1 Sponsor je me? Hallo, Dit jaar willen Mieke en ik proberen om het Mount Everest Basecamp (5364 m) en de top van de Kala Patar (5545 m) in Nepal te bereiken tijdens een trekking van 15 dagen. We willen dit doen ten voordele van Artsen Zonder Grenzen. We proberen dit samen te bereiken voor het goede doel. Tijdens de tocht denken we aan alle AZG medewerkers die waar ook ter wereld medische hulp geven aan de meest kwetsbaren. Daarom vragen wij Uw steun voor Artsen Zonder Grenzen door het sponsoren van deze trekking. Elke gift, hoe klein ook, is meer dan welkom en gaat volledig naar Artsen Zonder Grenzen aangezien wij onze reis en trekking volledig zelf bekostigen. We want to do this for the good cause and support Médecins Sans Frontières. While hiking, I will keep in mind the MSF people working all around the world, giving medical aid to people in need. 4 Doe je mee? Dit jaar willen Mieke en ik proberen om het Mount Everest Basecamp (5364 m) en de top van de Kala Patar (5545 m) in Nepal te bereiken tijdens een trekking van 15 dagen. Om dit te realiseren, komen we op 29 september aan in Nepal en vertrekken we er terug op 20 oktober. We pikken dus ook een paar dagen Kathmandu en omgeving mee. Voor deze 22 dagen betalen we 1795 Euro, exclusief vluchten. Daarin zijn begrepen alle overnachtingen, alle maaltijden tijdens de trekking en het onbijt in Kathmandu, gids en dragers tijdens de trekking en gids in Kathmandu, interne vlucht naar Lukla en terug,... Het team, zonder gids en dragers, bestaat uit 2 tot 8 personen. Mieke en ik zijn momenteel de enigen. Er zijn dus nog 6 plaatsen vrij. Start trekking naar Phakding (2.650 m) 02/10 Trek naar Namche, dat gelegen is op een hoogte van meter 03/10 Acclimatisatiedag in Namche, wandeling naar Shyangboche 04/10 Verder omhoog met een steile klim naar Thame, op m hoogte 05/11 Trek naar Khumjung (3.795 m). 06/10 Wandeldag naar Tengboche, op meter is een mooi klooster gelegen 07/10 Verder stijgen naar Dingboche (4.345 m) 08/10 Acclimatisatiedag; hike naar Imja Khola Valley, Chhukung op m hoogte. 09/10 Trek naar Lobuche (4.935 m), de laatste nederzetting van het Khumbu dal. 10/10 Naar Gorakshep (5.160 m), Everest Base Camp (5.364 m), dan weer terug 11/10 Omhoog naar Kala Patthar (5.545 m).
