6 1. Algemene beschrijving & technische gegevens 1.1. Leveringsomvang In de verpakking treft u de volgende zaken aan: - Manual - Falcon D1000 display - Aansluit connectoren voor voeding en NMEA Controleer of de bovengenoemde items allemaal aanwezig zijn. Wanneer een van deze items ontbreekt adviseren wij u direct contact op te nemen met uw verkooppunt. Lees voor het installeren van de D1000 deze manual aandachtig door. 7 1.3. Algemene beschrijving Het Falcon D1000 display is een multifunctioneel display waarin de software zit voor diverse navigatie instrumenten ten behoeve van de commerciële scheepvaart. De volgende sensorpagina s zullen standaard in een D1000 geprogrammeerd zitten bij levering: - F-100 Roerstand aangever. - F-120 Diepte meter. - F-130 Windsensor. - F-300 Bochtsnelheid sensor. - F-345 Kompas. - F-500 Piloot. In de toekomst is het mogelijk dat er meerdere functies zijn toegevoegd aan de standaard leveringsomvang. Verder beschikt de D1000 over een zestal capacitieve toetsen, waarvan één vaste aan/uit toets. De andere toetsen veranderen van functie naar gelang welke functionaliteit u kiest voor het display. Alle bediening van het instrument zal via deze toetsen worden gedaan. De Falcon D1000 is op twee manieren aan te sluiten binnen een navigatie installatie aan boord van het schip. Zo kan op het zichtinstrument rechtstreeks één van de Radio Zeeland DMP sensoren worden aangesloten, deze zal dan de informatie van de aangesloten sensor doorgeven aan het eventueel aanwezige netwerk. Ofwel kunnen deze sensoren via een MultiHUB in een netwerkconfiguratie worden aangesloten. Wanneer u gebruik maakt van de configuratie via een netwerkopstelling dan is het mogelijk om elke, in het netwerk aangesloten sensor, weer te geven op het display. Tevens beschikt de Falcon D1000 over de mogelijkheid om meerdere kleurenpaletten te kiezen. Het Falcon display beschikt ook over de mogelijkheid om dimgroepen aan te maken en middels hiermee meerdere displays tegelijk te laten dimmen. Ook zal er een alarmmelding worden weergegeven en klinkt er een audiosignaal wanneer er enige foutieve, of geen informatie van de ingestelde sensor wordt ontvangen. Zo zult u in het display de melding NO DATA te zien krijgen en zal de indicatie LED rood gaan knipperen. Deze meldingen worden ook gegeven wanneer een van de MultiHUB s defect is. U krijgt in dat geval een melding te zien waarin het IP-adres van de betreffende MultiHUB te zien is, inclusief de aard van de fout. Wanneer u een foutmelding van een MultiHUB te zien krijgt is het van groot belang dat u zo spoedig mogelijk contact opneemt met uw leverancier. Page 7 of 56 Subject: D1000 Falcon Display - Manual

8 2. Installatie voorschrift 2.1. Montage De Falcon D1000 dient op een, voor de gebruiker, duidelijke en makkelijke plaats te worden gemonteerd. Plaats het display dusdanig dat de gebruiker, vanuit de werkpositie, in een rechte lijn op het scherm kan kijken. Tevens dient u er zorg voor te dragen dat ongewenste lichtinval op de display zo veel mogelijk wordt tegen gegaan. Bij montage is het belangrijk dat u er voor zorgt dat de inbouwdiepte voldoende is. Dit in verband met de bekabeling aan de achterzijde van het apparaat. Ook dient u er voor te zorgen dat er een goede trekontlasting is voor de aangesloten bekabeling. Opdat er geen ongewenste trekkrachten op de connectoren en bekabeling komt te staan. Controleer ten alle tijden de borgclip van uw RJ-45 aansluiting, wanneer u de D1000 gebruikt in een netwerkopstelling. Page 8 of 56 Subject: D1000 Falcon Display - Manual

9 3. Aansluitingen 3.1. Elektrische aansluitingen D1000 K1: Voeding Via deze connector sluit men de ingaande en uitgaande voeding aan op de Falcon D1000. De D1000 behoeft een voeding van 18-36V DC en stelt u in staat om deze direct door te lussen naar een volgend apparaat. K2: NMEA Middels deze aansluiting sluit u rechtstreeks één van onze sensoren aan op het zichtinstrument. Tevens kunt u hier ook de NMEA uitgang aansluiten. 10 K3: Relaiscontact Het K3 contact is een potentiaalvrij relaiscontact. Tijdens de werking van de Falcon D1000 zal dit contact geopend zijn. In alle andere gevallen is dit contact gesloten. K4: Digitale ingang Deze digitale ingang is bestemd voor toekomstige ontwikkelingen. U kunt hier nog niets op aansluiten. USB De USB aansluiting van het product wordt gebruikt tijdens de installatie van de D1000. Hierop kunt u een USB muis aansluiten. Ethernet Op de D1000 vindt u een RJ-45 Ethernet aansluiting. Deze dient voor het aansluiten van het Falcon zichtinstrument op een MultiHUB wanneer u het Falcon display aansluit in een netwerk. Seriële poort Tevens beschikt het Falcon display over een 9-polige sub D aansluiting. Deze stelt u in staat om een vorig model Radio Zeeland DMP junctionbox aan te sluiten. 11 4. Instellingen Voordat u het product volledig in gebruik kunt nemen dient u een aantal stappen te doorlopen om het display en de functionaliteit juist in te stellen. In het setup menu kunt u onderstaande wijzigingen doorvoeren, om deze op te slaan dient u na het maken van enige wijzigingen op save te drukken. Wanneer u de door u gemaakte wijzigingen kenbaar wilt maken aan de andere zichtinstrumenten in het netwerk, dient u op deploy te drukken. Indien u terug wilt keren naar de sensorpagina klikt u op ok. Tevens vindt u op deze pagina rechtsonder de softwareversie, het IP adres en de registratiecode IP Adres Wanneer u de Falcon D1000 wilt gebruiken in een netwerk configuratie dient u het zichtinstrument een uniek IP adres te geven. Dit om enige conflicten te voorkomen. Wanneer u het display voor de eerste maal aanzet zult u zien dat het IP adres standaard staat ingesteld op het volgende adres: Wij adviseren u om voor de D1000 een IP aders te kiezen welke tussen en ligt. U dient het IP adres in te stellen alvorens u de D1000 op het netwerk aansluit Taal De D1000 stelt u in staat om te kiezen tussen verschillende talen. Zo kunt u kiezen tussen Nederlands, Engels & Duits. Wanneer u één van deze talen kiest zal het gehele apparaat deze taal overnemen. Dit met uitzondering van het setup menu. Deze zal ten allen tijden in het Engels zijn Kleurpaletten Het software uiterlijk van het zichtinstrument is in te stellen op een drietal voorgeprogrammeerde kleurpaletten. U kunt kiezen tussen de volgende stijlen: Metal, Black & SIGMA. Wanneer u een van deze stijlen instelt zullen alle indicatoren weergegeven worden in de gekozen stijl, dit met uitzondering van het setup menu. Deze zal ten allen tijden een zijn vaste stijl behouden DIM groepen Het is mogelijk om verschillende D1000 zichtinstrumenten in een DIM groep aan te melden. Dit creëert de mogelijkheid om verschillende Falcon D1000 displays tegelijk te dimmen of in nachtmodus te zetten, simpelweg door het bedienen van één van de displays. U kunt maximaal 4 dimgroepen instellen Achtergrondverlichting Ook wel de toetsverlichting. U kunt middels deze functie de kleur van de toetsverlichting instellen. U kunt hiervoor uit de volgende kleuren kiezen: rood, groen, blauw, geel, paars, lichtblauw & wit. Page 11 of 56 Subject: D1000 Falcon Display - Manual

12 5. Bediening De Falcon D1000 is een multifunctioneel platform, dat wil zeggen dat er meerdere functionaliteiten schuilgaan in het zichtinstrument. De gebruiker kan via de menu toets eenvoudig schakelen tussen de verschillende functionaliteiten. Ook kun u kiezen voor een ander kleurpalet of eenvoudig de taal wijzigen. Dit alles kunt u doen door gebruik te maken van de multifunctionele toetsen onder het scherm. Op het display wordt elke functie van de toets aangegeven Falcon F-100 Roerstandgever De Falcon F-100 is de roerstand aanwijzer van de Falcon lijn. Wanneer u één of meerdere S-100 roerstand sensoren heeft aangesloten aan het Falcon netwerk kunt u deze middels deze pagina weergeven. In het setup menu kunt u aangeven of u beschikt over een enkel of dubbel roerwerk. Wanneer u beschikt over een dubbel roerwerk en twee S-100 sensoren is het mogelijk om te kiezen voor de weergave van twee roerwerk indicatoren. Opdat u beide in één scherm kunt zien. Alleen de informatie van de S-100 sensor wordt door de F-100 ondersteund. Specificatie F-100 roerstand aanwijzer: - Keuze uit één of twee roerwerken - Keuze uit meerdere schaalverdelingen, nl.: 30, 4 5, 60, 75, 90 of 360 (±180 ). - Weergave van datum en tijd informatie, dit alleen wanneer u heeft gekozen voor één roerwerk en er een NMEA-ZDA signaal in het netwerk beschikbaar is. - Het doorgeven van NMEA-RSA gegevens, dit indien een S-100 roerstandgever rechtstreeks op de D1000 aangesloten is. En de D1000 middels de netwerkaansluiting aan een MultiHUB is aangesloten. De volgende toetsen vindt u op de F-100: - On/Off/Dim, Middels deze toets kunt u de Falcon D1000 aan of uit schakelen, u dient hiervoor deze toets enkele seconden ingedrukt te houden. Wanneer kort op deze toets drukt kunt u stapsgewijs het display en de toetsverlichting dimmen. Tevens zullen alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s mee dimmen. 13 - Menu, De mentoets roept het keuzemenu op waarin u de functionaliteit van de Falcon D1000 kunt kiezen. - Nightview, Met deze sneltoets schakelt het zichtinstrument direct over naar de dag- of nachtmodus. Alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s zullen dezelfde keuze overnemen. - Reset, Via deze toets kunt u, in geval van een alarmmelding, het toestel resetten. Dit schakelt het alarmsignaal uit. Wanneer de storing niet verholpen wordt zal deze, bij het opnieuw opstarten van de D1000, opnieuw een alarmmelding geven Falcon F-120 Dieptemeter De Falcon F-120 is de dieptemeter van de Falcon lijn. Wanneer u één of meerdere S-120 dieptesensoren heeft aangesloten aan het Falcon netwerk kunt u deze middels deze pagina weergeven. In het setup menu kunt u aangeven of u beschikt over één of twee dieptesensoren, bijvoorbeeld voorschip en achterschip. Wanneer u beschikt over een tweetal S-120 dieptesensoren is het mogelijk om te kiezen voor de weergave van twee diepte indicatoren. Opdat u beide in één scherm kunt zien. Bij weergave van één sensor zal er tevens een grafische weergave zijn van de alarmdiepte instelling en het diepteverloop. Alleen de informatie van de S-120 sensor wordt door de F-120 ondersteund. Specificatie F-120 diepte meter: - Keuze uit de weergave van één of twee sensoren, wanneer u kiest voor de weergave van twee sensoren vervalt de weergave van de alarmdiepte instelling en het diepteverloop. - Keuze uit meerdere schaalverdelingen, nl: 4m of 40m. - Weergave van datum en tijd informatie, dit alleen wanneer u heeft gekozen voor één dieptemeter en er een NMEA-ZDA signaal in het netwerk beschikbaar is. - Het doorgeven van NMEA-DPT gegevens, dit indien een S-120 dieptesensor rechtstreeks op de D1000 aangesloten is. 14 De volgende toetsen vindt u op de F-120: - On/Off/Dim, Middels deze toets kunt u de Falcon D1000 aan of uit schakelen, u dient hiervoor deze toets enkele seconden ingedrukt te houden. Wanneer kort op deze toets drukt kunt u stapsgewijs het display en de toetsverlichting dimmen. Tevens zullen alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s mee dimmen. - Menu, De mentoets roept het keuzemenu op waarin u de functionaliteit van de Falcon D1000 kunt kiezen. - Nightview, Met deze sneltoets schakelt het zichtinstrument direct over naar de dag- of nachtmodus. Alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s zullen dezelfde keuze overnemen. - Reset, Via deze toets kunt u, in geval van een alarmmelding, het toestel resetten. Dit schakelt het alarmsignaal uit. Wanneer de storing niet verholpen wordt zal deze, bij het opnieuw opstarten van de D1000, opnieuw een alarmmelding geven. - Range, Deze toets stelt u in staat het gewenste meetbereik te kiezen. - Select, Wanneer u op de select toets drukt opent zich de functionaliteit om een dieptealarm in te stellen. Bij beschikbaarheid van meerdere sensoren kunt u ook kiezen voor welke sensor een diepte alarm in wilt stellen. De ingestelde alarmdiepte wordt zichtbaar als een groene stip op de rand van de schaalverdeling Falcon F-130 Windstation De Falcon F-130 is de windmeter van de Falcon lijn. Wanneer u een S-130 windsensor heeft aangesloten aan het Falcon netwerk kunt u deze middels deze pagina weergeven. Alleen de informatie van de S-130 sensor wordt door de F- 130 ondersteund. Specificatie F-130 windstation: - Weergave van windrichting, windsnelheid, buitentemperatuur en luchtdruk. - Keuze uit relatieve en werkelijke windrichting. - Keuze tussen weergave in Beaufort of meter per seconde. - Het doorgeven van NMEA-MWV gegevens, dit indien een S-130 roerstandgever rechtstreeks op de D1000 aangesloten is. 15 De volgende toetsen vindt u op de F-130: - On/Off/Dim, Middels deze toets kunt u de Falcon D1000 aan of uit schakelen, u dient hiervoor deze toets enkele seconden ingedrukt te houden. Wanneer kort op deze toets drukt kunt u stapsgewijs het display en de toetsverlichting dimmen. Tevens zullen alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s mee dimmen. - Menu, De mentoets roept het keuzemenu op waarin u de functionaliteit van de Falcon D1000 kunt kiezen. - Nightview, Met deze sneltoets schakelt het zichtinstrument direct over naar de dag- of nachtmodus. Wanneer u kiest voor de relatieve indicatie zal er een scheepsomtrek verschijnen in beeld. De S-130 windsensor beschikt over een ingebouwde GPS ontvanger en behoeft geen verdere informatie om en relatieve weergave te creëren. - Beaufort/ m/s, Hiermee kunt u kiezen tussen een weergave van de windsnelheid in Beaufort of meter per seconde Falcon F-300 Bochtsnelheid indicator De Falcon F-300 is de bochtsnelheid indicator van de Falcon lijn. Wanneer u een S-300 bochtsnelheid sensor heeft aangesloten aan het Falcon netwerk kunt u deze middels deze pagina weergeven. Alleen de informatie van de S-300 sensor wordt door de F-300 ondersteund. 16 - Weergave van bochtsnelheid in /min. - Keuze uit meerdere schaalverdelingen, nl: 30 /min, 30/90 /min, 90 /min, 90/300 /min en 300 /min. - Demping. - Het doorgeven van NMEA-ROT gegevens, dit indien een S-300 roerstandgever rechtstreeks op de D1000 aangesloten is. En de D1000 middels de netwerkaansluiting aan een MultiHUB is aangesloten. De volgende toetsen vindt u op de F-300: - On/Off/Dim, Middels deze toets kunt u de Falcon D1000 aan of uit schakelen, u dient hiervoor deze toets enkele seconden ingedrukt te houden. Wanneer kort op deze toets drukt kunt u stapsgewijs het display en de toetsverlichting dimmen. Tevens zullen alle in de dimgroep aanwezige D1000 s mee dimmen. - Menu, De mentoets roept het keuzemenu op waarin u de functionaliteit van de Falcon D1000 kunt kiezen. - Nightview, Met deze sneltoets schakelt het zichtinstrument direct over naar de dag- of nachtmodus. Wanneer men geen omschakelbaar meetbereik heeft ontbreekt deze toets. - Test, Hier vindt u de mogelijkheid om het test stuurboord en test bakboord signaal te geven en zo de S-300 op het juist functioneren te testen. 17 5.5. Falcon F-345 Kompas De Falcon F-345 is het kompas van de Falcon lijn. Wanneer u een S-345 kompas sensor heeft aangesloten aan het Falcon netwerk kunt u deze middels deze pagina weergeven. Alleen de informatie van de S-345 sensor wordt door de F-345 ondersteund. Specificatie F-345 kompas: - Weergave van koers in. - Keuze uit magnetic of werkelijke koers. - Het doorgeven van NMEA-HDG, HDT en HDM gegevens, dit indien een S-345 kompas rechtstreeks op de D1000 aangesloten is. En de D1000 middels de netwerkaansluiting aan een MultiHUB is aangesloten. De volgende toetsen vindt u op de F-345: - On/Off/Dim, Middels deze toets kunt u de Falcon D1000 aan of uit schakelen, u dient hiervoor deze toets enkele seconden ingedrukt te houden. Wanneer kort op deze toets drukt kunt u stapsgewijs het display en de toetsverlichting dimmen. 18 5.6. Falcon F-500/F-560 Piloot De Falcon F-500 en F-560 zijn zichtgedeelte van de piloot van de Falcon lijn. Deze geeft de informatie weer van de S-100 roerstandgever en S-300 bochtsnelheid indicator. Alsmede informatie over de gekozen pilootfunctie en eventuele bijbehorende alarmen. Alleen de informatie van de S-100 en S-300 sensoren worden door de F-500 en F-560 ondersteund. Specificatie F-500 en F-560: - Keuze uit meerdere schaalverdelingen roerstandgever, nl.: 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 of Keuze uit meerdere schaalverdelingen bochtsnelheid indicator, nl: 30 /min, 30/90 /min, 90 /min, 90/300 /min en 300 /m in. - Demping - Het doorgeven van NMEA-RSA, ROT, FPI en HTD gegevens, deze worden middels de bijbehorende junctionbox aan het netwerk doorgegeven. Wanneer de piloot actief is, is het niet mogelijk om het meetbereik van de S-300 bochtsnelheid indicator om te schakelen. Indien de piloot actief is wordt tevens aangeraden om de D1000 niet naar een andere functionaliteit te schakelen. Op het display van de F-500 en F-560 zullen aan de rechterzijde in het groen de gekozen actieve pilootfuncties worden weergegeven. 21 1.3. General description The Falcon D1000 unit is a multifunctional display which embeds software for various types of navigation equipment for the commercial shipping industry. The following software indicator pages will be programmed by standard in a D1000: - F-100 Rudder angle indicator. - F-120 Echo sounder. - F-130 Wind station. - F-300 Rate of turn indicator. - F-345 Compass. - F-500 Pilot. It will be possible that new models of the D1000 will embed more software indicator pages. The D1000 display houses a total of six multifunctional capacitive switches, one of them is a dedicated on/off/dim switch. The other switches will change function upon the choosing of an indicator page. All control of the D1000 will be done by these switches. There are two ways to connect the Falcon D1000 unit to your navigation installation onboard of the vessel. The D1000 can be connected directly to one of the Radio Zeeland DMP sensors, the D1000 will feed thru the NMEA signals of the connected sensor to network, if available. Or the display can be connected to a MultiHUB within a network configuration. The D1000 can display different sensors, if available within the network. The D1000 display unit allows the user to choose between multiple display styles. Within the Falcon unit lays the possibility to issue multiple dim groups, which allows the user to dim multiple displays at the touch of one button, or put them into the nightview mode. Upon loss of signal or corrupt signals from one of the sensors connected to the Falcon network, the D1000 display panel will generate an audio and visual alarm. The unit will display NO DATA and the indicator LED will be flashing red. These same signals will be issued if there is a failure of one of the MultiHUB s within the network. In that case the display will also inform you with the IP-address of the corrupt MultiHUB as well as the nature of the failure. Please contact your dealer if any of these messages occurs. 22 2. Installation instructions 2.1. Mounting instruction The Falcon D1000 display is recommended to be placed on a user friendly position. To assure a perfect line of sight upon the display, the position must be chosen so that the user can look directly at the screen. Please also position the display in such a way that the reflection of sunlight is brought to a minimum. Upon installation also consider the presence of sufficient depth within in the desk, this to ensure enough room for all the cables connected to the D1000. Make sure there is a good strain relief on the cables as well, this to ensure a good functioning of the unit. 23 3. Connections 3.1. Electrical connections D1000 K1: Power supply Thru this connection the incoming and outgoing power supply will be connected to the D1000. The D1000 needs a voltage of 18-36V DC and allows you to feed the power supply thru to a next device. K2: NMEA This connection allows you to connect one of the Radio Zeeland DMP sensors to the device. It also provides outgoing NMEA signals necessary for some sensors. 24 K3: Relays contact The K3 connector allows you to use the potential free relays contact of the D1000. During normal operation of the Falcon D1000 the contact will be opened. In all other operation states the contact will be closed. K4: Digital input The digital input is dedicated for future developments. This is not available for connection. USB The USB port of the device is used during set up of the D1000, it allows you to connect an USB Mouse. Ethernet The Ethernet connection of the device is used to connect the D1000 to a MultiHUB if the unit will be placed within a network set up. Serial port The Falcon display houses a 9-pole sub D connection, this allows the D1000 to be connected to one of the former junction boxes of Radio Zeeland DMP. 25 4. Adjustments Before complete use of the unit there has to been made some settings into the D1000, to assure the right functioning of the device. Within the setup menu below settings has to be set. To save any changes in this menu, you will have to click the save button before leaving this menu. If you would like to share the settings made in this device to other D1000 displays in the network click deploy. Once all settings has been made and you choose to return to the indicator pages choose the ok button. The setup menu also displays the current software version, IP address and registration code in the lower right corner IP Address Before usage of the Falcon D1000 in a network set up, the unit has to been given a unique IP address. This will prevent any conflicts with other devices. Upon first use of the display you will see the standard IP address: We advise you to change the IP address to another address within the range of and This setting has to be made before connecting the D1000 to the network Language There are multiple languages available for the D1000 unit. The user can switch between: Dutch, English & German. All software indicator pages will switch to the chosen language with exception of the set up menu. This will remain to be in English at all times 4.3. Color schemes The software appearance of the D1000 can be set to one of the three preprogrammed color schemes. The following schemes are available: Metal, Black & SIGMA. All software indicator pages will switch to the chosen scheme with exception of the set up menu. This will remain in it standard scheme at all times DIM groups The different DIM groups can be set by this setting. This houses the possibility to dim, or switch multiple Falcon D1000 displays to night mode by means of one button on one of the units. There can be a maximum of 4 groups Background lighting This function allows the user to choose the color of the background lighting of the six keys. 26 5. User control The Falcon D1000 is a multifunctional platform, which means there are more than one functions in the device. The user easily choose one of these functions by means of the menu key. This menu also allows the user to change the language or the color scheme of the D1000. All settings can be made by means of the six multifunctional keys below the screen. The function of the key is displayed on the screen above the corresponding key Falcon F-100 Rudder angle indicator The Falcon F-100 is the rudder angle indicator page of the Falcon Series. This page allows you to display one or more S-100 sensors, if available within the Falcon network. In the setup menu the user is allowed to choose between single or a master slave configuration of the rudder angle sensors. If you have a master slave configuration, two S-100 sensors, available. Then you are able to choose a dual view page of these sensors. So the user is able to see both rudder angle indicators on one screen. Only the S-100 sensor will be supported by the F-100 page. Specification F-100 rudder angle indicator: - Choose between single- or a master slave rudder. - Choose between multiple scales, namely: 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 of 360 (±180 ). - Display of time and date information, this is only possible when you have chosen the option to display only one rudder angle indicator and the NMEA-ZDA signal is available within the network. - The feed thru of NMEA-RSA data to the network, this solely when a S-100 sensor is connected to the D1000 display and the D1000 is part of a network configuration via a MultiHUB. This page allows you to display one or more S-120 sensors, if available within the Falcon network. In the setup menu the user is allowed to choose between one or two installed echo sounders. For example bow and aft echo sounder. If you have a dual echo sounder configuration, two S-120 sensors, available. Then you are able to choose a dual view page of these sensors. So the user is able to see both depth gauges on one screen. If you choose to display only one depth gauge there will automatically be an additional graphic display of the depth alarm and the depth alteration. Only the S-120 sensor will be supported by the F-120 page. Specification F-120 echo sounder: - Choose between single and dual view, the graphic display of the depth alarm and depth alteration is only available in single view. - Choose between multiple scales, namely: 4m or 40m. - Display of time and date information, this is only possible when you have chosen the option to display only one depth gauge and the NMEA-ZDA signal is available within the network. - The feed thru of NMEA-DPT data to the network, this solely when a S-120 sensor is connected to the D1000 display and the D1000 is part of a network configuration via a MultiHUB. 29 5.3. Falcon F-130 Wind station The Falcon F-130 is the wind station page of the Falcon Series. When there is a S-130 wind sensor available within the Falcon configuration, the data will be displayed by this page. Only the S-130 sensor will be supported by the F-130 page. Specification F-130 wind station: - Display of wind direction, wind speed, outside temperature and air pressure. - Choose between relative and true wind direction. - Choose between display in Beaufort or meters per second. - The feed thru of NMEA-MWV data to the network, this solely when a S-130 sensor is connected to the D1000 display and the D1000 is part of a network configuration via a MultiHUB. The following keys are available on the Falcon F-130: - On/Off/Dim, This allows you to turn the Falcon D1000 on or off, in order to achieve the desired state you have to press and hold this key for several seconds. If you shortly touch this key unit and all other units present in the dim group, will dim accordingly. - Menu, The menu key enters the functions menu of the D Nightview, This button allows the user to quickly switch the D1000 and all other units present in the dim group today- or night mode. - Reset, By means of this function you can reset the D1000 in case of an alarm. If the fault will not be solved the alarm will return upon the next boot of the device. - True/Relative, This function allows the user to choose between true and relative wind display. If you choose relative mode, a ship circumference will be drawn in the display. The S-130 wind sensor has a built-in GPS receiver and does not need any further information to create a relative view. - Beaufort/ m/s, Allows the user to choose for display of wind speed in Beaufort or meters per second. 30 5.4. Falcon F-300 Rate of turn indicator The Falcon F-300 is the rate of turn indicator page of the Falcon Series. When there is a S-300 rate of turn sensor available within the Falcon configuration, the data will be displayed by this page. Only the S-300 sensor will be supported by the F-300 page. Specification F-300 rate of turn indicator: - Display of rate of turn in /min. - Choose between multiple scales, namely: 30 /min, 30/90 /min, 90 /min, 90/300 /min and 300 /min. - Damping. - The feed thru of NMEA-ROT data to the network, this solely when a S-300 sensor is connected to the D1000 display and the D1000 is part of a network configuration via a MultiHUB. The following keys are available on the Falcon F-300: - On/Off/Dim, This allows you to turn the Falcon D1000 on or off, in order to achieve the desired state you have to press and hold this key for several seconds. 31 5.5. Falcon F-345 Compass The Falcon F-345 is the heading indicator page of the Falcon Series. When there is a S-345 compass available within the Falcon configuration, the data will be displayed by this page. Only the S-345 sensor will be supported by the F-345 page. Specification F-345 compass: - Display of heading in. - Choose between magnetic or true heading. - The feed thru of NMEA-HDG, HDT and HDM data to the network, this solely when a S-345 sensor is connected to the D1000 display and the D1000 is part of a network configuration via a MultiHUB. The following keys are available on the Falcon F-345: - On/Off/Dim, This allows you to turn the Falcon D1000 on or off, in order to achieve the desired state you have to press and hold this key for several seconds. It displays the information of the S-100 rudder angle indicator and S-300 rate of turn indicator. As well as the chosen pilot function and corresponding alarm signals. Only the S-100 and S-300 sensors will be supported by the F-500 and F-560 page. Specification F-500 and F-560 pilot: - Choose between multiple scales rudder angle indicator, namely: 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 of Choose between multiple scales rate of turn indicator, namely: 30 /min, 30/90 /min, 90 /min, 90/300 /min en 300 /min. - Damping - The feed thru of NMEA-RSA, ROT, FPI en HTD data, these will be passed thru via the dedicated junctionbox to the Falcon network. 33 - Test, Sends a test starboard or test port signal to the S-300 which allows you to test the senor on good functionality. When the pilot function is active, there will be no possibility to change the scale of the S- 300 rate of turn indicator. When the pilot is active it is strongly recommended to NOT change functionality of the D1000. Various active pilot functions and alarms will be display on the right and left side in the display of the F-500 and F-560 pilot. Active pilot functions will be displayed in green, alarm messages will be red. The steering commands will also be displayed, a red arrow for port and a green arrow for starboard. 35 1.3. Allgemeine Beschreibung Das Falcon D1000 Display ist ein multifunktionales Display mit integrierter Software für diverse Navigationsinstrumente für die Handelsschifffahrt. Die folgenden Sensoren sind standardmäßig in einem D1000 vorprogrammiert. - F-100 Ruderlageanzeiger. - F-120 Tiefenmesser. - F-130 Windsensoren. - F-300 Wendeanzeiger. - F-345 Kompasse. - F-500 Piloten. Eventuell werden dem standardmäßigen Lieferumfang weitere Funktionen zugefügt. Darüber hinaus verfügt das D1000 über sechs kapazitive Tasten, davon eine feste An/Aus-Taste. Die anderen Tasten verändern die Funktion, je nachdem, welche Funktionen Sie für das Display selektieren. Jegliche Bedienung des Instruments erfolgt über diese Tasten. Das Falcon D1000 lässt sich auf zwei Methoden an eine Navigationsanlage an Bord des Schiffes anschließen. Es kann entweder direkt an das Sichtinstrument der Radio Zeeland DMP Sensoren angeschlossen werden, das die Informationen des angeschlossenen Sensors an ein eventuell bestehendes Netzwerk weitergibt oder über ein MultiHUB in einer Netzwerkkonfiguration. Wenn die Konfiguration über ein Netzwerk angewandt wird, kann jeder dem Netzwerk angeschlossene Sensor auf dem Display angezeigt werden. Mit dem Falcon D1000 haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Wiedergabe farblich zu gestalten. Zudem können Sie mit dem Falcon Display Dimmungsgruppen erstellen, die Sie mithilfe mehrerer Displays gleichzeitig dimmen lassen. Wenn von den eingestellten Sensoren fehlerhafte oder keine Informationen empfangen werden, wird eine Alarmmeldung gegeben und es ertönt ein Audiosignal. Auf dem Display erscheint die Meldung NO DATA und gleichzeitig blinkt die rote LED-Anzeige. Diese Meldungen erscheinen auch, wenn eine des MultiHubs defekt ist. Sollte dies der Fall sein, erhalten Sie eine Meldung, in der die IP-Adresse des betreffenden MultiHub zu sehen ist, inklusive der Fehlerart. Wenn Sie eine Fehlermeldung bzgl. eines MultiHubs sehen, ist es von großer Bedeutung, dass Sie schnellstmöglich Kontakt mit Ihrem Lieferanten aufnehmen.
