CHEMIN DE FER De naam Ferrovia (vrij vertaald ijzeren weg ) verwijst naar de spoorwegen. In het begin van de 20e eeuw werd dit type deurkruk namelijk veelal toegepast in de treinstellen in diverse West- Europese landen zoals België, Frankrijk en Italië. De meest bekende trein was wel de Orient Express waarvoor deze deurkrukken speciaal waren ontworpen. Met name het verticale T-krukje was erg in trek, destijds vaak in klein formaat. In Frankrijk en delen van België is dit design ook wel beter bekend als Chemin de Fer. De serie is gemoderniseerd en gefabriceerd uit massief roestvast staal (mat en gepolijst leverbaar) en gecompleteerd met de nodige accessoires, zoals diverse soorten raam- en meubelbeslag, waardoor alle functies binnen een huis (of ander object) met één en dezelfde stijl kunnen worden ingevuld. The name Ferrovia (to be translated as iron road ) refers to the railways. In the early twentieth century this particular style of door handle was often used in trains in European countries such as Belgium, France, and Italy.
