7 Glas Glass Belangrijk om weten Important to know Maak de glazen flessen, flacons en bokalen helemaal leeg. Completely empty the glass bottles, flasks and jars. Gooi transparant wit glas in de witte glasbol en transparant gekleurd glas in de gekleurde glasbol. Throw transparent white glass in the white bottle bank and transparent coloured glass in the coloured bottle bank. GEKLEURD GLAS COLOURED GLASS WIT GLAS WHITE GLASS Respecteer de rust van de buurtbewoners. Gooi uw glazen flessen, flacons en bokalen alleen in de glasbol tijdens de uren die daarvoor voorzien zijn. 9 Papier - Karton Paper - Cardboard Belangrijk om weten Important to know Haal kranten, tijdschriften en folders uit hun plastic verpakking. Remove the plastic packaging from the newspapers, magazines and folders. 15kg De kartonnen doos mag maximaal 15 kg wegen. Max 15kg The cardboard box is allowed weigh maximum 15 kg. 15kg Stop uw papier en karton in een gesloten kartonnen doos of maak er een pakketje van, bij voorkeur samengebonden met touw (geen ijzerdraad of plastic koord). Put your paper and cardboard in a closed cardboard box or fold it together, preferably bound together with rope (not iron wire or plastic string). Gebruik geen plakband om de dozen dicht te maken. Don t use adhesive tape to close the boxes.

De kalender krijgt u in de loop van december in de brievenbus. U kan hem ook mobiel raadplegen via de Recycle!-app (zie onder voor meer info). When does the rubbish truck come round? The collection calendar is very handy for anyone not familiar with sorting. It contains a lot of useful information to help you sort your rubbish. You will find the calendar in your letterbox at the end of the year. You can also consult it on a mobile device via the RECYCLE! App (see below for more information). Zoek uw straat op in de stratenlijst van de kalender om uw ophaaldag te kennen. Elke ophaaldag heeft een nummer. Kijk steeds naar dit nummer om te weten wanneer u welk afval moet buiten zetten. 15 Goed om weten Good to know Wie zijn de intercommunales? Fost Plus werkt samen met alle intercommunales die instaan voor het afvalbeheer van de gemeenten. In uw gemeente is dit IDM. Zij zijn o.a. verantwoordelijk voor het goede verloop van de inzameling, waaronder de organisatie van de inzamelrondes, de verspreiding van de ophaalkalenders en de opvolging en controle. Waar staat het Groene Punt-logo voor? Het Groene Punt-logo op een verpakking geeft aan dat het bedrijf dat het product op de markt brengt, lid is van Fost Plus en daardoor bijdraagt tot de inzameling, sortering en recyclage van de verpakkingen. Het betekent niet noodzakelijk dat de verpakking in de blauwe PMD-zak hoort. Het Groene Punt-logo is dus geen sorteerlogo. Wie is Fost Plus? De vzw Fost Plus staat in voor de promotie, coördinatie en financiering van de inzameling, sortering en recyclage van huishoudelijk verpakkingsafval in België: PMD, glas en papier-karton. Wat is een recyclagepark? In het recyclagepark kan u terecht met al uw huishoudelijk afval (met uitzondering van gewoon restafval dat in de grijze container moet). Kijk op recyclageparken voor de informatie over het recyclagepark waar u terecht kan. De toezichter wijst u in welke container u de meegebrachte afvalstoffen mag achterlaten. Hierna zullen de materialen eventueel bewerkt worden om uiteindelijk als grondstof te gebruiken. Who are the intermunicipalities? Fost Plus works together with all intermunicipal companies responsible for waste management in the municipalities. IDM is responsible for your municipality. They ensure, among other things, that the collection process runs smoothly, including organising collection rounds, distributing collection calendars, and the follow-up and inspection. What does the Green Point logo stand for? The Green Point logo on packaging indicates the company which put the packed product on the market, is a member of Fost Plus and thus contributes to the collection, sorting and recycling of the packaging. It does not necessarily mean the packaging belongs in the blue PMD bag. The Green Point logo is therefore not a sorting logo. Who is Fost Plus? Non-profit organisation Fost Plus is responsible for the promotion, coordination and financing of the collection, sorting and recycling of household packaging waste in Belgium: PMD, glass and paper-cardboard. What is a container or recycling park? You can take all of your household waste to the recycling centre (with the exception of regular residual waste that must go into the grey container). Please visit recyclageparken for information about your recycling centre. The supervisor will show you which containers to put your various waste materials in. After this, these materials will most likely be processed so that they can eventually be used as raw materials for other things.
