5 Notatie - Notation Algemeen - General remarks Dynamieken - Dynamics Dynamieken zijn steeds absoluut genoteerd. Dat betekent bijvoorbeeld dat bij luit en iano even luid zijn als klinkend resultaat. Ook wanneer de "hotelsordine" bij de strijkers gebruikt wordt, is de dynamiek absoluut genoteerd! Dynamics are always notated absolutely. For examle, it means that by lute is as loud as by iano. Also when the "hotelsordine" is used in the string arts, the dynamics are notated absolutely. Crescendo uit stilte - Decrescendo tot stilte Crescendo rom silence - Decrescendo to silence Heel vaak wordt er gewerkt met overgebonden noten. Dit dient enkel en alleen ter verduidelijking van waar recies de dynamische o andere aanduiding begint o eindigt. Het neergeschreven ritme moet dus zeker niet gehoord worden. Sot luttertonguing, i ossible only with the throat. Zogenaamde "timbre"triller o ook soms verkeerdelijk "bisbigliando" genaamd. Kleine wijzigingen o vlak van intonatie zijn mogelijk en worden zels aangeraden. Normale triller Normal trill Vaak verschijnt bij (kleur)trillers de omschrijving "trillo calmo" o "bisbigliando calmo". Dit betekent dat de (kleur)triller o een rustige, natuurlijke manier kan geseeld worden, met een logische evolutie binnenin de rasering. By trills and bisbigliandi oten aears "trillo calmo" or "bisbigliando calmo". This means that the trill/bisbigliando should be layed on a natural, calm way, with a logical evolution in the given context or hrasing. So called "timbral trill", "trille de sonorité" or sometimes also called "bisbigliando". Little dierences concerning the intonation are ossible and are even advised. 6 Klarinet - Clarinet Breath Tone (): seel noot en voeg lucht toe. Er zijn twee onderverdelingen gemaakt: "(normal) breath tone" en "very breathy" (V.). Deze twee aanwijzingen kunnen o andere manieren uitgevoerd worden. "(Normal) breath tone" wordt verkregen door een verminderde lisanning; "very breathy" wordt verkregen door ook lucht langs de mondhoeken te laten ontsnaen. Belangrijk voor het volledige werk is dat het selen met de lucht steeds samenhangt met de evolutie van de muzikale zinnen. De hoeveelheid lucht kan en mag dus variëren om o die manier een betere samenhang van het muzikale materiaal te bekomen. Breaht Tone (): lay note and add breath. There are two subdivisions: "(normal) breath tone" and "very breathy" (V.). This two instructions can be layed in other ways. "(Normal) breath tone" is obtained by a reduced li-ressure, "very breathy" is obtained by breath, escaing through the corners o the mouth. It is imortant to know or the whole iece that laying with breath is always associated with the evolution o the musical hrasings. The amount o breath can vary to obtain a better coherence o the musical material. Sla tongue T.S. Toneless sound. This notes are toneless sounds o blowing with rescribed ingerigs through which the degree o brightness o the air-sound is dierentiated. New Directions or Clarinet, The Scarecrow Press Percussie - Percussion Vibraoon - Vibrahone Wat de te gebruiken mallets betret, zijn geen seciieke aanwijzingen gegeven. De uitvoerder kan zel beslissen welke mallets het meest geschikt zijn om beaalde assages te selen. Daarvoor moeten de dynamiek en andere aanwijzingen natuurlijk aandachtig gevolgd worden. There are no seciic indications about which mallets should be used. The erormer can decide hersel/himsel which mallets are the best otion to lay a certain assage. O course, the dynamic and other notations should be ollowed very attentively. Eén ander onderscheid wordt nog gemaakt /One other division is made: Arco: Seel met een (contrabas)strijkstok. (let edal) - Sost. or S.P. (middle edal) Catch sound m betekent dat de dynamiek van de catch sound m moet zijn. De dynamiek beaalt dus wanneer de edaal moet ingedrukt worden (en niet de notatie!). Catch sound m indicates that the dynamic o the catch sound should be m. The dynamic ixes the oint o ressing the edal. (and not the notation!) Ademen van de snaren. De snaren worden stevig agedemt achter de demer. Muting the strings. The strings are muted very strongly ater the damers. Octaaharmoniek. Een hand raakt lichtjes de snaar o de laats van de octaaharmoniek. De andere hand seelt de noot. Octave harmonic. One hand touches slightly the string at the lace o the octave harmonic. The other hand lays the note. Bring out the octave harmonic. Pizzicato (in de snaren) Pizzicato (on the strings) Toetsen geluidsloos indrukken. Deress the keys silently. Strijkers - Strings Gebruikte akortingen - Used abbreviations: : molto sul tasto : sul tasto P: oco sul tasto : ordinario P: oco sul onticello : sul onticello M: molto sul onticello Belangrijk: legatobogen in de artijen van de strijkers zijn niet gelijk aan boogstreken. De muzikant kan zel de boogstreken kiezen. Imortant: legato-bowings in the arts o the strings are not the same as bowings. The musician can choose himsel/hersel the best bowings. lautando: De boog beweegt zich sneller en lichter over de snaar. Flautando is hier gelijk aan lichte boogdruk. lautando: The bow moves aster and lighter. Flautando is used as "less bow ressure". Hotelsordine: een zogenaamde "oeensordine", zeer stevig en waarvan de klank enorm wordt gedemt. Hotelsordine: so called "exercice mute", very heavy and the sound is damed really a lot. Sordine: normale, gebruikelijke sordine Sordine: normal, common mute (I) (II) (III) (IV): nummer van de te beselen snaar (I is bovenste snaar, IV is onderste snaar) - number o the string which has to be layed (I is the uer string, IV is the bottom string) : met het houten gedeelte van de boog - with the wooden rame o the bow 1/2 1/2 crini: deels met het hout deels met de haren van de boog - artly with the wooden rame o the bow, artly with the hair o the bow. Triller met harmoniek Trill with harmonics Triller tussen twee harmonieken Trill o two harmonics Tremolo: steeds zo snel mogelijk (ook in trage temi) Tremolo: always as ast as ossible (also in slow temi) Bartokizz. Ricochet: Het aantal herhalingen en de snelheid ervan zijn vrij te bealen, maar het geheel mag de totale duur van de notengroe niet overschrijden. Ricochet: The number and seed o unorced bounces are ree, but are not to exceed the total duration o the note grou. Boogvibrato: "intensiteitstrillingen" (druk + snelheid) die hoorbaar en vlug zijn (wel minder vlug dan een gewone tremolo) met zeer trage boogwissels;creëer een subtiele golvende sonoriteit. Bow vibrato: Oscillations o intensity (ressure + seed) that are audible and raid (but less raid than the normal tremolo) with very slow changes; create a subtly undulating sonority.
