4 SAFETY INFORMATION Carefully read the instructions before installing and using the equipment. The manufacturer is not liable for improper installation and use of the equipment that may cause injuries and damage. Always keep the instructions at hand, so they can be easily referred to during use Safety of children and vulnerable adults WARNING! Risk of choking, injury or permanent disability. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are given supervision or instructions concerning how to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Keep packaging materials away from children. Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation or when cooling. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision Warnings on general safety Do not use steam cleaners to clean the appliance. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal scrapers to clean the appliance. Only qualified personnel can install the appliance and replace the cable. The electric system must be equipped with a means for disconnection, with a contact separation in all poles that provide full disconnection under overvoltage category III. The connection should include correct earthing, in compliance with current norms.

5 ENGLISH 4 Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance operation. 2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1. Installation WARNING! Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel only Remove the packaging material. Do not install or use the appliance if damaged. Comply with the instructions supplied with the appliance. Always pay attention when moving the appliance and wear safety gloves. Do not turn the appliance upside down or tilt it! This may cause oil to leak from the pump and damage the equipment. Respect the minimum distance from other appliances. Make sure the appliance is installed and secured to a fixed structure. The sides of the appliance must be adjacent to other equipment or units having the same height Electrical connection WARNING! Risk of fire and electric shock. All the electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be earthed. Make sure that all the electrical data shown in the data plate of the model correspond to those of the system. Otherwise, contact an electrician. Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters or extension cables. Make sure not to damage the mains plug and the mains cable. Contact the Assistance Service or an electrician to change any damaged mains cable. Shock protection devices must be fastened in such a way that they cannot be removed without tools. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only once installation has been completed. Make sure that the mains plug can be accessed after installation. Do not connect the mains plug if the mains socket is loose. Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Pull only the mains plug. Use only suitable isolation devices: circuit breakers, fuses (screw type fuses must be removed from the fuse holder), earth fault current releases and relays Use WARNING! Risk of injury, burns, electric shock or explosion Use this appliance in a household environment. Do not modify the specifications of this appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Switch off the appliance after use. Do not use the appliance with wet hands or when it could come into contact with water. 6 Cleaning and maintenance WARNING! You may damage the appliance Pay attention when you remove or insert the accessories. Do not touch the sealing bar (5) immediately after sealing. You may get burnt due to the residual heat. In the event of a power failure during a work cycle with closed cover (3), do not force the cover with a tool to open it, wait until power is restored. Do not place any weight on the cover (3)! Prevent any object from falling on the cover! This can compromise the integrity, causing cracks or damage. Do not proceed with packaging if the cover has cracks or is broken. Contact the Technical Assistance Service to replace it. 3 5 WARNING! There is a risk of injury, fire or damage. Before carrying out any maintenance operation, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the mains socket Check that the appliance is cold. Clean the appliance on a regular basis to prevent the surface materials from wearing. Clean the appliance using a damp and soft cloth. Use neutral detergents only. Do not use abrasive products, alcoholbased detergents, abrasive sponges, solvents or metal objects. Follow the safety instructions indicated on the packaging, in the event you use sprays Disposal WARNING! Risk of injury and choking. Disconnect the plug from the power supply. Remove the main cable and dispose of it. 3

7 3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This product is ideal for: Vacuum food packaging for the SOUS VIDE cooking methods (see chapter 7). Removing the air from the pouches ensures perfect cooking results, thanks to the homogeneous heat. transfer and retention of minerals and ENGLISH 6 vitamins that would otherwise be dispersed. Accessories Volume Reducer With these pouches, food can be stored and cooked at a temperature ranging between 0 C and 120 C (max. 30min at 120ºC) The supplied pouches are ideal for the sous vide vacuum cooking method. Pouches order code: pouches for vacuum cooking and storage. (25 pieces, dimensions: 20x30 cm + 25 pieces dimensions: 25x35 cm) External vacuum fitting (see chapter 9).

8 BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety Cleaning for the first time Remove all the parts from the appliance. Clean the appliance before you use it for the first time First connection Connect the appliance to the power supply. Use the ON/OFF switch -1- locate to the left of the control panel to switch the appliance on. Before using the appliance, proceed with the Conditioning Program as shown below: Close the cover with the empty tank. Select program P7 using the keys -9- and Press Start -8-. Wait for the cycle to end (about 3 minutes). At the end of the cycle, the display shows P7 again. Now the machine is ready for use 5. 9 ENGLISH 8 6. DAILY USE WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety Switch the appliance on using the ON/OFF -1- switch and wait until the display shows the last program performed (e.g. P1). Lift the cover and place the pouch containing the food to be packed inside the tank, leaving at least 2 cm beyond the sealing bar (see figure) For small products, use the supplied filler plate, as it helps position the pouch in the correct position with respect to the sealing bar. Close the cover and select the required program pressing DECREASE/ INCREASE -9-, -10- and then press Start -8-. During the vacuum stage, the display shows the progress (in percentage) until the set value is reached. The display now shows the sealing time, after which the environmental pressure is restored inside the tank. Now you can open the cover, as soon as the display shows the program number (e.g. P1). Programs from P1 to P5 can be set according to the consumer's requirements. By default, the set vacuum is 99.9% and the recommended sealing time for the supplied pouches is 2 seconds. These parameters are suitable for the normal use of the machine. Refer to the following table for other settings. 10 9 Food Vacuum Recommended Fish, shellfish 99.9% Sausages 99.9% Cured meats 99.9% Vegetables 99.9% Fresh vegetables (salad, tomatoes) 35-50% Stop button This button immediately stops suction and the machine proceeds by sealing the pouch automatically. This function must be used for packing liquid and hot products, which can boil during the vacuum cycle. Modifying the parameters We recommend modifying the vacuum % parameters for some foods (see the recommended vacuum % table). The pouch sealing time can be modified (from 0 to 4 seconds) for pouches with different thickness compared to those supplied.to modify these parameters, proceed as follows: Press buttons -9-, -10- to select the program to be modified (e.g. P2). Press the selection button -7-. The display shows the vacuum percentage (99.9%). Enter the desired number by pressing buttons -9-, -10- Press the selection button -7-. The display shows the sealing time (2 seconds). Enter the desired value by pressing buttons -9-, -10- By pressing -7- again, the display shows the program (e.g. P2). The displayed program means that the set parameters have been saved. 7. VACUUM FOOD PACKAGING FOR SOUS VIDE COOKING METHOD With this method, the food sealed in the vacuum pouch is then slowly steam cooked or cooked in low temperature water. Vacuum is set at 99.9%, which is ideal for this cooking method. The benefits provided are many: The flavour and texture of the food are better Both flavour and aromas are preserved, as the cooking process does not disperse them The reduced loss of liquid makes the food softer and less dry. Nutrients like minerals and vitamins are preserved by the sealed pouch. You don't need to add oils or fats for cooking.

11 ENGLISH VACUUM PACKAGING FOR FOOD PRESERVATION Removing air preserves food for longer periods. Food preservation table The following table shows the preservation time of vacuum food. Please remember that times are indicative. For cooked food, times refer to food refrigerated immediately after vacuum packaging. In the event of refrigerated food, make sure that the refrigerator can reach and maintain the required temperature. We always recommend checking the condition of the food before you eat it after a prolonged preservation.

12 11 Marinating in the pouch Use the ON/OFF switch -1- located to the left of the control panel to switch the appliance on. Place the food with the marinade inside the pouch. Place the pouch inside the tank. Select one of the programs between P1 and P5 with vacuum at 99.9% and sealing time set at 2 seconds, using keys -9- and Close the cover and press Start -8-. Open the cover, as soon as the display shows the program (e.g. P1). Store in the refrigerator for 9-12 hours. 9. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS 9.1. P6 External vacuum This program must be used to eliminate the air inside special air-tight containers (not supplied with this product). Unscrew the intake fitting placed inside the tank Tighten the "external vacuum" fitting Connect this fitting to the container using the intake pipe. With the open cover, start the program by pressing Start -8-. This program allows only the "vacuum" program to be set 9.2. P7 Conditioning program This program must be used in the following situations: Before using the machine for the first time. After a long stop period. After having sealed products with high humidity content (e.g. soups). When you notice a decrease in performance of the machine (e.g.: time to reach vacuum is increased or it does not reach it at all). This program lasts about 3 minutes and ensures a complete cleaning of the pump, removing any liquid emulsion that might be found in the oil. Do not seal any product while this program is running. This program has no set variables. Follow the indications below to start the program: Close the cover with the empty tank Select program P7 using keys -9- and Press Start -8-. Wait for the cycle to end (about 3 minutes). At the end of the cycle, the display shows P7 again. Now the machine is ready for use

13 10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ENGLISH 12 WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety Clean the metal surfaces using normal detergents suitable for stainless steel. Clean the appliance after use. Clean the Plexiglas cover (3) inside and out using only neutral detergents (water and soap). Do not use abrasive products, alcoholbased detergents, abrasive sponges, solvents or metal objects. Follow the safety instructions indicated on the packaging, in the event you use sprays. Clean the sealing bar (5) using a dry cloth. Remove any film residue that deposits on the bar. Before cleaning the tank (4), especially when liquid remains are in, it is recommended to remove the sealing bar (5). 11. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety. PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION The pouch is not sealed correctly The sealing time is not correct. The cover gasket is dirty or worn. The pouch is not placed correctly on the sealing bar. The sealing bar is worn (the Teflon coating is burnt). The blade placed under the Teflon of the sealing bar is broken. Change the sealing time. Clean or replace the cover gasket (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Position the pouch correctly. Replace the sealing bar (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Replace the blade (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement).

14 13 Final vacuum is poor The cover does not open The set vacuum percentage is incorrect. The cover gasket is dirty or worn. The cover is not closed correctly. No power supply. Change the vacuum percentage. Clean or replace the cover gasket (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Close the cover correctly. Make sure that objects or dirt are not found between the cover and tank. Wait until the power supply is restored. If the machine does not work properly after the above-mentioned checks, contact the assistance service describing the detected defect. Alarm messages The appliance detects some alarms, which are displayed -11-.with the following messages: OIL: Replace the pump oil. Contact the technical assistance service. OFF: The electronic board is blocked. Contact the technical assistance service. EAA: The appliance has not reached the vacuum within the maximum set time (160 seconds). Make sure the cover is closed correctly. The cover has not been closed during the P7 program Conditioning Program. Switch the appliance off and on to reset the alarm. FLA: Power supply voltage is low. Contact the technical assistance service. 12. ENVIRONMENT CONCERNS Recycle the materials with this symbol. Put the packaging in applicable containers to recycle it. Help protect the environment and human health and to recycle waste of electrical and electronic appliances. Do not dispose appliances marked with this symbol with the household waste. Return the product to your local recycling facility or contact your municipal office.

Il collegamento deve includere corretta messa a terra, nel rispetto delle norme vigenti. Prima di eseguire qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione, scollegare l'apparecchiatura dalla rete elettrica. 2. ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA 2.1. Installazione AVVERTENZA! L'installazione dell'apparecchiatura deve essere svolta unicamente da personale qualificato Rimuovere tutti i materiali di imballaggio. Non installare e utilizzare l'apparecchiatura se è danneggiata. Attenersi alle istruzioni fornite insieme all'apparecchiatura. Prestare sempre attenzione in fase di spostamento dell'apparecchiatura, indossare sempre i guanti di sicurezza. Non capovolgere o inclinare l apparecchiatura! Questo da luogo alla fuoriuscita dell olio dalla pompa che potrebbe danneggiare l apparecchiatura stessa. È necessario rispettare le distanze minime dalle altre apparecchiature. Assicurarsi che l'apparecchiatura sia installata e adeguatamente ancorata a una struttura fissa. I lati dell'apparecchiatura devono restare adiacenti ad apparecchiature o unità con la stessa altezza Collegamento elettrico AVVERTENZA! Rischio di incendio e scossa elettrica. Tutti i collegamenti elettrici devono essere realizzati da un elettricista qualificato. L'apparecchiatura deve disporre di una messa a terra. I dispositivi di protezione da scosse elettriche devono essere fissati in modo tale da non poter essere disattivati senza l'uso di attrezzi. Inserire la spina di alimentazione nella presa solo al termine dell'installazione. Verificare che la spina di alimentazione rimanga accessibile dopo l'installazione. Nel caso in cui la spina di corrente sia allentata, non collegarla alla presa. Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione per scollegare l apparecchiatura. Tirare solo la spina. Servirsi unicamente di dispositivi di isolamento adeguati: interruttori automatici, fusibili (quelli a tappo devono essere rimossi dal portafusibile), sganciatori per correnti di guasto a terra e relè.

Non apportare modifiche alle specifiche di questa apparecchiatura. Non lasciare mai l'apparecchiatura incustodita durante il funzionamento. Spegnere l'apparecchiatura dopo ogni utilizzo. Non mettere in funzione l'apparecchiatura con le mani umide o quando c'è un contatto con l'acqua. Non esercitare pressione sul cassetto. Non utilizzare l'apparecchiatura come superficie di lavoro o come piano di appoggio. Evitare la presenza di scintille o fiamme aperte vicino all'apparecchiatura quando si apre il cassetto. Vi è il rischio di danneggiare l'apparecchiatura. Prestare attenzione quando si tolgono o inseriscono gli accessori. Non toccare la barra saldante (5) subito dopo la saldatura. Possibilità di scottature dovute al residuo calore sulla barra stessa. In caso di mancanza dell energia elettrica durante un ciclo di lavoro con coperchio (3) chiuso, non forzare l apertura del coperchio con nessun 3 5 attrezzo, ma attendere il ripristino dell energia elettrica. Non appoggiare nessun peso sul coperchio (3)! Evitare di fare cadere qualunque oggetto sul coperchio! Questo potrebbe alterarne l integrità, causando cricche o rottura. Non procedere nel confezionamento in caso di cricche o rottura del coperchio. Contattare l assistenza tecnica per la sostituzione Pulizia e manutenzione AVVERTENZA! Vi è il rischio di lesioni, incendio o danni all'apparecchiatura Prima di eseguire qualunque intervento di manutenzione, spegnere l'apparecchiatura ed estrarre la spina dalla presa. Controllare che l'apparecchiatura sia fredda. Pulire regolarmente l'apparecchiatura per evitare il deterioramento dei materiali che compongono la superficie. Pulire l'apparecchiatura con un panno inumidito e morbido. Utilizzare solo detergenti neutri. Non usare prodotti abrasivi, detergenti a base di alchool, spugnette abrasive, solventi od oggetti metallici. Nel caso in cui si usino spray, attenersi alle istruzioni di sicurezza indicate sulla confezione.

Accendere l apparechiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF -1-, posto alla sinistra del pannello dei comandi Prima dell utilizzo procedere al Conditioning Program come illustrato di seguito: Chiudere il coperchio con la vasca vuota Selezionare il programma P7 con i tasti, -9- i Premere il tasto Start -8-. Attendere il completamento del ciclo (circa 3 minuti) Alla fine del ciclo il display visualizza di nuovo P7 A questo punto la macchina è pronta per l utilizzo. 5. 21 6. UTILIZZO QUOTIDIANO ITALIANO 20 AVVERTENZA! Fare riferimento ai capitoli sulla sicurezza. Accendere l apparecchiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF -1- e attendere qualche istante fino a quando il display visualizza l ultimo programma eseguito (es. P1). Sollevare il coperchio e posizionare nella vasca la busta con all interno l alimento da confezionare lasciando minimo 2 cm oltre la barra saldante (vedi figura) Per prodotti poco voluminosi utilizzare la tavoletta di riempimento in dotazione in quanto favorisce una migliore posizione della busta rispetto alla barra saldante. Chiudere completamente il coperchio e selezionare il programma desiderato premendo i pulsanti DECREMENTA/INCREMENTA -9- i -10- ed in seguito premere il pulsante Start -8- Durante la fase di vuoto il display ne visualizza l avanzamento in percentuale fino al raggiungimento del valore impostato. Successivamente sarà visualizzato l avanzamento del tempo di saldatura al termine del quale viene ripristinata la pressione ambientale all interno della vasca Sarà possibile quindi aprire il coperchio non appena sul display si visualizza il numero di programma (es. P1) I programmi da P1 a P5 sono impostabili in base alle esigenze del consumatore. L impostazione di fabbrica prevede 99,9% di vuoto e 2 secondi di tempo di saldatura che è consigliato per le buste in dotazione. Questi parametri risultano essere idonei per l utilizzo più comune della macchina. Per altre impostazioni fare riferimento alla tabella allegata di seguito. Questa funzione sarà da utilizzare per il confezionamento di prodotti liquidi e caldi che durante il ciclo di vuoto possono andare in ebollizione. Modifica parametri Per alcuni alimenti è consigliato modificare il parametro % di vuoto (vedi tabella % vuoto consigliato).e inoltre possibile modificare il tempo di saldatura della busta (da 0 a 4 secondi) per buste con spessore diverso da quelle fornite. Per modificare questi parametri procedere come segue: Premere i pulsanti -9- i -10- per selezionare il programma che si vuole modificare (es. P2). Premere il pulsante di selezione -7- Il display visualizza la percentuale di vuoto (99,9%). Inserire valore desiderato premendo i pulsanti. -9- i -10- Premere il pulsante di selezione -7-. Il display visualizza il tempo di saldatura (2 secondi). Inserire il valore desiderato premendo i pulsanti. -9- i -10- Premendo ancora il pulsante -7- il display visualizza il programma (es. P2). Una volta visualizzato il programma i parametri impostati sono stati salvati 7. CONFEZIONAMENTO ALIMENTI SOTTOVUOTO PER COTTURA SOUS VIDE Questa tecnica prevede che gli alimenti sigillati nella busta sottovuoto siano poi cotti lentamente a vapore o in acqua a basse temperature. L impostazione del vuoto al 99,9% è ideale per questo tipo di cottura. I vantaggi sono innumerevoli: Il sapore e la consistenza del cibo sono migliori I sapori e i profumi vengono preservati in quanto gli aromi non vengono persi durante la cottura La minore perdita di liquidi rende i cibi più morbidi e meno asciutti I nutrienti come Sali minerali e vitamine vengono preservati nell alimento dalla busta sigillata. Non è necessario aggiungere né oli né grassi per la cottura.

24 23 Marinatura in busta Accendere l apparecchiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF -1- posto alla sinistra del pannello dei comandi Inserire nella busta l alimento con la marinata di aromi Inserire la busta nella vasca Selezionare con i tasti -9- i -10- uno dei programmi tra P1 e P5 con impostazione 99.9% di vuoto e 2 secondi di tempo saldatura. Chiudere il coperchio e premere il pulsante Start -8-. Sarà possibile quindi aprire il coperchio non appena sul display si visualizza il programma (es. P1) Conservare poi in frigorifero per 9/12 ore 9. FUNZIONI AGGIUNTIVE 9.1. P6 Vuoto esterno È il programma da utilizzare per l eliminazione dell aria all interno di speciali contenitori richiudibili ermeticamente (non in dotazione con questo prodotto). Svitare il raccordo di aspirazione posto all interno della vasca Avvitare il raccordo per vuoto esterno Collegare questo raccordo, tramite un tubo di aspirazione, al contenitore A coperchio aperto avviare il programma premendo il pulsante Start -8-. In questo programma è possibile impostare solamente il parametro vuoto P7 Conditioning program È il programma da utilizzare nelle seguenti situazioni: Prima di utilizzare la macchina per la prima volta. Dopo che questa è rimasta ferma per un periodo prolungato. Dopo aver confezionato prodotti con un alta percentuale di umidità (es. minestre e zuppe). Quando si nota un calo di prestazioni della macchina (es.: aumenta il tempo per raggiungere il vuoto o non lo raggiunge). Questo programma della durata di circa 3 minuti garantisce una pulizia completa della pompa eliminando qualsiasi emulsione di liquidi che si possono formare nell olio. Durante l esecuzione di questo programma non si deve confezionare nessun prodotto. Questo programma non ha variabili impostabili. Per avviare il programma eseguire le seguenti operazioni: Chiudere il coperchio con la vasca vuota Selezionare il programma P7 con i tasti -9- i -10- Premere il tasto Start -8-. Attendere il completamento del ciclo (circa 3 minuti). Alla fine del ciclo il display visualizza di nuovo P7. A questo punto la macchina è pronta per l utilizzo.

25 10. PULIZIA E CURA AVVERTENZA! Fare riferimento ai capitoli sulla sicurezza ITALIANO 24 consiglia di estrarre la barra saldante (5). Pulire le superfici metalliche con normali detergenti per l acciaio inox. Pulire l apparecchiatura dopo ogni utilizzo. Per la pulizia del coperchio in plexiglas (3) pulire sia l esterno che l interno esclusivamente con detergenti neutri (acqua e sapone). Non usare prodotti abrasivi, detergenti a base di alcol, spugnette abrasive, solventi od oggetti metallici. Nel caso in cui si usino spray, attenersi alle istruzioni di sicurezza indicate sulla confezione. Pulire la barra saldante (5) con un panno asciutto. Rimuovere eventuali residui di film che si depositano sulla barra. Per la pulizia della vasca (4), soprattutto in caso di residui liquidi, si 11. COSA FARE SE AVVERTENZA! 26 25 Vuoto finale insufficiente Il coperchio non si apre La percentuale di vuoto impostata non è corretta. La guarnizione del coperchio è sporca o usurata. Il coperchio non è chiuso correttamente. Mancanza dell energia elettrica. Modificare la percentuale di vuoto. Pulire o sostituire la guarnizione del coperchio (per la sostituzione contattare l assistenza tecnica). Chiudere correttamente il coperchio Verificare che tra coperchio e vasca del vuoto non ci siano oggetti o sporcizia. Attendere il ripristino dell energia elettrica. Se dopo aver effettuato i suddetti controlli la macchina non dovesse funzionare ancora perfettamente, contattate il servizio di assistenza descrivendo esattamente il difetto riscontrato. Messaggi di allarme L apparecchiatura prevede la rilevazione di alcuni allarmi che vengono segnalati tramite la visualizzazione sul display -11- dei seguenti messaggi: OIL: L olio della pompa è da sostituire. Contattare l assistenza tecnica. OFF: La scheda elettronica è in blocco. Contattare l assistenza tecnica. EAA: L apparecchiatura non ha raggiunto il vuoto nel tempo massimo stabilito (160 secondi). Controllare che il coperchio sia chiuso correttamente. Nell esecuzione del programma P7 Conditioning Program non è stato chiuso il coperchio. Per resettare l allarme spegnere e riaccendere l apparecchiatura. FLA: La tension di alimentazione è bassa. Contattare l assistenza tecnica. 12. CONSIDERAZIONI AMBIENTAL Riciclare i materiali con il simbolo.buttare l'imballaggio negli appositi contenitori per il riciclaggio. Aiutare a proteggere l ambiente e la salute umana e a riciclare rifiuti derivanti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche. Non smaltire le apparecchiature che riportano il simbolo, insieme ai normali rifiuti domestici. Portare il prodotto al punto di riciclaggio più vicino o contattare il comune di residenza.

Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet de fabrikant, een erkende serviceverlener of een gekwalificeerd persoon deze vervangen teneinde gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen. Zet de stroomtoevoer uit alvorens onderhoud te plegen. 2. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN 2.1. Installatie WAARSCHUWING! Installatie mag enkel uitgevoerd worden door gekwalificeerd personeel. Verwijder het verpakkingsmateriaal. Installeer of gebruik het toestel niet indien beschadigd. Volg de instructies op die geleverd zijn bij het toestel. Wees altijd voorzichtig wanneer u het toestel verplaatst en draag veiligheidshandschoenen. Houd het toestel niet ondersteboven of kantel het niet! Dit kan een olielek vanuit de pomp veroorzaken en het toestel beschadigen. Respecteer de minimumafstand ten opzichte van andere toestellen. Zorg ervoor dat het toestel geïnstalleerd en bevestigd is op een vaste structuur. De zijkanten van het toestel moeten grenzen aan andere installaties of apparaten met eenzelfde hoogte Elektriciteitsaansluiting WAARSCHUWING! Gevaar voor brand en elektrische shock. Elektrische aansluitingen dienen te gebeuren door een gekwalificeerde elektricien. Het toestel moet geaard zijn. Zorg ervoor dat de elektrische gegevens zoals vermeld op de gegevensplaat van het model overeenkomen met deze van het systeem. Indien niet, contacteer een elektricien. Gebruik altijd een correct geïnstalleerde schokbestendige contactdoos. Gebruik geen meervoudige contactdozen of verlengkabels. Zorg ervoor dat de stekker en de elektriciteitskabel niet beschadigd worden. Contacteer de Hulpdienst of een elektricien om eventueel beschadigde kabels te vervangen. Beschermingsmiddelen tegen shock moeten zodanig vastgemaakt worden dat ze niet kunnen weggenomen worden zonder gereedschap. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact enkel en alleen wanneer de installatie volledig is. Zorg ervoor dat de stekker bereikbaar is na installatie. Steek de stekker niet in het stopcontact als deze laatste los is. Trek niet aan de elektriciteitskabel om het toestel uit te schakelen. Trek enkel aan de stekker. Gebruik enkel geschikte isolatiemiddelen: installatieautomaten, zekeringen (zekeringen met schroefkop moeten uit de zekeringenkast verwijderd worden), aardsluiting stroomlosser en relais.

30 Gebruik WAARSCHUWING! Gevaar voor letsel, brandwonden, elektrische shock of ontploffing Gebruik dit toestel in een huishoudomgeving. Wijzig de specificaties van dit toestel niet. Laat het toestel niet onbeheerd achter wanneer in werking. Schakel het toestel uit na gebruik. Gebruik het toestel niet met natte handen of wanneer het in contact zou kunnen komen met water. Oefen geen druk uit op de lade Gebruik het toestel niet als een werkblad of als ondersteuning. Vermijd de aanwezigheid van vonken of open vlammen in de buurt van het toestel als u de lade opent. Ga niet verder met verpakken als het deksel barsten vertoont of gebroken is. Contacteer de Technische Hulpdienst om het te vervangen Reiniging en onderhoud WAARSCHUWING! Risico voor letsel, brand of schade. Vooraleer enig onderhoud uit te voeren, schakel het toestel uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Controleer of het toestel koud is. Maak het toestel regelmatig schoon om slijtage van het oppervlaktemateriaal te voorkomen. Reinig het toestel met een vochtige, zachte doek. Gebruik enkel neutrale detergenten. Gebruik geen schurende producten, detergenten met alcohol, schuursponsen, solventen of metalen voorwerpen. Lucht uit de zakken verwijderen, verzekert perfecte kookresultaten dankzij de homogene warmteoverdracht en behoud van mineralen en vitaminen die anders verloren zouden gaan. Het vacuüm verpakken van voedsel voor bewaring (zie hoofdstuk 8). Voedselmarinades/infusies (zie hoofdstuk 8). AAN/UIT knop Controlepaneel Deksel Reservoir Afdichtstaaf 3.1. Accessoires Hoge dichtheid platen De geleverde zakken zijn ideaal voor de sous vide vacuüm kookmethode. Met deze zakken kan voedsel bewaard en gekookt worden op temperaturen van 0 C tot 120 C (op 120 C raden we aan ze maximum 30 minuten te gebruiken). Eens geopend, kunnen ze gebruikt worden in de microgolfoven. Zakken bestelcode: zakken voor vacuüm koken en bewaren (25 stuks, afmetingen: 20x30 cm + 25 stuks, afmetingen: 25x35 cm) Externe vacuüm fitting (zie hoofdstuk 9).

32 VOORAFGAAND AAN EERSTE GEBRUIK WAARSCHUWING! Raadpleeg de hoofdstukken over veiligheid De eerste keer reinigen Verwijder alle onderdelen van het toestel. Reinig het toestel vooraleer u het voor de eerste keer gebruikt De eerste keer aansluiten Sluit het toestel aan op de stroomtoevoer. Gebruik de AAN/UIT knop -1- links op het controlepaneel om het toestel aan te zetten. Vooraleer het toestel te gebruiken, start met het Conditionering programma zoals hieronder beschreven: Sluit het deksel met het lege reservoir Selecteer programma P7 met de toetsen -9- en Druk op Start -8-. Wacht totdat de cyclus klaar is (ongeveer 3 minuten) Aan het einde van de cyclus verschijnt terug P7 op het scherm Nu is de machine klaar voor gebruik. 5. 33 DAGELIJKS GEBRUIK Raadpleeg de hoofdstukken over veiligheid Zet het toestel met de AAN/UIT knop -1- en wacht totdat op het scherm het laatst gebruikte programma verschijnt (bv. P1). Doe het deksel open en plaats de zak met het te verpakken voedsel in het reservoir, waarbij u minstens 2 cm ruimte laat tot aan de afdichtstaaf (zie afbeelding) Bij kleine verpakkingen, gebruik de geleverde vulplaat om de zak in de juiste positie te brengen ten opzichte van de afdichtstaaf. NEDERLANDS 32 Sluit het deksel en selecteer het vereiste programma door op VERMINDER/VERMEERDER te drukken -9-, en -10- en druk dan op Start -8-. Tijdens het vacuüm verpakken toont het scherm de vooruitgang (in percentage) totdat de ingestelde waarde bereikt is. Het scherm toont nu de afdichttijd, waarna de omgevingsdruk in het reservoir wordt hersteld. U kunt het deksel openen van zodra het programmanummer (bv. P1) op het scherm verschijnt. Programma s P1 tot P5 kunnen ingesteld worden volgens de vereisten van de consument. Standaard is het vacuüm ingesteld op 99,9% en de aanbevolen afdichttijd voor de geleverde zakken is 2 seconden. Deze parameters zijn geschikt voor normaal gebruik van de machine.
