5 Hotel beds Hotel bedden People all over the world enjoy the great comfort of Nilson beds. Natural materials are used according to traditional methods to produce the high level of comfort this unique product provides. The beds have a sober and luxurious design and are completely handmade in the Netherlands. Over de hele wereld genieten mensen van het fantastische comfort van Nilson bedden. Voor dit hoogwaardige comfort worden natuurlijke materialen verwerkt tot een uniek en ambachtelijk eindproduct. De bedden hebben een ingetogen, luxe vormgeving en worden volledig handgemaakt in Nederland. Nilson likes to work with leading designers for the design of the beds and accessories. This is also the case for the new Signature Beds collection, which has been specially designed for hotels and projects. Nilson werkt graag samen met toonaangevende ontwerpers, als het gaat om vormgeving van bedden en accessoires. Zo ook voor deze nieuwe collectie Signature Beds, die speciaal ontwikkeld is voor hotels en projecten. Renowned hotel architect FG stijl from Amsterdam is responsible for the design of the Signature collection. FG stijl has paid attention to the design and especially to the current requirements with regards to quality, comfort and user friendliness. That is why this collection is so perfectly suited to the wishes and requirements of contemporary luxury hotels. Gerenommeerd hotelarchitect FG stijl uit Amsterdam, tekende voor de vormgeving van de Signature collectie. Naast het design heeft FG stijl speciaal aandacht besteed aan hoogwaardige kwaliteit, comfort en gebruiksgemak. Deze collectie sluit daarom naadloos aan bij de wensen en behoeften van de hedendaagse luxe hotels. Signature 05

7 FG stijl Colin Finnegan & Gerard Glintmeijer Our vision Onze visie Luxury is found in bespoke services and attention to detail. It is through the details that the world will become less uniform, and sustainability will be achieved through the use of quality materials. Our visions are shaped around people. A design concept must radiate strength and longevity. In their first fifteen years, FG stijl produced a prolific body of work, including four of the Netherlands Michelin starred restaurants and Amsterdam s award winning, The College Hotel. These efforts secured the Prix Villégiature award for Best Hotel Interior Design in Europe and the Theme.nl 2005 Award for Best New Hotel Design Netherlands. Since then FG stijl completed the Dominican hotel in Brussels and Vienna s DO & CO hotel and restaurant, both under the flag of Design Hotel TM, and Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf. Currently they are working on a new Hyatt Regency in Vladivostok, due to open in Their first book was published in 2008 and nominated for the Prix Villégiature Best Book on Hotels in Europe award. Luxe wordt bereikt door het leveren van diensten op maat en door aandacht te besteden aan de details. Deze details zorgen ervoor dat de wereld minder uniform wordt en daarbij wordt de duurzaamheid verhoogd door het gebruik van kwaliteitsproducten. Wij nemen in onze visie altijd de mens als uitgangspunt. Een design ontwerp dient kracht en duurzaamheid uit te stralen. In haar eerste vijftien jaar heeft FG stijl een enorme portfolio opgebouwd, waaronder vier Nederlandse Michelin sterrenrestaurants en The College Hotel in Amsterdam, waarvoor zij een prijs ontvingen. Hun inspanningen werden beloond met de Prix Villégiature prijs voor het Beste Hotel Interieur Design in Europa en de Theme.nl 2005 prijs voor het Beste Nieuw Hotel Ontwerp Nederland. Sindsdien heeft FG stijl The Dominican hotel in Brussel en het DO & CO hotel en restaurant in Wenen voltooid, beiden onder de vlag van Design Hotel TM, en Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf. Momenteel werken zij aan het nieuwe Hyatt Regency hotel in Vladivostok, welke haar deuren zal openen in FG stijl gaf in 2008 haar eerste boek uit welke door Prix Villégiature is genomineerd voor de prijs voor het Beste Boek over Hotels in Europa. 9 Sleeping is a luxury Slapen is een luxe FG stijl, designer of various luxury hotels, is well aware of the importance of creating the right sleeping environment. In order to satisfy a great variety of guests, the bed demands a lot of attention. The design created for Nilson meets every requirement in the luxury hotel industry. The headboard has been designed as a wooden screen and includes many comforts: built-in lighting, phone connection and switches. The guest will also find ample room in the night table to store their belongings and books. User friendliness and comfort are essential in the design. Individuality makes the world a richer place. Besides being functional, the design is also flexible enough to be able to fit within any concept. The possibilities of the side pieces are endless. It also offers a great variety of choice in size and materials, achieving a very smart customized result. FG stijl, verantwoordelijk voor het design van diverse tophotels, weet als geen ander hoe belangrijk het is om een juiste slaapomgeving te creëren. Om tevredenheid te kunnen bereiken bij een grote diversiteit aan gasten, verdient vooral het bed veel aandacht. Het ontwerp gemaakt voor Nilson voldoet aan alle verwachtingen in de luxe hotelwereld. Het als kamerscherm ontworpen headboard van het bed herbergt vele gemakken. Zowel verlichting als telefoonaansluiting en schakelaars zijn erin geïntegreerd. Daarnaast vindt de gast in de nachtkastjes de ruimte om persoonlijke eigendommen en lectuur op te bergen. Gebruiksgemak staat naast comfort centraal in het ontwerp. De wereld is rijker door individualiteit. Naast functionaliteit biedt het ontwerp dan ook de nodige flexibiliteit die het toepasbaar maakt binnen ieder concept. De mogelijkheden voor de invulling van de zijwangen zijn talloos. Daarnaast bestaat er een grote keuzevrijheid als het gaat om maten en materialen. Op die manier kan er een bijzonder mooi customised resultaat worden bereikt. Signature 09

26 Premium collection Premium collectie All beds from the premium collection of Nilson have the same comfortable, durable and anti-allergic properties. The unique blend of high quality ingredients ensures a pleasant climate and optimal support. Top mattresses Optionally, the top mattress has a core of the highly flexible Talalay latex or Premium foam, with coatings of wool and cotton. Finally, the top mattresses are upholstered with 100% organic, soft cotton. The organically grown cotton without addition of synthetic materials provides a healthy and pleasant climate. Topmatrassen De topmatras heeft een kern van het uiterst soepele Talalay latex of Premiumfoam, afgedekt met wol en katoen. Tenslotte worden de topmatrassen gestoffeerd met een 100% biologische, zachte katoen. Mattresses The high, thermally hardened pocket springs in the mattress are covered with comfort layers of Premium foam. This smooth Nilson comfort foam has an open cell structure for optimal ventilation and guarantee a long life span. 27 Bed Sleeper The Sleeper is practical and comfortable. The high box spring has a double spring pocket system, with zoning for the right support. Together with the luxurious Premium top mattress, this bed delivers the optimal sleeping experience. Also available with valance cover (see page 18). This luxury bed is ideal for use in hotels and projects. De Sleeper is praktisch en comfortabel. 29 Bed Royal The model Royal offers the ultimate in luxury. The electrically adjustable bed of Nilson. The head and foot of the bed is infinitely adjustable with a remote control. The movable base is perfectly hidden in the bed frame, so that the motors remain out of sight. The mattress and top mattress both provide a beneficial support. Het toppunt van luxe biedt model Royal.
