36 The design entity Eindpresentatie 11 Mei 2010 BSc 6 Het theater Nienke Sassen Concept: Waar kijkers ontmoeten Plattegronden: De vorm geeft richting aan de openbare ruimte en zorgt ervoor dat bezoekers naar de ingang geleid worden. Tevens biedt de vorm gelegenheid om twee kijkers te maken om optimaal het uitzicht te benutten. Het programma wordt in het horizontale vlak geordend aan de hand van twee symmetrieassen. In het verticale vlak wordt het programma aaneengeregen door twee cilindervormige vides die door lopen tot aan het dak. Op deze manier worden de werelden van de bezoeker en de artiest ook verbonden. Storytelling Referenties: Neutelings Riedijk - Shipping and Transport College De kijker op de BG is van de grond opgetild. 2e Verdieping Grid 3XN Architects - BIMhuis Een toneelzaal bevindt zich in de kijker. Viewing stances Bijvoet en Holt - Stadsschouwburg Nijmegen De kijker staat op kolommen om een doorgang mogelijk te maken. 1e Verdieping Situatie: Begane grond 1:200 Visualisaties: (author, 2010) 1:500 De grote zaal gezien vanuit het standpunt van de artiest. De strookramen bieden gelegenheid om daglicht binnen te laten. Vanuit het cafe kan een blik geworpen worden op het water langs het theater. Uitzicht bij binnenkomst. Door de vides wordt het mogelijk de hele hoogte van het gebouw te ervaren. De entree van het cafetaria.
