1 1 1 1 Fundamental Experiments on Effects of Games in Rest Time between Learning MASAKAZU TAKEUE 1 KENICHI TAKAHASHI 1 MICHIMASA INABA 1 In e-learning, learners can study at their own pace and at any place where an internet connection is available. However, users often lose their motivation for learning during the process of study. In this research, we employ games as one of ways to refresh learners during learning. Experiments are conducted to evaluate the effect of playing games during the rest time between learning. In the experiments, participants are separated into three groups: one group plays a busy game, one plays a calm game, and one plays nothing in the rest time. Then, they are asked to solve numerical problems as many as possible in a predetermined time.
