7 «NO car» scénario réseau STEP 1 mechelen brussel leuven Two contrasted visions: a common transition NO car scenario The first no car islands: zone lievers in/out BCR, public transport nodes in the region (RER, metro, tram ). The no-car islands can be very small, even on neighborhood scale. BCR has the best connectivity and accessibility. As a result it is where the most no-car islands concentrated.
