3 DESIGN LVV MARIEKE CASTELIJN Collectie LVV LVV collection In de lijn van de succesvolle strokentafels van de LV-collectie, ontwierp Marieke Castelijn in 2009 de collectie LVV. Strakke grote bladen in verschillende lengtes met een mooie verstekverbinding van blad naar wang, worden met de LV-bureaukasten of sideboards tot bureaus gecombineerd. In combinatie met de zijwang ontstaan juist opvallende, asymmetrische tafels. Alle bureaus en tafels hebben een bladdiepte van 100cm. De standaard werkhoogte van 74.3cm is middels ophoogstrippen naar 76.3 of 78.3cm te verhogen. Ook de top- en zijbladen van de kasten zijn uitgevoerd met een verstekverbinding. Naast alle houtuitvoeringen van het overzicht achterin deze brochure, zijn de LVV-bladen ook in HPL verkrijgbaar. Fraaie uni-kleuren als wit, kiezel en zand laten zich makkelijk combineren met de bestaande lak- en houtkleuren. Van koel zakelijk tot juist warm huiselijk. Of toch kleurrijk en gedurfd doorcombineren vanuit de verwante LV-collectie? Voor meer informatie en dealeradressen: Marieke Castelijn s 2009 LVV collection was largely inspired by the successful strip desks of the 2006 LV collection, whose tabletops and side pieces are made up of different-coloured strips. The new LVV collection consists of large, one-piece rectangular tabletops of various lengths, linked to two side pieces by means of beautiful mitre joints. The fact that one side piece is open while the other one is closed gives LVV desks a delightfully asymmetric appearance. Combined with LV drawer units and sideboards, the tabletops make for eye-catching desk arrangements. All LVV desks and tables are 100cm deep. The 74.3cm standard height can be increased to either 76.3 or 78.3cm using height-adding strips. In addition to the various types of wood finish listed on pp , we offer LVV tabletops made of HPL. Like the aforementioned tabletops, the tops and sides of LVV bookcases are joined together by mitre joints. Available in shades which are eminently suited to forming a combination with the white, grey and sand-coloured tabletops of the LVV collection, the storage units can be used to create either stylish business environments or cosy-looking homes. 7 DESIGN LV MARIEKE CASTELIJN Collectie LV LV collection De bureaus en tafels in Collectie LV (in 2006 ontworpen door Marieke Castelijn), kunt u met losse bladstroken van 20, 30, 40 en 50cm breed zélf samenstellen. Zodoende bepaalt u niet alleen de uiteindelijke lengte, maar ook het ritme van de naden in het blad: strak in één stramien of juist een nonchalante mix van breedtematen. Ook kunt u bepalen of uw blad uit één houtsoort bestaat of verrassend gemixt wordt met frisse lakkleuren. De losse bladstroken maken bovendien vervanging, kleurverandering of aanpassingen in de toekomst mogelijk. Het stroken-effect komt op de bijpassende kasten terug in het afdekblad, dat links of rechts tot op de grond doorloopt. Zowel de bureaus van 100cm diep als de benchtafels van 160cm rusten op geheel gelakte kastjes, met rondom bergruimte. De standaard werkhoogte van 74.3cm is middels ophoogstrippen naar 76.3 of 78.3 cm te verhogen. Bijpassende vergadertafels zijn op dieptes van 100cm, 120cm of 160cm verkrijgbaar en kunnen tot wel 310cm lengte samengesteld worden. Bij de 110cm hoge statafels is de maximale lengte 210cm. De LV-collectie is verkrijgbaar in noten wild of eiken wild óf juist een spannende mix van lakkleuren en oppervlaktestructuren als unilak, effectlak, hoogglanslak, gelakt kantmotief of in stof Sudden van weverij Kvadrat. The LV collection, designed in 2006 by Marieke Castelijn, is based on individual wooden strips of 20, 30, 40 and 50 cm wide, allowing you to create your own table or desk surface. You can determine not only the eventual length of your table, but also the visual rhythm of the surface joints: at orderly, evenlyspaced intervals, or in a playful pattern of varying widths. The individual wooden strips also make it possible to replace strips, change their colour or make a range of other adjustments to adapt your furniture to changing tastes and requirements. The LV collection is available in wild walnut and wild oak, or in an exciting mix of different paint finish colours and surface structures. Besides desks with a depth of 100 cm, you can also create generously dimensioned bench tables with a depth of 160 cm, supported in the middle by a doublesided drawer unit which includes an equipment compartment that can be opened from both sides. Matching conference tables are available in depths of 100, 120 or 160 cm. The top and side components of the cupboard units in the collection are also composed of strips, making it possible to assemble walltowall sideboards. 16 DESIGN KW COEN CASTELIJN Collectie KW KW collection Coen Castelijn combineerde het eerlijke plaatmateriaal berken multiplex met vloeiende bladvormen door in 2000 de collectie KW te ontwerpen. Een veelzijdig toepasbaar management/directie meubel, met 7 verschillende bladvormen, diverse zijtafels en maar liefst 13 modellen vergadertafels. Met de compactere bureauvormen zonder ingelegde desktops, kan zelfs ook het secretariaat in stijl ingevuld worden. When Coen Castelijn designed the KW collection in 2000, he focused on combining the down-to-earth appeal of birch plywood with flowing, curved tabletop designs. This resulted in a highly versatile collection of executive and boardroom furniture featuring seven different tabletop designs, various add-on tables and no fewer than 13 conference-table models. The more compact desk designs without inlaid desktops can even be used to create a stylish look for secretarial offices. The curved design of the tabletops returns in the curving sidepieces below the desks, to which optional drawer units and cabinets can be mounted. Thanks to the metal legs supporting the sidepieces, KW can be supplied in five different heights ranging from 72 to 78 centimetres. Storage space is provided by the surprisingly shaped, curved panel cabinets or the handy stackable cupboard system. Optional elements of the cupboard system include doors, drawers for hanging file folders, open compartments and glass cabinets, offering a wide range of options for creating a wall unit. 26 DESIGN AT COEN CASTELIJN Collectie AT AT collection De collectie AT, in 2005 ontworpen door Coen Castelijn, heeft markante bladvormen waarbij de steeds asymmetrisch door het blad heen stekende wangen direct opvallen. De bureaus, in vele bladmaten en vormen, kunnen uitgebreid worden met zijtafels, sideboards en ladeblokken en zijn in vier verschillende bladhoogtes leverbaar. Aangevuld met een tiental tafelvormen en een stapelbaar kastsysteem met legio mogelijkheden, ontstaat een ruime keuze voor de directiekamer. The AT collection, designed by Coen Castelijn, is an attractive range of desks and tables featuring sidepieces set asymmetrically into strikingly shaped surfaces. The items in this collection are also available with an optional integrated cable duct. The desks come in a wide range of surface dimensions and shapes, in four different heights, and can be extended with side tables, sideboards and drawer units. Ten different table shapes and a highly versatile stackable cupboard system ensure that the AT collection is as flexible as it is attractive. De AT-collectie kan daarnaast ook doorgecombineerd worden in de boardroom of grotere vergaderzalen. Daartoe is in 2008 een vergadersysteem toegevoegd, waarbij met gekoppelde tafelelementen veelal de gewenste opstellingsvorm en -grootte te creëren is. Ook veelomvattend zijn de combinatiemogelijkheden bij AT qua materiaal: bladen in Desktop met wangen in hout, bladen in hout met wangen in lak of zowel bladen als wangen in hout. De lakkleuren matchen met de Desktop kleuren en hebben bovendien eenzelfde matheid door de oppervlaktestructuur effect. Equally appealing are the possibilities for combining different materials: surfaces with a Desktop finish and wooden sidepieces, surfaces in wood and sidepieces with a paint finish, or surfaces and sidepieces in wood. The paint finish colours match the Desktop colour range. Moreover, the standard surface structure of the paint finishes is coordinated with the Desktop surface finish to produce a unified matt effect. 36 DESIGN MP MARIEKE CASTELIJN Collectie MP MP collection Marieke Castelijn had toen zij in 2002 de collectie MP ontwierp een duidelijk doel voor ogen: een vergadersysteem ontwerpen met uiterste flexibiliteit, zonder concessie te doen aan de vormgeving. Die heeft zij gevonden in de ranke metalen poten, die bij gekoppelde tafels samenvloeien tot één nog steeds elegante vorm én in het licht gewicht materiaal voor de bladen, waardoor met de tafelelementen eenvoudig andere opstellingen kunnen worden gemaakt. Eenmaal op hun plaats, worden de elementen zonder gereedschap weer aan elkaar geklikt. Naast het vergadersysteem, waarmee opstellingen van 4 tot meer dan 40 personen moeiteloos in te vullen zijn, omvat de MP-collectie ook een aantal bureaus. Daarbij kan steeds een poot vervangen worden door een ladenblok en/of CPU-kastje. De flexibiliteit van het meubilair komt weer goed tot zijn recht bij de aanzettafel, die in een handomdraai van wandtafel tot spreektafel aan het bureau kan worden omgezet. Bijpassende kastruimte is in te vullen met drie fraaie dressoirkasten met de kenmerkende poten op de hoeken óf een kastwand samengesteld uit het rompensysteem. In designing the MP collection in 2002, Marieke Castelijn had a clear goal in mind: creating a set of conference furniture that would offer unsurpassed flexibility without compromising on aesthetics. The solution was found in the slender metal corner legs, which form a harmonious whole when tables are linked while retaining their elegant shape. Light-weight materials were used for the tabletops, which makes it easy to rearrange the table elements. Once in the required position, the elements can be clicked into place without any need for tools. In addition to the conference system, which can seat from 4 to more than 40 persons effortlessly, the MP collection also includes several desk models. In all of these, a corner leg can be replaced by a drawer unit and/or CPU cabinet. The flexibility of the collection is reflected in the side table, which can be placed against the main desk to create more workroom. The collection also includes three attractive sideboard models with the distinctive folded corner legs, which can be used to create storage space geared to your requirements.
