2 NORMCOMMISSIE NEN Elektro & ICT Postbus GB Delft Vlinderweg AX Delft T ep@nen.nl 1 Algemene gegevens 1.1 Commissie , Geluid, beeld en Nederlands Normalisatie-instituut 1.2 Werkgebied Het begeleiden van de normalisatie in mondiale en Europese normalisatiecommissies op het gebied van geluid, beeld en multimedia-apparaten en -systemen. NEC 100 treedt op als schaduwcommissie voor CLC/TC 100X, en IEC/TC 100. Voor de volledigheid hier taak en werkgebied van deze commissies: CLC/TC 100X Audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment and related subsystems To monitor the adoption in CENELEC of the technical work from IEC/TC 100 standards in the field of audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment. These standards include specification of the performance, methods of measurement for consumer and professional equipment and their system application as well as interoperability with other systems and equipment. To ensure that any deviation from the IEC standards, such as common modifications, special national conditions and A-deviations, is only in response to a clear and justifiable European need, such as European and national legislative requirements. To strive towards keeping international and European requirements aligned as far as possible (applying the different mechanisms of the Dresden Agreement). To coordinate the work with other standardisation organisations on European level, taking responsibility for applicable mandates from the European Commission and developing its own standards only when necessary. Standards and other deliverables prepared by Technical Area 5 (TA5) of IEC/TC 100 do not fall under the scope of CLC/TC 100X but are covered on European level by

3 3/7 Cable networks for television signals, sound signals and interactive services: To develop harmonised and other European standards and deliverables relating to cable networks including equipment and associated methods of measurement for headend reception, processing and distribution of television and sound signals and for processing, interfacing and transmitting all kinds of data signals for interactive services using all applicable transmission media. These signals are typically transmitted in networks by frequency-multiplexing techniques. This includes for instance regional and local broadband cable networks, extended satellite and terrestrial television distribution systems, individual satellite and terrestrial television receiving systems, and all kinds of equipment, systems and installations used in such cable networks, distribution and receiving systems. The extent of this standardization work is from the antennas and/or special signal source inputs to the headend or other interface points to the network up to the terminal input of the customer premises equipment. The standardization work will consider coexistence with users of the RF spectrum in wired and wireless transmission systems. The standardization of any user terminals (i.e. tuners, receivers, decoders, multimedia terminals etc.) as well as of any coaxial, balanced and optical cables and accessories thereof is excluded. IEC/TC 100 Audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment: To prepare international publications in the field of audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment. These publications mainly include specification of the performance, methods of measurement for consumer and professional equipment and their application in systems and its interoperability with other systems or equipment. Note: Multimedia is the integration of any form of audio, video, graphics, data and telecommunication and integration includes the production, storage, processing, transmission, display and reproduction of such information. 2 Commissiestructuur en relaties 2.1 Nationale structuur Alle werkzaamheden worden gewoonlijk in de hoofdcommissie uitgevoerd. Ga op naar zoeken en vul als zoekterm een van de woorden uit de naam van de commissie in. 5 Werkprogramma, doelstellingen en geplande activiteiten 5.1 Nationaal werk De commissie vergadert meestal eenmaal per jaar. Afhankelijk van het belang in lopende projecten (mondiaal, Europees of nationaal) kan de frequentie opgevoerd worden. 5.2 CEN/CENELEC werk De werkprogramma s van de CLC TCs kunnen gevonden worden op de website van CENELEC.(Ga op Standards Development List of Technical Bodies). Veel van de IEC projecten die Europees geïmplementeerd worden vallen niet onder de verantwoordelijkheid van een CLC/TC. Kamperman 7 Evaluatie en voortgangsrapportage 7.1 Evaluatie over 2014 Afgelopen jaar hebben de kabelexploitanten de gefaseerde inschakeling van LTE/ 4G in de 800 MHz-band door mobiele operators nauwkeurig gevolgd, met het oog op verwachte interferentie hiervan op dienstverlening via de kabel. Klachten als gevolg van daadwerkelijke interferentie zijn, in sommige gevallen in samenwerking met Agentschap Telecom, onderzocht en geanalyseerd. Om interferentie tegen te gaan is een goede hoogfrequent-dichtheid van consumentenelektronica, maar ook van passieve componenten zoals kabels, verdelers en versterkers een vereiste, zo is in de praktijk gebleken. De uitbreiding van het aantal WiFi-Spots en WiFi-hotspots, maar ook van andere gebruikers in de vergunningvrije 2,4 GHz band zorgt voor overbelasting van de beschikbare frequentieruimte voor WiFi. Er is daarom een actieve monitor geweest van de ontwikkeling van de zendvermogens in het spectrum voor WiFi in de 5GHz. Regelgeving omtrent

7 7/7 uitzendvermogen van WiFi is belangrijk om interferentie in de hand te houden. Vanwege veranderingen in de samenstelling van de leden van NLkabel (de fusie van Ziggo en UPC Nederland) en vanwege een reorganisatie bij NLkabel zal NLkabel haar activiteiten op het gebied van standaardisatie per 1 januari 2015 staken.
