5 Inburgeren Als je gaat wonen in een land waarvan je de taal niet spreekt en de regels en gebruiken niet kent, dan kan het erg lastig zijn om je dan ook thuis te gaan voelen. Je komt minder snel aan werk, je sociaal netwerk blijft beperkt en je voelt je niet geaccepteerd. Inburgeren is daarom een van de eerste acties die je kunt ondernemen om te voorkomen dat je geïsoleerd zult raken in je nieuwe thuisland. Volgens de Nederlandse wet is inburgeren verplicht voor mensen die niet afkomstig zijn uit de Europese Unie. Je kunt dan kiezen voor een inburgeringsexamen of een NT2 staatsexamen om vervolgens de Nederlandse nationaliteit aan te kunnen vragen en een opleiding of werk te vinden. Het kan zijn dat je moeite hebt met het begrijpen van de taal. In dat geval kan het prettig zijn om hulp te krijgen bij het voorbereiden op je examens. Bij ons vind je de juiste mogelijkheden om je op weg naar je diploma te helpen. 5 Over Ambitiouzz Ambitiouzz is een kleine onderneming met een sociale invalshoek die zich erop richt om voor werkzoekenden, die dat graag willen maar daar toch hulp bij nodig hebben, de kansen op werk te vergroten. Dit doet Ambitiouzz door het ontwikkelen, managen en/of uitvoeren van projecten en activiteiten gericht op sociale activering, inburgering en re-integratie. Doel Met de trajecten en trainingen gericht op inburgering wilt Ambitiouzz bereiken dat je op een effectieve manier voorbereid wordt op de inburgering- of NT2 staatsexamens zodat de kans voor het behalen van een diploma verhoogd wordt. Ambitiouzz wilt uiteindelijk dat jij zo veel mogelijk gebruik kunt maken van de moge lijkheden om je verder te ontwikkelen waardoor je kansen op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt steeds groter worden.

9 Het inburgeringstraject Het inburgeringstraject van Ambitiouzz bestaat uit 6 inburgeringsmodules die jou voorbereiden op de inburgeringsexamens van Dienst Uitvoering en Onderwijs (DUO). Deze zijn: - Spreekvaardigheid, leesvaardigheid, luistervaardigheid en schrijfvaardigheid Om op het examen te kunnen laten zien dat je de Nederlandse taal kunt spreken, lezen en verstaan, wordt je tijdens het inburgeringstraject voorbereid door middel van de modules spreekvaardigheid, leesvaardigheid, en luistervaardigheid. De module schrijfvaardigheid bereidt je voor zodat je op het examen kunt laten zien dat je in de Nederlandse taal kunt schrijven. - Oriëntatie op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt (ONA) Om deze module te behalen moet je een portfolio opbouwen. Ambitiouzz helpt je met het invullen van de zogenaamde resultaatkaarten en het verzamelen van de bijbehorende bewijzen over werken in Nederland. Als je in je eigen land een diploma hebt behaald, dan is het mogelijk deze diploma meteen (gratis) te laten waarderen. Als alles is goedgekeurd door Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) volgt er een examen in de vorm van een gesprek. - Kennis van de Nederlandse maatschappij Je wordt hier voorbereid op het beantwoorden van vragen over Nederland. Denk hierbij aan vragen over werk zoeken of een huis huren of over opleidingen in Nederland. 9

10 Niveau s: A0-A1 en A1-A2 Om uiteindelijk een inburgeringsexamen te kunnen doen, moet je niveau A2 kunnen beheersen. Doorstroom: Diploma inburgeringexamen naar opleiding MBO niveau Duur totale inburgeringstraject: 3 tot 12 maanden Hoe snel je het traject uiteindelijk doorloopt ligt helemaal aan jouw startniveau, hoe snel je leert en hoe erg je gemotiveerd bent! Tijdsbesteding: 1 tot 2 dagdelen per week Het NT2 staatsexamentraject Ambitiouzz biedt een NT2 staatsexamentraject voor mensen die midden- of hoog opgeleid zijn en die het examen op een hoger niveau willen behalen. Je wordt hierbij voorbereid op het staatsexamen. De te volgen modules zijn: Spreekvaardigheid, leesvaardigheid, luistervaardigheid, schrijfvaardigheid, oriëntatie op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt. Niveaus: B1 met een startniveau van A1-A2 (voor staatsexamentraject 1) B2 met een startniveau van A2-B1 (voor staatsexamentraject 2) Doorstroom: Certificaat voor NT2 staatsexamen 1 naar opleiding MBO niveau Certificaat voor NT2 staatsexamen 2 naar een opleiding HBO/universitair niveau 10

11 Duur totale NT2 staatsexamentraject : 6 tot 12 maanden Hoe snel je het traject uiteindelijk doorloopt ligt helemaal aan jouw startniveau, hoe snel je leert en hoe erg je gemotiveerd bent! Tijdsbesteding: 2 tot 4 dagdelen per week Examentrainingen Voor het inburgerings- en staatsexamen is het mogelijk om bij Ambitiouzz de examentraining te volgen. Tijdens de trainingen oefen je met hetzelfde soort examenmateriaal zoals je die op het examen krijgt. Je went dan aan de vragen en de manier waarop je straks je inburgeringsof staatsexamen gaat afleggen. Onze docenten begeleiden je hierbij en helpen je extra met onderdelen van het examen die je iets moeilijker vindt. Het is wel belangrijk dat je voor deze trainingen al niveau A2 beheerst, zodat je de leerstof makkelijker en sneller kunt begrijpen. De examenonderdelen waarvoor je zult oefenen zijn: Spreekvaardigheid, leesvaardigheid, luistervaardigheid, schrijfvaardigheid, kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij (bij inburgeringstraject), oriëntatie op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt (ONA) 11

13 Intake Wanneer je er een goed gevoel bij hebt en besluit met Ambitiouzz aan de slag te willen gaan dan wordt je, na je aanmelding, uitgenodigd voor een intake. Tijdens deze intake maken we kennis met elkaar en wordt je taalniveau beoordeelt zodat je later ingedeeld kunt worden in een groep die bij je niveau past. Docenten en lessen De docenten waarmee Ambitiouzz werkt zijn enthousiast en vakbekwaam. Ze hebben doorgaans veel ervaring opgebouwd waardoor de cursussen en begeleiding die je krijgt goed onderbouwd zijn. Ze zijn erop ingesteld om je goed voor te bereiden op de examens die zullen volgen op de cursussen. De docenten begeleiden klassikaal maar als dat nodig is, kun je ook individuele coaching krijgen. 13 Onder andere met behulp van erkend lesmateriaal zal er inhoud worden gegeven aan de cursussen. De cursussen en trainingen zijn ook nog lekker actief en inspirerend zodat je het altijd wel leuk vind om een les bij te wonen! De cursussen hebben allen vaste startmomenten. Zodat je samen met de groep (4-9 personen) op hetzelfde moment start en eindigt met een module. Een overzicht met de startmomenten kun je terugvinden op de website van Ambitiouzz. De leslocaties zijn in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Lesgeld Soms zijn de kosten voor een traject of examentraining net iets te hoog om zelf te kunnen betalen. Er bestaat dan misschien de mogelijkheid om geld te lenen bij DUO. Je kunt geld lenen voor een: inburgeringstraject inburgeringstraject inclusief examen NT2 Staatsexamentraject (dus niet voor het examen zelf)

18 AMBITIOUS INTEGRATION Integration Imagine you are living in a country where you don t speak the language and don t know the rules and habits. It then can be very difficult to fit in and to feel at home. You will have fewer chances to find work, your social network is limited and you don t feel accepted. To integrate is therefore one of the first actions you can take to avoid getting isolated in your new home country. Integration is mandatory for people who aren t citizens from the European Union. This is decided by the Dutch law. You can choose between an integration exam or an NT2 State exam. After that you can apply for the Dutch nationality and start a study or find work. It may be that you have trouble understanding the language. In that case it can be nice to get help preparing for your exams. With Ambitiouzz you will find the right opportunities to help you getting your integration diploma. About Ambitiouzz Ambitiouzz is small business with a social angle which focus is on job seekers, who wants to increase their chances for finding work and who need some assistance to realise this. 19 The target group The target group of the integration program, NT2 State program and trainings concerns women and men who: are citizens other than of the European Union; want to speak and understand the Dutch language; want to know more about the habits and customs that are common in the Dutch society; wish to apply for the Dutch nationality; wants to have better chances for taking part on the Dutch labor market. Integration especially for women! Do you feel more comfortable and more freely when you are able to develop in a group especially for women? We offer you this possibility! Together with Foundation PowerLady, Ambitiouzz offers integration programs like Women & Work where your talents and ability to integrate will get enough of space. Are you not required to integrate? Then it can be also wise to get your integration diploma. You ll be able to apply for the Dutch nationality; you will learn the Dutch language, which can transfer you to an (higher) education and increase your opportunities to work. 20 INTEGRATION WE DO LIKE THIS! The integration program The integration program of Ambitiouzz has 6 modules that prepare you for the integration exams of Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO). These are: -Speaking skills, reading skills, listening skills and writing skills During the integration program you will be prepared to demonstrate at the exam that you can speak, read and understand the Dutch language. The modules speaking skills, reading skills and listening skills will help you with it. The module writing skills will prepare you to demonstrate at the exam that you can write in the Dutch language. -Knowledge of Dutch society In this module you ll be prepared to answer questions about the Netherlands. This includes questions for example about job search or rent a house or about training in Netherlands. -Orientation on the Dutch labor market (ONA) In order to achieve this module you must built up a portfolio. This portfolio contains the socalled results cards. Ambitiouzz will help you filling out these results cards and collecting the corresponding evidence about working in the Netherlands. If you have awarded a diploma in your own country, then it is possible to assess this diploma immediately (for free). When everything is approved, by the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO), the following step is an exam which is a conversation about the portfolio. Levels: A0-A1 en A1-A2 To eventually take part of the integration exam, you should be able to master level A2. 20

21 Flow: With your integration diploma you can study at the secondary vocational education. Duration total integration program: 3 to 12 months The speed of your process is entirely up to your starting level, how fast you learn and how much you are motivated! Time commitment: 1-2 weekly sessions The NT2 State exam Ambitiouzz also has a program for people who are middle or highly educated and who want to achieve a higher level on the exam. This is called the NT2 State exam program. You will be prepared for the State exam. The modules are speaking skills, reading skills, listening skills, writing skills and orientation on the Dutch labour market (ONA). Levels: B1 with a starting level of A1-A2 (for State exam program 1) B2 with a starting level of A2-B1 (for State exam program 2) Flow: With you certificate of a NT2 State exam program 1 you can study at the secondary vocational education With you certificate of a NT2 State exam program 2 you can study at the higher education or University Duration total integration program: 6 to 12 months The speed of your process is entirely up to your starting level, how fast you learn and how much you are motivated! 22 Training for exams Ambitiouzz offers you the possibility to follow practicing and training for the integration exam or the State exam. During the training you will practice with the same type of exam material as you get on the exam. You then get used to the questioning and the form of the exam. Our teachers will guide you and help you with extra parts of the exam, which are difficult to you. It is important that for these trainings you already master level 2, so you can understand the course material easier and faster. The modules for the exam parts are speaking skills, reading skills, listening skills, writing skills and, knowledge of the Dutch society, orientation on the Dutch labour market (ONA). GETTING STARTED WITH INTE- GRATION! Intake Yes! You are feeling good about this and you ve decided that you want to do business with Ambitiouzz! After your registration, you will be invited for an intake. During this intake we are introduced to each other. We will also look to the level of your Dutch language so you can be classified in a group in which you fit. Teachers and classes The teachers, which Ambitiouzz works with, are enthusiastic and skilled in their work. They have build up a lot of experience, which they can use while making the courses and guidance you get, to a good quality. The teachers are set out to get you well prepared for the exams that will follow after the courses. The teachers guide classical but if necessary, you can also get individual coaching. 22

23 During the classes recognized teaching materials and other instruments will be used. The courses and training sessions are also active and inspiring so you never want to miss one! All the courses have fixed start times. So you start and end at the same time together with the rest of the group (4-10 persons). Lecture fee Sometimes the cost for a program or exam training is too high to pay yourself. In that case, maybe there is an opportunity for a loan at DUO.
