3 Wat is Wat is It originates from China. After WW II the United States became the dominant soy producer and exporter. Wat is Wat is Starting in the 1960 s, production in South America expanded to meet European and, in recent years, Asian demand. After an explosive growth South America now supplies 55% of world production. This satellite image shows a 25,000 hectare soy field in Urucuí, Northeast Brazil. The fields are clustered around a Bunge soy crushing plant.
