CKT is een familiebedrijf dat al sinds het begin van de jaren negentig actief is in de Taiwanese fietsindustrie en dat sinds 2001 frames in koolstofvezel maakt. Kuang- Tsan Chiang, de president van CKT, is een van s werelds beste ontwerpers van koolstofvezelfietsen. Zijn frames hebben in de loop der jaren een sterke reputatie opgebouwd door hun betrouwbaarheid en uniek design. Er is de jongste jaren een wildgroei aan producenten van koolstof-vezelfietsen, waardoor sommige constructeurs nogal creatief met de regels omspringen om aan de vraag van hun klanten te voldoen. Heel vaak worden er lagen kunststof en glasvezel gebruikt om de productiekosten zo laag mogelijk te houden. Combineer dat met de groeiende populariteit van frames lichter dan 1 kg en u begrijpt waarom sommige frames zelfs in geheel normale omstandigheden breken. CKT onderscheidt zich door een heel andere benadering voor de productie van frames in koolstofvezel. CKT pocht niet over het aantal lagen koolstof dat wordt gebruikt. Want als je het frame op de correcte manier bouwt, heeft dat weinig belang. M. Chiang is ervan overtuigd dat het gebruik van hoogwaardige koolstofvezel en de correcte plaatsing van elke koolstoflaag de voornaamste ingrediënten zijn van een hoogwaardig frame. In tegenstelling tot de meeste andere merken op de markt, die beweren gemaakt te worden waar de onderneming is gevestigd, is CKT trots dat de frames in Taiwan worden gemaakt. Alle zelfdragende CKT-frames worden door bekwame en ervaren technici gemaakt volgens een geheim procedé en in werkomstandigheden die de meeste Europeanen zouden benijden. CKT TECHNOLOGIES The concealed seat post fixing system is used for CKT-589 SSP (standard seat post) frame set, and it s exquisite design for CKT s frame. This characteristic can strengthen the completed image of the appearance. The monocoque design is the integrated design for CKT frame set. It can strengthen the whole frame structure and retain the stability for the riders. CKT internal cable is installed from the head tube to the drop-out. In frame structure, this design is a difficult technique, and it can reduce the aerodynamics and increase the stability. CKT inserted V-Brake is one of the integrated design for CKT frame set. This inserted design can narrow down the aerodynamics and keep the cycling unhindered.
