Preface Dear football friends, In annual tradition, FCV Dender EH organizes a high quality youth tournament for U8, U9, U10 and U11. On Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May 2015, our fifth major international tournament will take place at the 'Sportpark' in Denderleeuw. The matches will be played on the practice pitches of our first team, on the pitches of our youth teams and in the 'Van Roystadion'. During this weekend, 111 teams will have a shot at the title of tournament winner in each of the four categories. Besides 86 directly placed teams, there will also be 24 teams (6 per category) from the preliminary rounds. The weekend before the tournament, 192 teams will compete for these 24 wildcards. So, in total, as many as 303 teams will put their best foot forward on our pitches. For this 5th international edition, we are proud to welcome 28 foreign teams. We are also proud to say that 12 premier league clubs of Belgium have found their way to our pitches with one or more youth teams. This is truly unique in Belgium! This booklet gives an overview of the participants in the international tournament (with club colours and registration number). Furthermore, it contains a map of the complex where the tournament will take place, and the play schedules for all categories. On the day of the tournament, your team will be assisted by one of our attendants, who will guide you to the changing rooms and pitches and to the restaurant for the free lunch that is offered to all players and the people accompanying them. The attendant will also gladly answer all the questions of your team during the tournament. Again, I wish to thank you for the confidence your club has in our organization. Fifth International Tournament FCV Dender EH 2015 Rules In general 1. This tournament is organized by FCV Dender EH Jeugd with registration number 3900. 2. The international main tournament (30 & 31 May) will take place at the main complex Sportpark & Van Roystadion in Denderleeuw. Address: visitors entrance: Walleken (no number), 9470 Denderleeuw Parking facilities: parking Walleken and large parking area Stadionlaan (via the path around the stadium one can get to the visitors entrance, entrance Tornooi/Tournament). Categories 3. The tournament is reserved for the teams U8 (2007), U9 (2006), U10 (2005) and U11 (2004). 4. U8 and U9 play 5 against 5 on Saturday 30 May. 5. U10 and U11 play 8 against 8 on Sunday 31 May. 6. When there is doubt, the organizers can ask to prove the age of each player via official documents (kids-id...)! If the age cannot be proven, the team in question might loose its possible qualification for the final round. 7. The organizational costs are borne by the organizing club. 8. The rules are those of the Royal Belgian Football Association for all categories. 9. The referees are designated by the organizing club. Arrival 10. The participating clubs are asked to register 1 hour before the start of their first match at the latest. 11. Each team participating in the international main tournament will be assisted throughout the day by an attendant of FCV Dender EH. 12. A list of max. 9 players for categories U8 & U9 and of max. 12 players for U10 & U11 shall be handed to the organizers by each participating team 45 minutes before their first match. This list can be found further on in this booklet. 13. The organizing club, FCV Dender EH, reserves the right to claim a compensation of 250 when a registered team does not show up for the tournament. The forfeit score is 3-0 or 0-3. 14. Each team can be accompanied by 3 people (trainers included). These people have free access and will be admitted to the restaurant along with the players (assisted by the attendant of FCV Dender EH). On the day of the match, each team will be offered a hot lunch. 15. There will be no exchange of fanions before the start of the matches. Each club is however asked to hand over two fanions to the secretariat on arrival. These fanions will be hung in our tournament gallery. Equipment and material 16. All teams shall bring along outfits in two different colours to the tournament. In case both teams are wearing the same colour at the start of the match, the 'home team' shall adapt their outfits. 17. Numbers on the players shirts are desirable (not mandatory). The same numbering shall be maintained throughout the entire tournament. 18. Each team shall bring along their own footballs for the warming-up. Sports rules 19. Duration of the matches: indicated on the schedules 20. Ranking The ranking in each group is based on the number of points: a. win: 3 points b. draw: 1 point c. loss: 0 points In case of equality of points the following criteria apply: a. number of wins b. goal difference c. result of the match between the teams who ended equally d. number of goals scored e. toss 21. Some important points: a. max. 9 players for U8 & U9, permanent substitutions b. max. 12 players for U10 & U11, permanent substitutions c. throw-in: 1. U8 & U9: the referee decides whether a bad throw-in can be retaken or not. 2. U10 & U11: a bad throw-in is not retaken. d. an offence within an area of 8 m from the goal is punishable by an indirect free kick from a distance of 8 m; the defenders have to stand on the goal line. e. goal kick: applicable at a distance of 8 m from the team s own goal. f. the goalkeeper cannot handle the ball from a back-pass. Complaints 22. Every complaint shall be lodged to the secretariat 15' after the end of the match at the latest. Any dispute will be submitted to the organizing committee. The decisions taken are irrevocable and final. Trophies 23. Trophies: the best 3 teams per category receive a trophy. All players receive a medal. Insurance & damage 24. The delegates and the players have to be insured via their football association. 25. During the entire tournament, the organizing committee of FCV Dender EH is not responsible for any accidents, loss, theft or damage to valuable or personal items, on or around the pitches and changing rooms. 26. For any damage caused to the equipment inside the enclosure of the tournament a compensation (according to estimate) will be claimed from the club that caused it. Entrance fee 27. The entrance fee is 5 per person. Miscellaneous 28. All cases that are not discussed in this set of rules shall be irrevocably settled by the organizing committee. 29. Participation in the tournament implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. Directions to the tournament site FCV Dender EH From Brussels (E40) (from hotel): Take exit Affligem / Liedekerke / Denderleeuw. Follow the road in the direction of Denderleeuw. Go straight on at the first 2 roundabouts. At the third roundabout, turn left under the railway bridge. Go straight on (Guido Gezellestraat). At the end of the street, follow the road to the right and turn immediately left (Dwarsstraat). At the end of the Dwarsstraat, turn right and cross the railway (Veldstraat). After 400 m, turn left (Walleken). You have reached the tournament site. From Ghent (E40): E40 in the direction of BRUSSELS. Exit Aalst. Follow NINOVE-GERAARDSBERGEN. At the roundabout, follow DENDERLEEUW-EREMBODEGEM INDUSTRIE (= left). After about 100 m, turn right (through the industrial area). At the end (T-junction after about 2 km), turn right in the direction of NINOVE. Cross the railway and go straight on at the traffic lights. Follow the indications to the stadium (the third street on the left - Veldstraat). Follow the indication SPORTPARK, BEZOEKERS (VISITORS).

Hieronder kan u een overzicht met een korte voorstelling van onze buitenlandse deelnemers van het Internationaal Tornooi 2015 terugvinden Nederland: Deze club voorstellen is eigenlijk overbodig... want iedereen kent deze 'Nederlandse topclub' wel! Ze werden 1 x Nederlands landskampioen en hebben een van de sterkste jeugdopleidingen van Nederland. Hun bijnaam is 'De Tukkers' en de club speelt zijn wedstrijden in het noordelijke Enschede (325km van Denderleeuw) Ze zullen voor het eerst aanwezig zijn op ons Internationaal tornooi met hun U11- lichting Met ADO Den Haag hebben we nog een Nederlandse nieuwkomer uit de Eredivisie. Deze kustploeg speelt nu al opnieuw enkele jaren op het hoogste niveau en zakt naar ons stadion af met hun U10-lichting. Benieuwd of ze hun clubnaam waar kunnen maken (ADO: Alles Door Oefening)...?!? Voor het eerst hebben we tijdens dezelfde editie 3 clubs uit de Nederlandse Eredivisie te gast. PEC Zwolle vervolledigd dit rijtje. Sinds 3 jaar spelen ze weer op het hoogste niveau al vertolken ze hier eerder een 'figurantenrol'. Hun grootste succes behaalden ze vorig seizoen door de Nederlandse beker te winnen onder leiding van Ron Jans (ex-trainer Standard) in een kolkende finale tegen Ajax Amsterdam met 5-1! Benieuwd of hun U11 ook zo kan verrassen op ons tornooi bij hun debuut... Ook de Nederlandse 2e Nationale (Jupiler League) is dit jaar opnieuw sterk vertegenwoordigd met 3 clubs. De eerste is een club die we eerder al eens te gast hadden, nl. VVV Venlo. De club met de vele V's in hun naam staat voor 'Venlose Voetbal Vereniging Venlo'. Na de degradatie 2 jaar geleden uit de Eredivisie komen ze nu uit op het 2e niveau. Enkele jaren geleden was Glen de Boeck daar nog aan de slag als Hoofdtrainer, toen nog in de hoogste afdeling. Van tegen de Duitse grens (200km) komen zij richting Oost-Vlaanderen met hun U9-team
Uit het Oosten van Nederland, uit de stad Doetinchem, hebben we dit jaar ook voor het eerst De Graafschap te gast. Zij overbruggen de afstand van 275 km met maar liefst 3 teams! Ze gaan de strijd aan met 1 ploeg U10 & 2 ploegen U11. Deze 'liftploeg' heeft de voorbije 10 seizoen liefst 7 keer en degradatie of promotie meegemaakt. Je zal in Nederland op hoog niveau moeilijk een andere club vinden die zoveel verdriet en vreugde te verwerken heeft gekregen het laatste decennium...! Uit Nederlands Limburg, pal op de Duitse grens, komt opnieuw en debutant afgezakt naar ons tornooi. Fortuna Sittard zal aanwezig zijn met hun U11 lichting. Tot net na de eeuwwisseling was deze club 20 seizoenen bijna onafgebroken aanwezig in de Eredivisie. Nadien heeft de club door financiële problemen en stap terug moeten zetten en komen ze nu al meer dan 10 jaar uit op het 2e niveau. Als bekende ex-speler hebben ze Mark Van Bommel en als ex-trainer hadden ze ooit ex-bondscoach Bert Van Marwijk... RKVV Westlandia uit Naaldwijk, een gemeente in de buurt van Den Haag komt als sterke amateurvereniging (Hoofdklasse, bij ons 4e Nationale) naar ons tornooi. Benieuwd of ze met hun U11-team de voet kunnen zetten naast de jeugdopleidingen van al de profclubs... De club beschikt over 9 teams U10/U11. Ongetwijfeld kunnen ze daar en sterk elftal mee in lijn brengen...! Door het laattijdige forfait van de U9 van R. Antwerp FC hebben we uit ons Kwalificatietornooi het Nederlandse ASV Fortius Amsterdam opgevist en hen de kans gegeven om direct deel te nemen aan ons 5e Int. Hoofdtornooi. Benieuwd of ze hun mannetje zullen kunnen staan als amateurvereniging tussen al deze profclubs...?!? Duitsland: De Duitste amateurclub FC Brünninghausen, gelegen in een voorstad van Dortmund, beschikt over een zeer getalenteerde lichting U11 die in het verleden reeds op menig buitenlands tornooi hoge ogen wist te gooien. Deze club geld als de kweekvijver voor het grote Borussia Dortmund en werkt voor hen als satellietclub. Hun eerste elftal speelt moemnteel in de 'Westfalenliga' Zij zijn voor het eerst aanwezig op onze velden. Benieuwd of ze hun reputatie ook bij ons alle eer weten aan te doen...
Ook uit Duitsland hebben enkele teams te gast. Het Duitse FC Viktoria Köln 1904 komt voor het 2e jaar op rij naar onze velden. Vorig jaar waren ze aanwezig met hun U8. Dit is blijkbaar zo goed meegevallen (ze schreven als een van de eerste teams in), want nu zijn ze aanwezig met hetzelfde ploegje, maar dan wel en jaar ouder (U9)... Tijdens de vorige editie eindigden ze op een mooie 11e plaats op 32 deelnemers. Benieuwd of ze nu nog beter kunnen doen! Vorig jaar promoveerde deze club via de kampioenstitel uit de 'Oberliga' naar de 'Regionalliga West' (onze 4e Nationale). In deze Regionalliga spelen zij thuis bijna altijd voor 9000 toeschouwers...! Frankrijk: Eén van de paradepaardjes dit jaar op ons tornooi is het sterke OSC Lille. Wij zijn dan ook fier dat we erin geslaagd zijn om deze 'Europese topclub' te kunnen strikken voor onze 5e editie. Zij komen naar ons tornooi met hun U10- lichting. Zij gelden al geruime tijd als dé kweekvijver voor het talent van de Franse Ligue 1. Zij worden in binnen en buitenland geroemd voor hun zéér sterke opleidingsacademie. Ook onze Belgische toppers Heden Hazard & Divock Origi hebben een del van hun opleiding genoten in dit gerenomeerde opleidingsinstituut... Het eerste elftal werd al 3x Frans kampioen en wist al 6 keer de Franse beker te bemachtigen Uit dezelfde regio maar op een iets lager niveau (Championnat National, te vergelijken met onze 3e Nationale) is het Franse USL Dunkerque voor het 2e jaar op rij te gast. De afstand tussen onze velden en het Franse grensstadje bedraagt slecht 140km. In een iets verder verleden tussen de jaren '65 & '95 speelde de club 30 seizoenen onafgebroken in de Franse 2e Nationale. Nadien kende de club een turbulente geschiedenis met zelfs een degradatie tot op het 5e niveau! In 2013 lukte de club er opnieuw in om te stijgen naar de 3e afdeling. Vorig jaar waren ze aanwezig met 2 ploegen, maar nu steken ze de grens over met een ploeg in élke lichting. Vorig jaar behaalden ze mooie resultaten met een 8e & een 9e plaats op 32 deelnemers. benieuwd of ze zich nu opnieuw staande weten te houden tussen het sterke deelnemersveld...
Voor het eerst hebben we 2 Franse clubs uit Parijs te gast. De eerste debutant is RC Joinville Paris. Zij overbruggen de trip van 325km met hun U9-team. De club komt uit in één van de hoogste amateurniveau's van Frankrijk, maar zouden wél over en sterke jeugdopleiding beschikken. Benieuwd of ze dit ook op ons tornooi kunnen laten zien. COM Bagneux Paris is de 2e club uit de Franse hoofdstad die voor het eerst aanwezig is op ons tornooi. Ze beschikken over een hel sterk U11-team die de voorbije jaren op meerdere internationale tornooi hoge ogen gegooid heeft tegen Europese topclubs. benieuwd of ze deze mooie adelbrieven ook bij ons kunnen bevestigen... Engeland: Dit jaar hebben we al voor het 3e jaar op rij een Engelse vertegenwoordiger te gast. Gillingham FC steekt net zoals vorig jaar opnieuw het kanaal over, maar zal nu aanwezig zijn met 2 teams (U10 & U11) nadat ze vorig jaar zéér enthousiast waren over hun deelname. Gillingham is een stad uit het graafschap Kent ten westen van London. De club komt nu uit in de 'League One' of het 3 e niveau van het Engelse voetbal. Tussen 2000 & 2003 speelde het zelfs 3 seizoenen in de Engelse 2e Nationale of 'The Championship'. Nadien zakten ze terug tot het 4 e en laatste 'professionele niveau' om daar twee jaar geleden opnieuw uit te promoveren naar hun huidige niveau. Hun stadion beschikt over een capaciteit van 12.000 zitplaatsen Naast Gillingham FC hebben we dit jaar zelfs een 2e club uit het professionele Engelse voetbal te gast... en wat voor een! Reading FC kwam in het seizoen 2012-2013 zelfs een jaar uit op het hoogste niveau, nl. de Premier League... Na de degradatie komen ze nu uit in 'The Championchip' of het 2e niveau. Deze club uit het Zuid-Oosten van Engeland is de club die de grootste afstand moet overbruggen van al onze deelnemers, nl 410km. Zij zullen voor het eerst aanwezig zijn met hun U10 & U11-lichting. Benieuwd of ze hun status en bijnaam, The Royals' ook op het veld kunnen waarmaken...!
Luxemburg: Met F91 Dudelange hebben we de Luxemburgse topploeg, die van de laatste zeven seizoenen liefst 6 keer nationaal kampioen werd (!), opnieuw op onze velden. Zij slaagden er vorig seizoen zelfs in om de 3e voorronde van de Champions League te bereiken na in de 2e ronde het Oostenrijkse Red Bull Salzburg eruit te spelen! Deze Luxemburgse club zal met een groot aantal spelers aanwezig zijn, want ze zakken af richting Denderleeuw met hun U9, U10 & U11- team. Ook dit jaar hebben we een 2e club uit het Groot hertogdom binnen ons deelnemersveld. FC Erpeldange 72 zal ook mee strijden naar een mooie plaats binnen de U11-categorie. Deze club, gelegen in het Noord-Oosten van ons kleine buurland, maakt deel uit van de gemeente Erpeldange in het kanton Diekirch. Momenteel komen ze uit in de Promotion D'Honneur of de 2e Nationale van Luxemburg. België Opnieuw zijn we er in gelukt om het beste voetbaltalent uit België op ons 5e Internationaal tornooi te krijgen. Voor de komende editie (mei 2015) zullen er opnieuw 12 van de 16 ploegen uit eerste nationale aanwezig zijn op onze voetbalvelden. Ook uit de 2e Nationale hebben we nagenoeg alle sterke jeugdopleidingen te gast. RWDM Brussels, FC Antwerp, KSV Roeselare, FC Tubize, E.
