2 Congrats with Dusty! Follow these 7 easy steps to get started with Red Dusty. 1. Remove Dusty from the 1 box. The internal battery will be charged for its initial use. The box contains two 2 cleaning components. One has bristles; the other has a rubber edge. Take out the component with the rubber edge. 3 Flip Dusty over and attach the component with the rubber edge. This component is ideal for general vacuum cleaning. Yes, the box includes 2 extra bristles and an extra HEPA filter. How do I clean the dust collection bin? Turn off Dusty and press the top lid labelled push. Dusty will now open, allowing you to remove the collection bin. The top of the bin holds a small brush, which can be used to clean the HEPA filter. Be careful: the HEPA filter must not get wet. The rest of the dust collection bin can be emptied in the trash and (optionally) rinsed with water. Let the collection bin dry completely before returning it to Dusty. What are the differences between the two included cleaning components? The standard cleaning component with the rubber edge is used for general vacuum cleaning and should be used in most cases. The component containing bristles has been optimized for cleaning carpets and more excessive dirt. What does the black device with round cap do? This device is a so-called area limiter. It can be used to limit Dusty from going to specific areas in your home. To use the device, insert two batteries, switch it on and place it on the ground. Dusty will recognize the device immediately and will not clean near it. How do I use the water tank and mop? Attach the mop using the velcro strip to the bottom of the water tank. Fill the water tank with water and a small amount of cleaning product. Make sure the rubber cap is sealed completely. 4 Which cleaning programs can I use? Mode 1111: Automatic cleaning. Dusty will scan the environment and decide the ideal cleaning routing. Mode 2222: Spot cleaning. Dusty will clean in circles when it locates excessive dirt. You can also activate the program by pressing the SPOT - button on the remote control when Dusty is near excessive dirt. Mode 3333: Edge cleaning. Dusty will clean along walls and edges. Mode 4444: Zig zag cleaning. The robot will clean in straight lines. Press MODE on the remote control while Dusty is switched on. How do I program a time schedule? You can only program Dusty when it is switched on or charging. Set Dusty s clock: Press the Scheduling button on Dusty (located right above the text on the robot). Four LEDs will light up (Charging, Spot Mode, Scheduling and the on/off button). You can now set the time, starting with the hour of the day. Press Charging to go forward and Spot Mode to go back. When the hour is set, press the on/off button. You can now set the minutes. Adjust the numbers using the same buttons. Pressing the Scheduling button will cancel the procedure. Once the time is set you can program when Dusty should start its cleaning routine. To do so, press and hold the Scheduling button for 3 seconds. Adjust the time, again using the Charging, Spot and on/off buttons. If you want Dusty to abandon its automatic cleaning schedule, set the scheduled time to 00:00. What do I do when Dusty will not be used for a period of time? Completely charge the battery and store Dusty in a dry place. How does Dusty recharge? Dusty will return to its charging base automatically and recharge. Should you want it to recharge beforehand, simply press the HOME button on the remote control. This will order Dusty to return to the charging base. Alternatively, you can plug the charging cord directly into Dusty.

Komt Red Dusty met reserve onderdelen? Ja, in de doos zitten 2 extra borstels en 1 extra HEPA filter. Hoe maak ik het stofbakje schoon? Zet Dusty uit en druk vervolgens aan de bovenkant op PUSH. Hierdoor zal Dusty opengaan en kunt u het stofbakje uitnemen. Aan de bovenkant van het bakje zit een borsteltje, dat kun u gebruiken om het HEPA filter schoon te maken. Dit HEPA filter mag niet nat worden. De rest van het bakje kun u leegmaken boven een vuilnisbak en/of met water afspoelen. Laat het bakje goed drogen voordat u het weer terugplaatst in Dusty. Wat is het verschil tussen de standaard component en die met borstel? Het standaard component met rubberen rand is geoptimaliseerd voor stofzuigen. Het component met borstels werkt beter voor grover vuil en tapijt. Wat is het zwarte apparaat met ronde dop aan de bovenkant? Dat is een zone-begrenzer, die u kunt gebruiken om bepaalde ruimtes af te sluiten voor Dusty. Plaats twee batterijen in het apparaat, zet de schakelaar op ON en zet de begrenzer op de grond. Red Dusty zal de begrenzer vanzelf zien en vermijden. Hoe gebruik ik de watertank en de bijgeleverde dweil? De dweil met klittenband moet aan de onderkant van de watertank bevestigd worden. Vul de watertank met water en eventueel een klein beetje allesreiniger. Zorg dat het rubber dopje van de tank goed gesloten is. Draai Dusty om en plaats de watertank zodat de 2 kleine pinnetjes en 2 grotere pinnen van de watertank in Dusty passen. Draai Dusty terug en zet hem aan. Het water uit de tank verspreid zich vanzelf in de dweil.

7 Welke programma s zijn er? Mode 1111: Automatisch. Dusty tast de volledige omgeving af en bepaalt zelf hoe deze het beste schoon te maken is. Mode 2222: Spot. Dusty gaat in cirkels schoonmaken als hij locaties met veel vuil tegenkomt. Druk eventueel ook handmatig op SPOT op de afstandsbediening als Dusty in de buurt is van een locatie die erg vuil is. Mode 3333: Randen. Dusty gaat schoonmaken langs randen en muren. Mode 4444: Zig-zag. Dusty gaat in rechte banen schonen maken. Druk op MODE op de afstandsbediening terwijl Dusty aan staat. Hoe programmeer ik een tijd in Dusty? U kunt Dusty enkel programmeren als hij aan staat of aan het opladen is. Stel eerst de klok van Dusty in: druk op uw Dusty op de Scheduling knop (deze bevindt zich net boven het woord). Vier lampjes gaan dan branden: Charging, Spot Mode, Scheduling en de knop. U kunt nu de uren van de tijd instellen. Druk op Charging om in uren omhoog te gaan en Spot Mode om in uren omlaag te gaan. Als de uren goed ingesteld staan, druk dan op de knop. U kunt nu de minuten instellen met dezelfde knoppen. Als u klaar bent, druk dan op de knop om de tijd op te slaan. Wanneer u tussentijds op Scheduling drukt dan annuleert u het instellen van de tijd. Als u de klok van Dusty ingesteld heeft, dan kunt u nu programmeren hoe laat hij automatisch moet gaan stofzuigen. Druk 3 seconden lang op Scheduling. Gebruik, net als bij het instellen van de klok, weer de knoppen Charging, Spot Mode en. Wilt u niet (meer) dat Dusty automatisch gaat schoonmaken, stel dan zijn automatische tijd in om 00:00. Wat te doen als ik Dusty enige tijd niet gebruik? Laad de accu van Dusty volledig op en plaats Dusty op een droge plaats. Hoe laadt Dusty op? Dusty zal automatisch terug gaan naar het basisstation en zichzelf opladen. Mocht u hem tussentijds op willen laden, dan kunt u op HOME drukken op de afstandsbediening. Hiermee geeft u Dusty de opdracht om naar het basisstation te gaan. U kunt eventueel ook de kabel van de adapter van het oplaadstation rechtstreeks in Dusty steken.
