Feeling right at home This edition of the Double Dutch will try to convince you that you actually never left The Netherlands. Or maybe you did, but, there is a Holland in Saigon to be found in this city and we have the proof right here. At the end of this month a Holland Village, organized by the Consulate General of the Netherlands, will appear at the September 23 Park near Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City. For more information we refer you to the article that explains clearly why you cannot miss this special cultural event that sets out to highlight Dutch culture, art, and food, and will simultaneously promote Dutch companies that are active in Vietnam. As the DBAV member list keeps growing, we are again pleased to introduce the new Dutch companies in town. Have a look at the business section of this edition, where these new players introduce themselves and give you some interesting insight into their activities. In the living section, you will see that a lot of new Dutch people have spread their wings and settled in Saigon. Maybe you have already run into them, and, if not, read about them and have a look at their photos so that you can recognize them on the streets later. Due to the large number of families that have moved here, we can also report that the Nederlandse School started the new school year with a record high of 51 students, an increase of 38% compared to the start of last year. Socially, lots of activities have brought the Dutch community together in the last few months. A large group of Dutch speaking ladies got together for a delicious meal and a chat. A business outing to a brewery organized by the DBAV was a huge success with over 60 people attending. And, take a look back to June and July of this year, the time of hopeful cheering and Orange madness. You will find pictures of this and more in the back section of this edition. Traffic and traffic jams have clearly increased and when I pass the many buildings under construction, I wonder what will happen when they are fully occupied. Maybe the helicopter platform on top of the Bitexo financial tower will be the solution. We are happy to again welcome many new DBAV members: Wavin, SNV (Stichting Nederlandse Vrijwilligers), Tebodin, Air France KLM and last but not least the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hanoi. A warm welcome to you all and I hope that your business in Vietnam is successful, and that we as the DBAV can support you in this. Also, for your information, these new members have brought our total member number close to 60. In addition, we are pleased to inform you that we had the first meeting of the Hanoi Chapter of the DBAV. This historical occasion took place on Monday 20 September at the residence of the Ambassador in Hanoi, Mr. Joop Scheffers. We will continue to organize many events for the benefit of our members and the Dutch community. You can look forward to a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) presentation, a meeting about (financial) instruments from the Dutch government that support Dutch businesses in Vietnam, various company visits and a meeting with Eurocham. As you know, members of the DBAV are automatically members of Eurocham and can benefit from their services as well. Through its committee NLV (Nederlandse Vereniging), the DBAV also supports many community events. The organization for this is done by a team of very enthusiastic and professional volunteers from the Dutch community, who are currently busy working on organizing a fun Leidens Ontzet and bringing Sinterklaas to HCMC. An event that is also certainly worth mentioning is the Holland Village, which you can read all about in this edition of the Double Dutch. Last but not least, the DBAV is working on a booklet with practical information for doing business in Vietnam. Besides presenting our members to every newcomer to Vietnam, we also want to give practical information about doing business in Vietnam and about general issues. In order to make this information as relevant as possible, we would like to have your input, suggestions, opinions, and references, and will be contacting you about this shortly. 6 Holland village Holland Village is coming to HCMC! September 23 Park near Ben Thanh market District 1 3pm-11pm, 22 Oct-31 Oct 2010, Admission free In the framework of strengthening trade promotion and Holland branding, the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is going to bring the well-known Holland Village to Vietnam with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands. Consisting of 12 traditional Dutch houses with various traditional gables, Holland Village HCMC will present a number of typically (old) Dutch attractions, such as a fish stand, a cheese stand, a cheese scale and a street organ. Adding a traditional Dutch touch, a life-sized windmill will be on hand while, looking towards a sustainable future, a green roof will be erected in the Holland Village HCMC. Visitors can view demonstrations of wooden shoe making, glass blowing and discover Dutch floricultural products. Hungry for herring? Fill up on Holland s favorite fish, plus stroopwafels, cheese and more at Holland Village. Stroll alongside traditionally costumed Dutch characters by canal houses. Daily activities on the open-air stage will include traditional Dutch costume shows, floral workshops, accordionist Dutch music and more. Traditional poffertjes cart Poffertjes are typical Dutch pastries that are served for many different occasions. In Holland Village HCMC, they continue to be baked from the original recipe dating back to This type of pastry is a traditional Dutch specialty and takes experience to prepare. Lubica van Wijk has been operating a poffertjes cart for more than 25 years. The original recipe has been passed down for generations in her family and is a closely guarded family secret. Lubica s son, Pascal Gehrt continues the tradition. He has been operating his own poffertjes cart, alongside his family, since Hinkuvis Dutch fish specialties Working with Brooklyn s own Russ & Daughters, Piet Juijsters will create Dutch fish specialty sandwiches for village visitors with herring, shrimp, smoked salmon and smoked eel. Message from Frans Limpens, the glass artist at Holland Village Even now, in the modern world, there is a reason for my activity. For years I have manufactured instruments and pilot-plants for the chemical concern DSM. With glass blowing instruments, and pilot scientists and researchers, we have developed and improved the products of DSM. Through my work I have been able to expand my creativity and now I give glass blowing demonstrations to large groups of people. I have performed my art in many countries outside of Europe including Malaysia, South Korea, Peking, Hongkong, Bangkok, New York and soon Vietnam. Holland Village background Holland Village was built in 1980 to promote Dutch agricultural products in Germany. It was deployed about 4 times per year in the major cities of Germany. Since 1989 it has been deployed all over the world, starting in Japan (Osaka) and later in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, France, Austria, USA and a number of other countries. It has always been a combination of promoting agricultural / agroindustrial products and (traditional) culture. For the past 42 years, I have created all kinds of objects for people from all walks of life. To mention just a few: a hot-air balloon for King Hussein of Jordan and a windmill that now is the property of Princess Margriet of the Netherlands. If you can name it, I will produce it. The lungs of a man for a surgeon, musical instruments for musicians, mascots for football fans or animal figurines and many collector s items. All of these objects are made using a glass torch and special equipment made out of glass tubes with different diameters and glass bars. By blowing and handling the melted glass, all kinds of objects can be created. 6 DOUBLE DUTCH

The gathering of orange cyclos and bicycles celebrate the bicultural bond between the Netherlands and Vietnam. Both cyclos and bicycles will be decorated in orange and participants will wear orange shirts. The cyclos will represent Vietnam and bicycles will represent Holland. 9 dutch mission in vietnam Market access to Vietnam: A bumpy road to ride Monique Bennema Vietnam is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. An increasing number of Dutch businesses are keen on seeking investment and trade opportunities in this emerging country. However, investors should not expect that doing business in Vietnam will all be all smooth sailing. There are many barriers that businesses must overcome in order to successfully tap the many opportunities. Improved trade policies, focused on trade liberalization, together with greater international economic integration, contributed to the economic growth of Vietnam. Undeniably, market access for businesses entering Vietnam has improved tremendously since 1986 when the Doi Moi or Reform Policy was implemented. Still, a number of constraints remain. The main obstacles for companies in Vietnam are the lack of infrastructure and skilled human resources, and of consistency and transparency in the regulatory environment. Doing business in Vietnam is a challenge. Price control In an attempt by the Vietnamese government to control inflation by stabilizing prices of certain essential goods, price control measurements will be imposed on certain products of both foreign and domestic companies, effective from 1 October A wide range of products is included under the order, known as Circular 122, including cement, construction-grade steel, children s powdered milk, sugar, rice, animal feeds, coal and railway fares. It is not completely clear whether these measures will indeed contribute to controlling inflation, however, it is clear that some companies will be subjected to additional costs due to administrative procedures and compulsory disclosure of sensitive information about their products, business strategies and plans. Import licensing In addition, Circular 24 is a measure taken by the Vietnamese government on the application of automatic import licensing for a number of commodity items. The goal of this measure is to increase grip on imports in order to decrease the trade deficit. The effectiveness of this measure has yet to be proven, however what is clear to investors is that the practical implementation of these measures will hinder trade and lessen the attractiveness of Vietnam as an investment destination. The cap on the deductibility of advertising and promotional expenses (tax), the economic needs test (ENT) based on soft criteria (retail), and inconsistent decisions on whether one trademark infringes another (intellectual property protection) are other examples of laws that have the potential to harm Dutch business interest. Our assistance Promoting the development of trade and investment between the Netherlands and Vietnam is the core task of both the Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. As the regulatory environment of Vietnam is not yet well developed and Dutch businesses face market access issues, we are there to try to assist you in solving or reducing problems, if we are in the position to do so. Through our network with the Vietnamese government, we can often facilitate businesses in bringing issues to the appropriate level and, where necessary, submitting letters to the relevant authorities to highlight and request that these issues be solved in a fair and just manner. So we re not just talking about charity improvement for a particular group of people or community, but helping them in the longer term. Approximately 25 people attended the meeting and, following a word of welcome by the Ambassador, listened to the presentations of Jos Langens (Chairman of the Dutch Business Association) and Monique Bennema (Head of Economic & Commercial Affairs, of the Dutch Embassy in Hanoi). This last presentation was followed by a lively discussion about the many and varying experiences of doing business in Vietnam and how the Embassy can support in this. Many practical issues arose and also many suggestions were made. Jos Langens emphasized once again that one of the major benefits of being a member of the DBAV is that it is a platform for the exchange of information and experiences between Dutch entrepreneurs. This type of communication and collaboration are key factors to business success in Vietnam. The evening was very successful and a good example of what the DBAV stands for. We welcome all of our new members in Hanoi and would like to invite them to introduce their companies to us in the next edition of the Double Dutch.

Voor de productie is het voor ons handig om in de buurt van China te wonen en Ho Chi Minh City leek ons een leuke optie. We waren hier een aantal keer op vakantie geweest en het trekt ons. Daarbij is Vietnam upcoming, dus is het ook interessant om te kijken wat de mogelijkheden hier zijn. Waar woonden jullie voorheen? We hebben hiervoor vijf jaar met veel plezier in Shanghai gewoond. Hoe zijn de eerste ervaringen? Vietnam lijkt erg op China, maar dan tropisch. De mensen zijn meer relaxed, vrolijker en vriendelijker. Valentijn kan hier lekker in zijn luier met buurjongetjes buiten spelen, in plaats van op het balkon in een flat op 24 hoog. Hebben jullie al een opmerkelijke Vietnamese anekdote? We hadden bij de Metro een nieuwe wasmachine gekocht en daarbij nog wat tassen met boodschappen. We vroegen of die boodschappen tegelijk met de wasmachine geleverd konden worden. Waarom dit niet kon, werd ons pas de volgende dag duidelijk. De wasmachine werd achterop de brommer geleverd; er was duidelijk geen plaats meer voor de boodschappen. Monica Marieke (15) Familie Markink Wat brengt jullie naar Ho Chi Minh City en waar woonden jullie voorheen? Na vierenhalfjaar België, drie jaar Praag en drie jaar Bangalore mochten we, weer voor Metro, naar Vietnam. In juni togen we voor de look and see trip naar Ho Chi Minh City en nu zitten we vanaf juli hier. Hoe zijn de eerste ervaringen? Goed! Via de An Phu Neighbourhood group en via de website van ISHCMC had ik (Monica) al enkele contacten gelegd. Daardoor konden we al op de koffie bij medelanders, wisten we al waar we moesten gaan wonen en werden we bij Australiërs uitgenodigd voor een BBQ. Daar maakten Rutger en Marieke hun eerste contact met leeftijdsgenoten en facebook deed de rest. Ik kan me voorstellen dat je er ooit genoeg van krijgt maar tot nu toe gaat elke volgende verhuizing alleen maar gemakkelijker. Je weet waar je moet zoeken, waar je op moet letten en wat je wilt. Ook de kinderen hebben dat geleerd en doen wat ze moeten doen om zich weer thuis te gaan voelen. Wat ga je zeker doen tijdens je verblijf hier? Ik ga de Vietnamese markten en winkeltjes ontdekken en we zullen zeker veel van Azië en Vietnam zelf proberen te zien. Paps gaat werken, kinderen naar school en dan mag mams haar activiteiten gaan invullen, nieuwe vriendinnen zoeken en de goede winkels e.d. localiseren. Hoe verschilt het van vorige ervaringen? Na India valt dat allemaal erg mee. In vergelijking met Bangalore is het verkeer een peuleschil, zijn er weinig mensen, is alles verkrijgbaar, zijn de kleermakers beter, zijn de bediening en service vriendelijk, zijn er goede wegen, ziet alles er over het algemeen beter uit en is het er erg schoon. Verder moet je hier harder onderhandelen voor een goede prijs, kom je met Engels niet ver, is het hier véééééél warmer, is de toestand van de electriciteit even erbarmelijk en weten de electricien en loodgieter ook niet echt waar ze mee bezig zijn. 17 JOEP IN VIETNAM Shophouse stad Ho Chi Minhstad lijkt op Amsterdam. Althans, als je door je oogharen naar de gebouwen in de Vietnamese stad kijkt. In de veelal smalle, langgerekte rijtjeshuizen wordt wonen met werken gecombineerd. Daarmee zijn ze vergelijkbaar met de opzet van de Nederlandse grachtenpanden. De vraag is of de Nederlanders daadwerkelijk invloed hebben gehad op de shophouses in Ho Chi Minhstad. Op de schilderijen uit de zeventiende eeuw werden Nederlandse steden afgebeeld als geschenken van God. De compacte stad was het toonbeeld van welvaart en had een grote aantrekkingskracht op de bevolking. Hierdoor groeiden de Hollandse steden enorm. Om deze groei te controleren werden stedenbouwkundige uitbreidingsplannen gemaakt met aaneengesloten kavels voor de grachtenpanden. In deze multifunctionele rijtjeshuizen, werd het wonen gecombineerd met werken. om binnen de rationele Nederlandse stadsplanning (met smalle en diepe kavels) hun eigen handelswoning te bouwen. Deze ontmoeting tussen beide bevolkingsgroepen resulteerde in een mengeling van Nederlandse stadsplanning en Chinese commerciële functies. De typologie van de smalle, langgerekte rijwoningen voorzag in de commerciële behoefte. Voor zover ik kan overzien, zorgde de opbloeiende handel en toenemende bevolkingsdichtheid in de Zuidoost-Aziatische steden er voor dat het concept van de shophouse verder werd verspreid. De Chinese handelsdominantie in de regio leidde er toe dat niet de Nederlanders, maar de Chinezen de kennis en kunde van Batavia naar Vietnam hebben verscheept. Zij bouwden de smalle, diepe rijtjeshuizen eerst in Hanoi en later in Cholon, de voormalige Chinese tweelingstad even ten zuiden van Saigon. Tegelijk met de economische groei van de Hollandse stad, groeide ook de macht van de Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie. Dit internationaal opererend handelsbedrijf bouwde koloniale nederzettingen. Daarvoor gebruikten zij de stedenbouwkundige en architectonische kennis die werd opgedaan in Nederland. De belangrijkste handelsstad in Zuidoost- Azië werd Batavia, het huidige Jakarta. De ruimtelijke ordening van de Hollandse stad werd naar Batavia geëxporteerd. En ook hier werd het grachtenpand toegepast. In het oude Batavia gebeurde iets opmerkelijks, hier kwamen de stedelijke culturen van zowel de Nederlanders als de Chinezen samen. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat de Nederlanders de stad bestuurden en dat de Chinezen de handel domineerden. Hierdoor kregen de Chinese immigranten de mogelijkheid Veel van de Chinezen in Cholon stammen af van de eerste immigranten uit de achttiende eeuw. Vandaag de dag zie je aan de Chinese tekens op de winkelpuien dat ze er nog steeds wonen. Bij een van de huizen word ik uitgenodigd om binnen te kijken. Frontaal in de werkruimte staat een antiek beeld naast een altaar. Deze oude leeuw, vertelt de eigenaar, is ongeveer 150 jaar oud en een pronkstuk van de familie. Vervolgens wijst ze naar de Chinese tekens op de gevel, dit is een ode aan de gemeenschap en de mensen die dit gebouw hebben gemaakt. Nu wordt me duidelijk dat het oude gebouw vroeger een tempel was. De eigenaar legt uit waarom de binnen- en buitenkant van hun huis nog steeds een zelfde historische sfeer uitademt: Het huis is nooit verbouwd, omdat de grootmoeder de familie niet toestaat om de geschiedenis te veranderen. 18 nederlandse school saigon Stichting Nederlandse School Saigon Eigen leslokalen xíchlô Bianca van Sluijs Na de NOB (NOB= Nederlandse Onderwijs Bond) bijscholing tijdens de zomervakantie, zijn juf Aletta en juf Bianca weer vol enthousiasme en met nieuwe ideeën van start gegaan. De Nederlandse School Saigon telt momenteel maar liefst 51 leerlingen! Met dank aan de BIS beschikken we dit jaar voor het eerst over twee eigen leslokalen, met al onze lesmaterialen, themaborden, bibliotheek en helemaal in Hollandse sfeer ingericht! De leerlingen voelen zich er al echt thuis en we zijn er allemaal ontzettend blij mee! Ook wordt er dit schooljaar een middag in de week (woensdag, groep 3) les gegeven op de ISHCMC. André de Jong, Tim Hendriks, Linda Wegenaar, Mariska Marsilje en Hanneke Peters vormen het bestuur van de Nederlandse School Saigon. Per 1 september heeft Tim de taak van penningmeester van Mark van der Wielen overgenomen. Tijdens de ouderavond in september is de nieuwe schoolgids uitgedeeld, waarin alle belangrijke informatie terug te vinden is. Ook kun je op de website kijken. Cultuurdag De eerste cultuurmiddag van dit schooljaar hebben we gehouden op zaterdag 25 september. En al was het dan een schooldag, het was erg leuk, want deze middag stond in het teken van vrije tijd! En dan moet er natuurlijk ook wel gespeeld kunnen worden! Voor in de agenda: de overige drie cultuurmiddagen voor dit schooljaar staan gepland op 13 november 2010, 3 maart 2011 en 21 mei Het bestuur en de leerkrachten in het nieuwe leslokaal. Juf Aletta en Bianca met de leerlingen van groep 6 t/m 8 Topografie van Nederland Als NTC instelling (NTC= Nederlandse Taal en Cultuur) hebben we niet veel tijd om aan aardrijkskunde te besteden; eigenlijk komt dit onderwerp alleen tijdens de cultuurmiddag aan bod. Gevolg is dat veel leerlingen onvoldoende kennis hebben van de topografie van Nederland. Het leek ons daarom een uitstekend plan om hier het eerste trimester in groep 5 t/m 8 aandacht aan te besteden. Ze leren de 12 provincies, de belangrijkste steden en de waterwegen. Als voorbereiding op dit project, hebben we de leerlingen gevraagd hun favoriete plaats in Nederland aan elkaar te presenteren. De provincie Gelderland bleek goed bezocht te zijn afgelopen zomer! Zo werd er enthousiast verteld over het pannenkoekenhuis in Bennekom, de Zandmeren bij Kerkdriel, het gemeentehuis in Culemborg, en het Flipje museum in Tiel. Daarnaast hebben we horen vertellen over de Domtoren in Utrecht, Driebergen, de allerleukste kermis in Middelburg, het Anne Frank Huis in Amsterdam en natuurlijk over de luchthaven Schiphol, waar we allemaal wel even geweest waren. We hebben alle informatie op een prachtig themabord verzameld, zoals veel ouders op de ouderavond al hebben kunnen zien! Tijdens de les gehoord Samuel (groep 2) vertelt over Roodkapje:...en toen voelde de wolf zich een vegetariër, toen ging hij drinken en viel in de rivier! Imke (groep 6) noemt een dooier een dooiei! Maakt dat zin? No, it doesn t make sense... In groep 7 worden afkortingen behandeld. Wat betekent n.o.t.k.? 19 wonen in vietnam op de valreep Van Vietnam naar Nederland Wat is de samenstelling van jullie gezin? Marc (39 jaar), Angelique (37 jaar), Mike (6 jaar), Tybo (4 jaar) en Kyra (4 maanden). Hoe lang hebben jullie in Vietnam gewoond? Negen hele mooie jaren waarin we verschillende fasen hebben doorlopen. Als DINKI s (Double Income No Kids) kwamen we aan, waarbij we in een waanzinnig luxe apartement in het centrum van de stad hebben vertoefd. Een paar keer per week lopend/ kruipend vanuit de kroeg naar huis. Daarna kwamen de kinderen en werd het iets serieuzer toen we naar een huis met tuin gingen verhuizen. Ruim twee jaar daarna vonden we de tijd rijp voor Anh Phu... Ons oog viel op een mooi huis met lekkere tuin, terras en zwembad in de Phu Nhuan compound waar we met heel veel plezier hebben gewoond en veel van onze huidige vrienden hebben ontmoet. Ook Mike en Tybo hebben er heel veel vriendjes en vriendinnetjes gemaakt. NL weggehaald. Gelukkig hadden we de slaapkamerdeuren op Wat wordt de volgende bestemming? Nederland (of all places...). Wat gaan jullie het meeste missen? Alles! Het land, de mensen, het eten, onze vrienden, ons werk, ons huis, ons personeel, het makkelijke reizen vanuit Vietnam naar andere exotische bestemmingen. Wat is jullie meest positieve ervaring met de Vietnamese cultuur? Als je zelf moeite doet om een relatie met de Vietnamezen op te bouwen en je weet hun vertrouwen te winnen, dan kun je erg prettig met hen samenwerken. Wat is jullie meest negatieve ervaring? Inbraak in ons vorige huis. Terwijl we sliepen, is s nachts ingebroken en zijn al onze waardevolle spullen slot (een vreemde afwijking van Angelique sinds dat we in Vietnam woonden). Maar de volgende ochtend was het wel schrikken toen we beneden kwamen en niets meer op zijn plek zagen staan. Heel stom ook dat we geen verzekering hadden afgesloten... nooit aan gedacht... jaar zo erg naar onze zin, dat we zijn gebleven. Marc had vijf weken nadat we in Vietnam waren aangekomen, een erg leuke baan gevonden en toen was het ineens negen jaar later... Wat is jullie favoriete restaurant in HCMC en wat bestellen jullie daar meestal? Ngoc Suong: je kunt hier heerlijk seafood eten. Ook erg leuk dat het nog niet de Lonely Planet staat, dus het zit niet vol met toeristen. Hebben jullie nog een leuke winkeltip? De sieraden van Therese op Nguyen Thiep. Wat vinden jullie de leukste vakantiebestemming in Vietnam? Bac Ha (in de buurt van Sapa) is het mooiste, Phan Thiet is erg relaxed om met de kids naar toe te gaan. Wat is het leukste feest dat jullie hier hebben meegemaakt? Te veel om op te noemen: Australia Day, alle Australia Balls, Oktober Fest, Angelique s 30e verjaardag op het buitenterras op de 14e verdieping van Diamond Plaza, Mamma Mia, alle andere dress-up parties en ga nog maar een tijdje door. Zijn de verwachtingen die jullie destijds hadden toen jullie naar Vietnam kwamen, uit gekomen? Ja, en zelfs nog meer. Wij kwamen naar Vietnam voor twee jaar (omdat dit de duur van Angelique s uitzendingscontract was), maar we hadden het na die twee Tenslotte: hebben jullie nog enig advies voor de achterblijvers? Wat brengt jullie naar Ho Chi Minh City? Primaire aanleiding voor verkassen naar HCMC is de baan van David als marketing manager bij zoetwarenfabrikant Perfetti Van Melle. Daarnaast hadden we al lang de wens om een periode in een compleet andere cultuur en samenleving door te brengen. Met sterke voorkeur voor Azië - dus deze kans sloot hier perfect bij aan! Waar woonden jullie voorheen? Sinds 2002 woonden we in Amersfoort. Hoe zijn de eerste ervaringen? Goed! Vietnam is een schitterend land, met veel vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Eten, wonen en werken bevalt goed. Aankomen midden in de zomervakantie was voor de kinderen soms wat saai, maar ook zij zijn er prima doorheen gerold. De Nederlanders hier zijn bijzonder gastvrij - voor je t weet zit je weekend vol en een paar weken later ken je al heel veel mensen - helemaal top! Wat missen jullie het meest uit Nederland? De frisse lucht, picknicken in de speeltuin om de hoek, hardlopen in het bos. En natuurlijk vooral de vrienden, het sociale gebeuren in onze wijk en de familie. Wat gaan jullie zeker doen in Vietnam? We gaan ons onder laten dompelen in het dagelijkse leven in Vietnam, voor David onder andere tijdens werk en voor Truus wellicht tijdens vrijwilligerswerk.
