Even the smallest detail is carefully considered. Before we put our brandname on a product, countless designs have ended in the trashcan. The comfort of our clothing is of the utmost importance, and the fit is adjusted by hand just until the product perfectly suits our demands and your wishes. When looking good just isn t good enough. Dit is onze slogan die de visie van het bedrijf vertegenwoordigt. Het gaat niet alleen om het maken van mooie kleding, het gaat om zelfvertrouwen, verlangen, uitstraling en opvallen in de massa. Achter ieder product van Sanwin Beachwear zit een gedachte en een verhaal, zelfs over de kleinste details wordt nagedacht. Voordat we ons merk op een product zetten zijn er al talloze ontwerpen in de prullenbak beland. Ook het draagcomfort van onze kleding staat hoog in het vaandel, de pasvorm wordt met de hand aangepast, net zolang totdat het perfect aansluit bij onze eisen en uw wensen.

4 4 The Story Het verhaal An airline pilot flies around the world, discovers exclusive brands, meets professional designers and visit exotic beaches. He gets an idea. Back in the Netherlands he discusses this with his best friend and his father. Together they decide to combine all this into new beachwear brand for men. That's the story behind Sanwin Beachwear. "When looking good is just not good enough. Sanwin s philosophy: the products have to appeal to men who are into fashion, the quality must be of a high standard and, very important, the service has to be excellent. In May 2014, the first product, the "Maimi swim short was launched. Promotion was done exclusively online through social media. The reactions were positive; the customers were very pleased about the shorts and the service of the company. Due to these good results, the company was expanding and, especially after some investors stepped in, in 2015 development of more beachwear products for men could be started. Also some (fashion) retailers showed interest in Sanwin Beachwear, which resulted in Sanwin products being available in a number of quality stores, in addition to the Sanwin web shop. Terug in Nederland bespreekt hij dit met zijn beste vriend en zijn vader. Samen besluiten zij dit alles te combineren tot een eigen nieuw beachwear merk voor mannen. De filosofie van Sanwin: de producten moeten modebewuste mannen aanspreken, de kwaliteit moet van hoog niveau zijn en, heel belangrijk, de service moet uitstekend zijn. In mei 2014 werd het eerste product, de Miami zwemshort gelanceerd. De promotie werd uitsluitend online via social media gedaan. De reacties waren zonder uitzondering positief, klanten waren zeer te spreken over de zwemshort en over de service van het bedrijf. Door deze goede resultaten kon het bedrijf groeien en, zeker nadat enkele investeerders in het bedrijf stapten, kon in 2015 gestart worden met de ontwikkeling van meer beachwear producten voor mannen. Ook bleek er interesse voor Sanwin Beachwear door (mode)winkeliers, met als resultaat dat in de loop van 2015 de Sanwin producten, naast in de eigen webshop, ook te verkrijgen zijn bij een aantal speciaalwinkels in Nederland. This short is produced in a father & son line; the same print is used for adults (father) and children (son). The design for the Molokai shorts has been made exclusively for Sanwin Beachwear by Gracia Artigas. This is what Gracia tells us about the shorts: In 2015 introduceert Sanwin een nieuwe zwemshort lijn: de Molokai. Dit short wordt in een zogenaamde father & son uitvoering geproduceerd; dezelfde print wordt gebruikt voor zowel een short voor volwassenen (father) en kinderen (son). Het ontwerp voor de print op de Molokai is exclusief voor Sanwin Beachwear gemaakt door Gracia Artigas. Dit is wat zij zelf hierover vertelt:
