3 CONCENTRATIE EN COMMUNICATIE CONCENTRATION AND COMMUNICATION Wanneer een kantoor bestaat uit een open- of half open layout, zijn concentratie- en/of privé werkplekken des te meer van belang voor efficiëntie tijdens de werkzaamheden. The development of Universal Screens is the consistent response to the growing importance of a system that can be fixed simply to a desk or cabinet system. 11 KIRON KASTEN EN UNIVERSAL SCREENS KIRON STORAGE AND UNIVERSAL SCREENS Met Kiron kasten word de werkplek op basis van opbergruimte onderdeel van het bureau. Ook hier kunnen schermen geplaatst worden die op eenvoudige wijze voor privacy en concentratie zorgen, zonder de communicatie te hinderen. With Kiron Storage, the storage space in the vicinity of the workplace becomes an organisational component of the general office layout. 13 HEXAGON EN UNIVERSAL SCREENS HEXAGON AND UNIVERSAL SCREENS Het bureausysteem Hexagon dankt zijn naam aan het zeshoekige, centrale element in het onzichtbare frame aan de onderzijde van het bureaublad. Middels speciale adapters, welke direct aan het frame of aan het bureaublad bevestigd worden, kunnen zichtschotten in verschillende afmetingen en materialen bevestigd worden. The Hexagon desk system takes its name from the central, six-sided unit incorporated in the invisible support structure located beneath the desktop. Special adaptors allow privacy screens to be attached directly to the support structure or desktop, available with a wide variety of dimensions and choice of materials. 13
