Châtillon sur Loire ligt op 150km van Parijs en 7km van Briare. De naam is afkomstig van Castillo, een klein fort dat in de 10 e eeuw op de heuvel werd gebouwd waar nu de kerk staat. Gedurende de Middeleeuwen werd er in de stad gevochten door de abdij van Fleury en het Hof van Sancerre. Met zijn sterke protestantse beweging werd de stad zeven keer aangevallen en belegerd in de 16 e eeuw. De basis is gesloten van 12.30 14.00uur en op zondagen. Overdracht boot bij vertraging huurder Indien u later dan 18.00 uur aankomt, neem dan contact op met ons personeel in de vertrekhaven. Er worden instructies voor u achtergelaten. Uw boot is open en beschikt over warm water zodat u de eerste nacht aan boord kunt doorbrengen. De volgende ochtend komt er iemand langs voor de officiële overdracht. Na deze overdracht kunt u de basis verlaten en beginnen aan uw vaarvakantie.
