Montage thermostaat (optioneel).7 Typeplaat invullen Aansluiting op een andere spanning dan vermeld op het typeplaatje kan schade aan het element tot gevolg hebben (zie ook paragraaf.7). Elementen zonder kap dienen op een dusdanige manier te worden ingebouwd dat alle elektrische aansluitingen worden afgeschermd volgens de geldende normen. Het verwarmingselement moet beveiligd zijn tegen oververhitting (niveau regeling of beveiligings thermostaat). Aansluiten Technische specificaties. Afmetingen. Technische gegevens.. Type IS 0.. Type IS.. Type IS 00.. Type IS 70 inleiding De I.S. serie inschroef verwarmingselementen kunnen worden geleverd in typen. Per type zijn er acht verschillende aansluitmogelijkheden. De verwarmingselementen zijn speciaal ontworpen voor het verwarmen van (drink)water. Andere media kunnen ook verwarmd worden na overleg met en toestemming van Het verwarmingselement dient rechtstreeks in het waterreservoir te worden geschroefd. De temperatuur van het te verwarmen water kan worden ingesteld met een regelbare thermostaat welke als optie leverbaar is. MONTAGE De montage van het inschroefverwarmingselement kan verdeeld worden in de volgende vijf hoofdstappen.. Montage verwarmingselement in het te verwarmen vat.. Montage kabelinvoerwartel aan het huis.. Montage huis aan het verwarmingselement.. Aansluiten van de bedrading.. Montage deksel of thermostaat.. Montage verwarmingselement in het te verwarmen vat Schuif de pakking (7 zie figuur.) over het verwarmingselement. Monteer het verwarmingselement (sleutelwijdte 70 mm) met de aangebrachte pakking horizontaal of verticaal in een daarvoor aangebrachte voorziening (gat of schroefdraad sok) in het te verwarmen vat. NB! Gebruik bij een gat een contramoer (½ BSP). Montage kabelinvoerwartel aan huis. Bedoeld gebruik De inschroef verwarmingselementen zijn speciaal ontworpen voor het verwarmen van water.. Gebruikte symbolen Gebruik van dit verwarmingselement in een ander medium dan water is onder bepaalde voorwaarden mogelijk. Sinus-Jevi kan u hierover informeren. Waarschuwing! De aansluitmogelijkheden worden beschreven in hoofdstuk Aansluiten. - Sluit de aardedraad aan op de daarvoor bestemde plaats met behulp van een kabeloog en een schroef. Fig. Fig. 7. Thermostaat Fig. De thermostaat kan optioneel geleverd worden, in drie instelbereiken (0-0 C, 0-8 C en 0-0 C) en een maximaal schakelbereik van 00V-A. - Plaats de rubber pakking () tegen de thermostaatkap (). - Sluit de bedrading aan zoals aangegeven in hoofdstuk Aansluiten. Gebruik hiervoor de speciale verbindingsdraad (8) en de kabelschoen (7) die op de thermostaat (9) worden aangesloten. Zie ook de inzet. - Schuif de thermostaatvoeler () zo ver als mogelijk in de middelste buis van het verwarmingselement, zie inzet. Let op dat de afscherming om het capilairbuisje goed in de thermostaatvoelerbuis is meegeschoven, zodat het capilairbuisje geen contact maakt met spanningvoerende delen. Let op dat het capilairbuisje voorzichtig wordt behandeld, knikken of scherpe bochten doen het buisje onherstelbaar beschadigen. - Monteer de thermostaatkap () m.b.v. de schroeven () en de veerringen () aan het huis (). Opmerking: Bij montage van een thermostaat blijft het deksel (fig.. positie ) over..7 Typeplaat invullen Montage deksel Fig.. Montage deksel. Schroef. Veerring. Deksel. Rubber pakking. Huis - Plaats de rubber pakking () tegen de binnenzijde van het deksel (). - Monteer het deksel () m.b.v. de schroeven () en veerringen () aan het huis. (). Fig. In de verpakking bijgeleverd bevindt zich een strookje typeplaten. Kies het juiste type uit en vul de waarden (spanning en vermogen) erop in zoals het verwarmingselement is aangesloten. Plak het typeplaatje vervolgens op de zijkant van het huis. Plaats tevens de bijgevoegde sticker NIET OPENEN... op de kap.

Type IS 70 general The IS series screw mount immersion heating elements can be delivered in basic types. Per type 8 different possible connections apply. The heating elements have been designed for the heating of (potable) water. Other media can also be heated after consultation and permission by Mounting Connecting to a tension other than engraved on the type plate may cause damage to the heating element (please also refer to paragraph.7) Elements without cover are to be installed in such a way that all electrical connections are shielded according to local regulations. The heating element must be protected against overheating (level control or safety thermostat) The mounting of the immersion screw-in type heating element can be divided in the following steps:. Mounting of the heating element in the heater vessel. Mounting the cable gland to the housing. Mounting of the housing to the heating element. Wire connection. Mounting of the lid or thermostat. Mounting the heating element into the heater vessel Slide the seal (item 07, see figure.) over the heating element Mount the heating element (spanner width 70mm) with the gasket horizontally or vertically into a mounting hole or threaded boss in the vessel. P.S.: Use a gland-nut upon hole mounting (½ BSP). Intended use The screw-in type immersion heating elements have been specially designed for heating of (clean & fresh) water.. The connection possibilities are described in chapter Connection possibilities. - Connect the earth lead up to the intended position by means of a cable lug and screw.. Mounting the lid Fig.. Housing Fig. - Place the rubber packing (It. 0) against the thermostat lid (It. 0) - Connect the wiring as indicated in chapter Connection possibilities. Use the special connection lead (It. 08) and the cable lug (It. 07) which are connect to the thermostat (It. 09). Refer to enlargement. - Slide the thermostat sensor bulb as far as possible into the centre tube of the heating element, refer to enlargement. Ensure the shield surrounding the capillary tube has slid into the sensor tube properly in order to ensure the capillary tube is not in contact with tension bearing parts. Ensure the capillary tube to be handled with care, sharp bends can cause fatal damage. - Mount the thermostat lid (it. 0) using the screws (It. 0) and spring washers (It. 0) to the housing (it. 0). Remark: Upon mounting of the thermostat the lid is a left over (fig.. It. 0)..7 Filling out the type plate Delivered in the packaging is a strip of type plates. Choose the correct type and fill out the values (tension and power) conform the connection of the heating element. Next mount the type plate to the side of the housing. Also attach the sticker DO NOT OPEN to the lid. - Place the rubber gasket (It. 0) to the inner-side of the lid (It. 0) - Connect the earth lead up to the intended position by means of a cable lug and screw. - Mount the lid (It. 0) using the screws (It. 0) and the spring washers (It. 0) to the housing (It. 0) Fig.
