We are currently looking to reinforce our Brussels office with a: (Assistant) MANAGER(s) - EUROPEAN VAT COMPLIANCE Job Description: You assist with the Pan European accounting and tax administration, including the review of VAT, Intrastat and other related declarations; You assist shared service centers with the setup of their accounting and VAT obligations on a Pan European basis; You assist our clients with VAT and Intrastat audits on a Pan European basis; You provide clients with advice and practical consulting services on Pan-European VAT reporting matters; You will be coaching and developing a team of professionals; You will be managing all compliance related aspects of a/your client portfolio, being responsible for the delivery of compliance services. Your Role: You have a bachelor degree accountancy-tax or a master degree in economics or law; You have 5 to 7 years experience in accountancy-tax, either in large organizations with shared service centers or in the consulting arena; You communicate fluently in English. Any additional European language is an asset; You have a great sense of accuracy and you are result oriented; You are team oriented, enthusiastic and flexible; You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Certainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Je zoekt uit welke mogelijkheden er zijn naar BTW-optimalisatie en je ondersteunt bij de uitvoering van BTW-audits. Je bouwt een sterke expertise op vlak van BTW op en je draagt bij aan het doorgeven van deze expertise aan klanten en aan medewerkers van andere business units (Accountancy & Audit), door het geven van updates, het schrijven van interne nieuwsbrieven of het organiseren van seminaries binnen en buiten Moore Stephens. Je bent het steunpunt voor de medewerkers van Moore Stephens in hun dagelijkse werking. Je werkt onder leiding van de Senior Manager Tax & Legal die verantwoordelijk is voor het expert center BTW. Profiel: Je beschikt over een Masterdiploma in Economie of Rechten met een aanvullende specialisatie in Fiscaliteit. Je kan bogen op 2 tot 3 jaar relevante ervaring in een fiscale omgeving Je hebt kennis van BTW en de interesse en ambitie om je te ontplooien tot BTW-specialist. Je bent analytisch en communicatief sterk. Je houdt ervan om met je collega s en klanten je kennis en expertise te delen en je bent bereid om jezelf te blijven bijscholen in deze materie.
