6 6 Verwonderen Tas ontworpen met als inspiratie op de fantasie en verwondering van kinderen.

7 7 CNC Concept meubel gemaakt door de cnc met een demontabele verbinding.

8 8 Eettafel Eettafel ontwerp voor een klant met een minimalistisch interieur. Onderleiding van Dave Keune.

9 Prullenbak Schetsen en schaalmodellen zoekende naar een mooi goed design voor een prullenbak. De prullenbak heeft minsten drie verschillende vakken waar verschillende soorten afval in gescheiden kan worden. 9

10 Droom huis Eigen droomhuis vormgegeven waarin binnen en buiten een grote rol speelt. 10

11 Nepal Schoolbankjes gemaakt in Nepal met Stichting Vliegende Meubelmakers. Een maand lang hard gewerkt met 10 vrijwilligers in het door aardbevingen getroffen gebied. 11

12 Excellentie Eén van de 11 studenten van excellentie programma. Een extra uitbreiding naast de opleiding, waarin we gastlessen krijgen, workshops over nieuwe technieken en ondernemerschap. 14 Vero metaal Gewerkt met Vero metaal tijdens mijn stage bij Art and Metal. Verschillende aanbreng en polijst technieken. Zelf geëxperimenteerd. 14

15 One euro assignment Tea infuser Poorly Designed At first sight the tea infuser looks like a practical tool. You can fill it with tea leaves and put it into a teapot or a tea cup. Though it is not as handy as one would have thought. The tea leaves pass easily through the sieve during the infusion. The two sides of the sieve clasp do not close properly. A small gap occurs and the tea leaves fall out. Improvement: Rubberized rim that improves the seal between the two sides of the tea infuser. Bicycle LED light Well Designed Not the most sexy looking bicycle light, but highly functional and practical in Dutch weather It is an effective product that can easily be put into position and removed. The light has a well-sealed plastic sleeve covered with a silicone sheet. This silicone sheet serves two functions: (1) Thanks to its form you can attach the LED light to your bicycle (2) It protects the LED light and battery against knocks and water damage. 15

16 Behavior The home assignment I chose for my application is about the irritating behavior of people using cell phones when in a face to face conversation with others. The relationship between people is broken because the cell phone gets in the way, buzzing, pinging, shaking, and then the owner talking to it in preference to the immediate human connection. Questions I asked myself about this are: Can we stop the urge to reach for your phone? Why do we expect people to answer in a second with each message? What are we running away from? Real life? Even when we are together? Do we thrive for more online attention instead of having someone close? What have we become? And why do I participate in this behavior? Solving ideas: - Table or room with a magnetic field that blockes all signals. - A room which you can only enter without your phone, that has to be placed in a locker outside. - Nice restaurant with walls covered LED-lights, a nice atmosphere that reacts on the activity of people who are using their mobile phone. When someone checks their phone a piece of this beautiful surrounding fades. - A public place were all the incoming and outgoing messages are projected on the walls. 16
