1 Express 2 VPS afdrukmaterialen NIEUW Express 2 afdrukmaterialen zijn gebaseerd op een nieuwe VPS formule. In verschillende viscositeiten, van putty tot ultra light body, biedt Express 2 essentiële voordelen voor de 1- staps en 2-staps techniek. De nieuwe formule zorgt voor een grote uitrekbaarheid en hoge treksterkte om het risico van scheuren en vervorming tijdens het uitnemen van de lepel te voorkomen. Het herstelvermogen van het materiaal na vervorming is bijna 100%. De nieuwe Express 2 Light bodies laten een hoge hydrofiliteit zien en bezitten uitstekende vloei-eigenschappen. Alle Express 2 lepelmaterialen worden automatisch gemengd in het Pentamix 2 apparaat. De perfecte balans van klinisch relevante eigenschappen De ontwikkeling van Express 2 VPS afdrukmaterialen is gebaseerd op klinisch relevante eigenschappen, die voor een afdrukmateriaal van essentieel belang zijn om betrouwbaarheid en nauwkeurigheid in klinisch moeilijke omstandigheden te kunnen waarborgen. In deze compilatie van klinisch belangrijke eigenschappen laat Express 2 Light Body Standaard (groen) een overtuigende balans zien van eigenschappen. Het is het enige materiaal dat in alle 5 de categorieën goed presteert. Waarden op een schaal van 1=slecht tot 10=excellent zijn gegeven voor iedere eigenschap (Hydrofiliciteit gemeten d.m.v. de contacthoek op uitgehard materiaal na 2 seconden). 1

2 Verbeterde hydrofiliteit en vloei-eigenschappen Om alle details, inclusief de preparatierand, van een geprepareerd element vast te leggen zijn de hydrofiliteit en vloeibaarheid van het afdrukmateriaal van essentieel belang. De verbeterde hydrofiliteit van Express 2 VPS afdrukmateriaal draagt bij aan een goede detail-reproductie, zelfs in vochtige omstandigheden. Geen vervormingen en scheuren Om tijdens het uitnemen van de lepel het risico van scheuren te voorkomen, moet een afdrukmateriaal niet alleen een hoge treksterkte hebben, maar ook een hoge uitrekbaarheid. Net zoals bij een bungee jumper moet het materiaal goed kunnen uitrekken, maar het mag niet scheuren. De combinatie van deze twee parameters wordt toughness genoemd. In onderstaande grafiek is te zien dat Express 2 Light Body Standaard de hoogste waarde heeft, dat wil zeggen dat Express 2 materialen minder kans hebben om te scheuren dan andere VPS materialen. Bron: 3M ESPE intere data Groot herstelvermogen na vervorming Precisie afdrukmaterialen voldoen allemaal aan de minimum eis van 96,5% (ISO test) voor het herstelvermogen na samendrukking. De materialen laten zelfs resultaten van meer dan 99% zien. Maar wat is het herstelvermogen na uitrekking? Dit is namelijk belangrijk als er sprake is van een diepe sulcus, ondersnijdingen en inter-proximale ruimtes. De resultaten van een interne test van 3M ESPE laten zien dat het herstelvermogen van Expess 2 bijna 100% is na een uitrekking van 150%.
