2 Inleiding Gezondheidssector = Sleutelsector van IBM CPO = Strategisch product in de portfolio van IBM HealthCare De markt vandaag : - CPO/e beslaat meer dan 20% van de markt - CPO/e is een product en een dienstenoffering met een hoge kwaliteit erkend door de markt - MAAR - Er blijven geruchten bestaan over de intenties van IBM met betrekking tot CPO/e - De 5250 interface blijft een rem om nieuwe klanten te maken en een negatief argument bij de fusies waar onze klanten mee geconfronteerd worden... VANDAAG willen we u : - de voortzetting bevestigen van CPO/e en zijn diensten op lange termijn - de lancering in 2007 van een nieuwe versie van CPO/e officieel aankondigen 2

3 Inleiding (2/2) In dit kader heeft IBM een belangrijk investeringsbudget vrijgemaakt Deze investering concentreert zich op de evolutie van 5250-schermen naar een Webgebaseerde schermen IBM versterkt zijn team om nieuwe functionaliteiten te ontwikkelen Het is onze ambitie om de duurzaamheid van de Oplossing te garanderen en om ons marktaandeel te verhogen met 5 procent in de komende 2 jaar 3

6 De IBM-strategie voor het ziekenhuisbeheer met CPO/e CPO - Een applicatie voor Belgische ziekenhuizen gespecialiseerd in het registreren en het administratief beheer van patiënten evenals de tarificatie en de facturatie van de ligdagen, de prestaties, de producten en de diverse kosten aan patiënten, mutualiteiten en andere debiteurs. - Zij is het resultaat van 30 jaar ervaring wat aangetoond is door de commercialisatie van applicaties op 3 verschillende technische platformen : Tar/Fac 370 op Mainframe, PCS op Mainframe, CPO+ op Unix, CPO/e op System i - Een applicatie die gebaseerd is op 5 fundamentele principes : Centralisatie van de activiteiten rond de patient Een modulaire applicatie Een oplossing parametreerbaar volgens meervoudige assen Een gebruiksvriendelijke oplossing Vertrouwelijkheid 6

De positie van CPO/e blijft gehandhaafd. 8
