16 EOW voor gerecycleerde scherven, kaderrichtlijn > Onze aandacht voor de kaderrichtlijn afval, EOW Vanuit de glasrecyclage sector is er veel aandacht voor de debatten met betrekking tot de definities die werden geformuleerd binnen de herschreven kaderrichtlijn. De belangrijkste reden hiervoor zijn: - de enorme meerwaarde die wij als recycleurs aan het glasafval geven - de belangrijke bijdrage die wij leveren aan de glasproducenten in hun challenge rond verlaagde CO²-uitstoot en energiebesparingen
17 EOW voor gerecycleerde scherven, kaderrichtlijn > Onze aandacht voor de kaderrichtlijn afval, EOW Vanuit de glasrecyclage sector is er veel aandacht voor de debatten met betrekking tot de definities die werden geformuleerd binnen de herschreven kaderrichtlijn. De belangrijkste reden hiervoor zijn: - de meeste glasproducenten hebben geen vergunning voor de verwerking en opslag van afvalstoffen. - tegenstrijdigheid tussen hoogkwalitatieve eigenschappen van grondstof en opslag van afval

STEP 3: Is the widely spread material used as a secondary raw material STEP 4: Is the material directly, in its totality and without special pre-treatment brought into the glass production process? STEP 5: Does the material comply with current product standards, including the environmental protection aspects? STEP 6: Is cullet, as far as nature, composition and impact on human life and environment are concerned, comparable with the primary raw material which it replaces, or is it even better?
