2 hbo-bachelor 3 of 4 jaar Logistiek en economie Postpropedeuse In het eerste jaar maak je kennis met alle facetten van de logistiek. Daarna ga je accenten leggen in je studie. Je kiest voor een project en een cursus binnen een specifieke logistieke richting. Met je stage en je afstudeeropdracht leg je ook een bepaald accent. Dat kan weer nét anders zijn. Zo kun je jouw kennis specialiseren, maar ook verbreden. Hier volgen de mogelijkheden. Zorglogistiek Je hebt in de gezondheidszorg te maken met de organisatie van logistieke processen, zoals de goederenstromen (denk aan apparatuur en medicijnen) en mensenstromen (denk aan patiënten en bezoekers). Dit vraagt om logistieke specialisten. De vraag naar professionals in deze branche zal door de vergrijzing van de bevolking sterk toenemen. NHTV Breda biedt twee Nederlandstalige logistieke hbo-bachelors. Je kunt kiezen voor Logistiek en economie of Logistics Engineering. In de economische opleiding is meer aandacht voor financiële aspecten en marketing. Logistics Engineering legt meer nadruk op de techniek van het opslaan en transporteren van goederen. In 3 of 4 jaar word je opgeleid tot logistiek manager. Na je studie Logistiek en economie ben jij de spin in t web die zorgt voor een optimale communicatie en een efficiënte organisatie van logistieke processen! Propedeuse In je eerste jaar krijg je trainingen, cursussen, coaching en projecten. De opgedane kennis wordt direct toegepast in praktijkgerichte opdrachten. Met medestudenten richt je in het project Warehousing een magazijn in. Daarnaast onderzoek je de keten van een multinational van producent naar consument. Vraagstukken in productie, opslag en transport van goederen staan centraal. Je leert hoe je bedrijfsprocessen kunt optimaliseren, je richt de vervoersketen in en brengt distributieprocessen in kaart. Distributielogistiek Je leert hoe een product of dienst op de beste manier van een leverancier naar een afnemer komt. Binnen deze richting staan transport en opslag centraal. Goederenstromen zijn mondiaal georganiseerd, dus producten moeten grote afstanden overbruggen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat dit zo snel en goedkoop mogelijk gebeurt. Evenementenlogistiek Je houdt je bezig met de logistiek rondom grote evenementen. Je regelt de voorzieningen voor de bezoekers (catering, toiletfaciliteiten, slaapplaatsen, EHBO en looproutes), maar ook de voorzieningen voor de sprekers of artiesten (podia, verlichting, geluidsversterking, licht en stands). Jij zorgt ervoor dat alles en iedereen op het juiste moment op de juiste plaats is. Productielogistiek Hoe kun je ervoor zorgen dat voor het maken van een bepaald type auto alle benodigde onderdelen op tijd beschikbaar zijn, zodat je de auto in de gewenste aantallen kunt produceren en kunt leveren aan de klant? Bij productielogistiek draait het om het plannen en organiseren van het productieproces. Je coördineert het proces en bewaakt de planning en de kwaliteit.

3 Stage en afstuderen In het derde jaar loop je twee keer stage. Je kunt beide stages koppelen aan één richting. Je kunt ook in je tweede stage een nieuwe richting verkennen. In het vierde jaar volg je afsluitende vakinhoudelijke colleges en je voert een afstudeeropdracht uit voor bijvoorbeeld een ziekenhuis. Internationaal Je verkent tijdens excursies in binnen- en buitenland jouw vakgebied. Bestemmingen zijn bijvoorbeeld Hamburg, Londen en Barcelona. Je kunt ook stage lopen in het buitenland. 8 Professional Bachelor 3 or 4 years International Logistics and Economics Years 1 and 2 In the first and second years, you complete projects, courses, training courses and coaching sessions. You learn how to plan and organise the production process. You will finish these two years with an industry project on transport and distribution. Year 3 In the third year you carry out two work placements, both for three months at for example a production company or commercial enterprise. In the second part of that year you deepen your theoretical knowledge. NHTV Breda offers two international and English-taught programmes in the field of logistics. In the economic programme the emphasis is on financial aspects and marketing. In the engineering programme, it is more on the technical aspects of storage and transport. After your graduation in Logistics and Economics, you are the logistic expert who offers optimal customer service at minimal cost to any logisticsrelated business challenge! Year 4 In the fourth year you take a number of specialist classes and work on your graduation assignment for an international company in the Netherlands or abroad, where the business language is English. Study programme This programme focuses on competency-based learning. This means you will acquire the knowledge, skills and attitude required in your future career. Collaboration, communication and organisational skills are key ingredients, which is why you will often work on real-life projects together with fellow students. More specifically, one of the projects will teach you how to organise a production plant as well as everything related to delivering goods to customers.

9 International study trip In the first two academic years you can earn two credits by completing a course or practical component of your own choice. Consider, for example, participating in an international study trip to New York, Dubai, Cape Town or Arizona. Other destinations are Berlin, London and Barcelona. Exchange programme Since the study programme prepares you for an international career, you will have the possibility to participate in an exchange programme at a partner university of NHTV or another university. 3-year track It is possible to do the study programme in three years if you completed: > pre-university education, e.g. vwo, Abitur, A-level, IB > vocational education (related programmes, level 4) > a propaedeutic year at another higher education institution or university Check for more information on the three-year tracks.
