Would you like to become part of a team of consultants working on exciting Belgian as well as international projects? We are currently looking for a junior Corporate Tax Consultant further specialising in reporting for income taxes. Corporate Tax Consultants further specialising in reporting for income taxes are Corporate Tax specialists with a clear interest in financial reporting. In fact reporting for income taxes is the fine art of connecting two very different worlds: international corporate taxation and international financial reporting. Within our team, you will help large national and international groups to deal with all kinds of topics and opportunities in the domain of local and international corporate taxation & financial reporting. Topics have a very wide-spread range such as: Tax provisioning and forecasting; The preparation or review of IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP reportings and other corporate income tax obligations; Audit of income taxes: audit of tax provisions of individual entities up to consolidated multinational groups; Assistance of clients with the implementation of Tax Software or Tools; Consulting and assistance in the context of Mergers and Acquisitions, Transfer Pricing (e.g. business restructurings) and Initial Public Offerings, etc.; Reviewing international tax planning and the impact thereof on the (consolidated) financial statements; Etc. You will be able to team-up with clients early in your career to assist with local and international tax reporting and advice on appropriate disclosure of tax positions towards stakeholders. Qualifications You have: A master degree in economics (or commercial engineer) or law; A qualification in Tax is an added value. If you have not yet obtained one, you are willing to take evening classes to obtain one; You are graduating this academic year or have a maximum of two years' experience; The ability to analyse complex problems and present them in a synthesised manner; Fluent (report) writing skills; A team-player attitude and you are committed, flexible, accurate and eager to learn.
