3 Suriname bestaat voor 90 % uit oerwoud dat maar 2% bijdraagt aan het B.N.P. van het land. Het FSDF is een milieu. Conclusie: Het verhogen van de inkomsten uit de niet-houtkap voor Suriname is voor de wereld van belang.

4 Doelstelling Stelt zich ten doel het zich binnen haar invloedsfeer bevindende gedeelte van het Surinaamse Ecosysteem in al zijn facetten, o.a. biodiversiteit en sociaal culturele waarden inheemse en Marron bevolkingsgroepen te conserveren in de huidige staat. Uitgangspunt hierbij is het door de NSA omarmde Model Bosmanagement. Binnen de huidige invloed sfeer van het fonds is momenteel verkregen een gebied van ongeveer groot ha in het Zuid Westelijk gedeelte van Suriname. Invloed sfeer FSDF

5 Stelt zich ten doel het welzijn, in de ruimste zin, van individu en gemeenschap in Suriname te bevorderen. 6 De stichting gelooft dat er een basis gecreerd moet worden voor het financieren van activiteiten ten behoeve van milieu bescherming en verhogen van de welvaart en welzijn van de bevolking in algemene zin.

7 Het fonds werft en beheert met het oogmerk van haar doelstellingen: Kapitaal door High Net Worth Individuals beschikbaar gesteld: Donaties; Diverse kapitaalkrachtige en niet-kapitaal krachtige wereldburgers stellen onder voorwaarden kapitaal ter beschikking. Autonoom gegenereerde fondsen: Asset management; Het fonds genereert middels risico averse activiteiten zelfstandig inkomsten om de doelstellingen te realiseren Fondsen afkomstig uit EcoBioAdoptie: Op basis van de onder haar invloed sfeer bevindende gebieden worden vanuit diverse specifieke programma s inkomsten gegenereerd om het behoud van het bestaande Ecosysteem te realiseren. Programma s zijn ontwikkeld voor: Partiële Adoptie van grotere bomen; Partiele Adoptie van ecobiologische projecten in de lokale inheemse biotoop;

8 Het fonds belegt of investeert alleen in bedrijven, organisaties en projecten die de samenleving duurzamer maken: Sociaal Cultureel Groen Economisch FSDF selecteert uit projecten die worden voorgedragen door: FSDG; NGO s; Overheden; FSDF voert zelf niet uit maar ondersteund in financiële middelen en know-how; Na doorlopen van de beoordelingsfase en finale goedkeuring zijn er diverse opties: Investeren Financieren Doneren Combinaties
