2 Determines the composition and volume of biogas, sewer gas and landfill gas All plant operators producing electricity from biogas, sewer gas or landfill gas aim to optimise processes and thus ensure greater efficiency in other words, obtain as much methane as possible. At the same time, however, harmful components in the gas need to be kept to a minimum. Only constant monitoring of the gas composition in a plant can indicate changes before it is too late and thereby prevent prolonged outages. For example, if there is a warning of too much sulphur at the measurement location before the motor, the operator can act immediately to stop the motor from being destroyed. If the power generation is subsidised, the plant operator must regularly document the gas composition and volume. The can reliably and sustainably handle all these tasks, though dirt, deposits, moisture, corrosion and fluctuating gas compositions still pose a major challenge. 3 One system for stationary and mobile measurements The is a combined measuring device consisting of the fixed installation and a mobile gas measuring device, namely the Multitec 540. Depending on the version of, the gas composition and volume can be automatically measured and monitored at up to eight measurement locations. The Multitec 540 measures the values at the individual measurement locations sequentially. The values are transferred to the via an interface. The mobile gas measuring device must be regularly maintained to guarantee accurate measuring results. The allows easy maintenance for the versions with four and eight measurement locations as standard, with automatic calibration and adjustment with test gas. The fixed installation is non-wearing and low maintenance. All that is required is a regular check for dirt on the flow rate and temperature sensor and cleaning if necessary. This can be done in a few minutes whilst measuring. The mobile Multitec 540 gas measuring device can be easily sent in for servicing. A spare device prevents disruption to operation. Mobile measurements Individual measuring locations can also be set up for mobile, i.e. manual measurement if preferred. The Multitec 540 is simply taken out of the docking station for the measurement. When it is replaced in the docking station following a mobile measurement, the stored logs are transferred to the and displayed. Mobile measurements allow you to integrate even remote outdoor measuring points reliably and cost-effectively in the system. 4 Multitec 540 as a mobile gas measuring device The Multitec 540 is a gas measuring device for monitoring gas mixtures that are formed in biological processes. It can measure the concentration of up to five gases in the gas mixture simultaneously. The device is fitted with infrared sensors for measuring methane and carbon dioxide as standard. It can also be fitted with electrochemical sensors. The use of infrared measuring technology for methane and carbon dioxide eliminates erroneous results caused by interaction with other gases. The Multitec 540 is, therefore, ideal for use in biogas plants as well as waste disposal sites and sewage plants. A large screen allows all parameters to be displayed simultaneously and quickly read off at a glance. Het kalibratielaboratorium van EURO-INDEX beschikt sinds 21 augustus 1997 over een RvA accreditatie naar NEN-EN-ISO/IEC Deze accreditatie geldt voor verschillende grootheden, zoals gespecificeerd in de scope bij accreditatienummer K105 op Test- en meetinstrumenten voor grootheden die deel uitmaken van de gespecificeerde scope, kunnen worden voorzien van een RvA kalibratiecertificaat. De metingen worden uitgevoerd met standaarden waarvan de herleidbaarheid naar (inter)nationale standaarden, ten overstaan van de Raad voor Accreditatie, is aangetoond. In het Multilateral Agreement zijn de meeste Europese landen overeengekomen elkaars accreditaties te accepteren. Hierdoor is een RvA kalibratiecertificaat internationaal geaccepteerd. Bovendien wordt op een RvA kalibratiecertificaat de meetonzekerheid van de gerapporteerde meetresultaten vermeld. Verhuur van meetinstrumenten...
