AM140 was created to satisfy all of your aquarium biotope s needs. The Manufacturer guarantees his products for 24 months, respecting the current legislation. Any warranty intervention will be carried out exclusively at the Manufacturer s premises. The Customer is responsible for the shipping costs for sending and returning the appliance. The Manufacturer does not take any responsibility for unreliable operation of the product, therefore warranty does not cover: Any installment, modification or repair that is not made by one of SICCE s Customer Assistance technicians or by personnel authorized by SICCE; Improper use of the device, namely not using it conformably to its intended use and without following instructions and regulations for proper use. In order for the warranty to be valid, the Customer must keep the purchase document (receipt or invoice). 4. SAFETY WARNINGS Carefully read the safety warnings described in this Manual, as they provide important indications concerning safety during installation, use and maintenance of the product. 6

This device is designed to be attached to the tank s margin. 4.2 Environmental requirements During operation, the environment s temperature must be between 10 C and 40 C, while pressure must be between 700 and 1060 hpa. 4.3 Technical requirements for safety Safety during use and proper operation of the device are guaranteed if: The lamp is stably and safely anchored to the tank s edge; The electrical system of the involved rooms is properly made and conforms to the current regulations of the country in which the device is being used; Modifications or maintenance are performed by SICCE s authorized personnel; The device is installed and started up following the installation instructions correctly. Do not look directly at the LED lights when turned on and do not place reflecting objects near them, in order to avoid blinding reflections and possible damages from artificial optical radiations. Since the device s metallic parts heat up, do not touch them with bare hands. Do not lean on the device or place objects on its body. The device must be positioned and managed so to never bump into it or to compromise its stability. 4.4 Environmental notes Given article 13 of the Decree Law of 25th July 2005, nr. 151 Implementation of 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/Ce directives, regarding the reduction of use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment, as well as disposal of waste, the device, once disused, is classified as Electric and Electronic device waste (R.A.E.E). The following symbol indicates that the product cannot be disposed, at the end of its service life, as urban waste, but must be disposed separately from other waste, through authorized rubbish collection centers. A proper separation of waste, for the subsequent recycling, treatment and environment-friendly disposal of the disused equipment, helps avoiding possible negative consequences for both environment and health and also favors recycling and/or reuse of the material of which the device is made. Unauthorized disposal of the product by the User implies the application of administrative penalties, as Decree Law nr. 22/1997 (article 50 and followings Legislative Decree nr. 22/1997). 8

9 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina 9 5. DESCRIPTION OF DEVICE AND COMPONENTS The device is designed to be attached to the tank s margin, using the staff included with the lamp. The device is composed of: Lamp body (figure 2) Staff for fixing the lamp on the tank s margin (figure 3) Controller (figure 4) All components assembled (figure 5) 6. INSTALLATION The installation of this product is simple and does not require particular tools. Please pay ATTENTION to the rim of the lamp s transparent plastic parts, they are lasercut and could be SHARP. For installation, proceed as described hereunder: Secure the lamp to the staff, as shown in figure 6, using the special screws; Fasten the stainless steel support to the plastic staff, as in figure 7, using the special screws; Tighten the lamp, fully assembled, to the tank side, as shown in figure 8, using the special black screws; Insert the lamp s cable into the controller s power pack. The controller s purpose is to supply the lamp through low voltage and constant-current, using a 230V cable and safety plug. The controller must be placed so it is protected from possible splashes of water (fig ). We advise installing the controller under the EN IT NL 9

10 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina 10 surface on which the tank is placed. We do not advise keeping the controller too close to a sump or any other water treatment equipment. DO NOT FORCE THE LAMP, PUSHING OR PULLING IT, ONCE SECURED TO THE TANK EDGE. DO NOT COVER THE ALUMINUM HEAT SINK. Now installation in completed and the device may be turned on by inserting the plug in the power socket. 7. MAINTENANCE AND CARE This device does not require particular maintenance. Use a non-abrasive cloth soaked in water for cleaning the parts in transparent plastic and the parts aluminum, used for cooling. The use of any solvent, alcohol or other substance different from water is forbidden, otherwise, the product will be damaged permanently. Using abrasive cloths or any other type of abrasive materials on the all of the lamp s surfaces and accessories is forbidden. 8. L AM140 è pensata per soddisfare al pieno il vostro biotopo marino. Il costruttore garantisce per 24 mesi i propri prodotti, nel rispetto della legislazione vigente. Eventuali interventi di garanzia verranno effettuati esclusivamente presso la sede del Costruttore. Il trasporto e la riconsegna delle apparecchiature sono a carico del Cliente. Il costruttore non assume alcuna responsabilità sul funzionamento inaffidabile del prodotto, e quindi non estende la garanzia nel caso in cui: il montaggio, le modifiche e le riparazioni non siano effettuate da un tecnico del servizio di assistenza SICCE o da personale autorizzato da SICCE; l apparecchio non sia utilizzato conformemente alla sua destinazione d uso e alle norme e alle istruzioni per l uso. Per rendere operativa la garanzia è sufficiente conservare il documento fiscale di acquisto (fattura o scontrino fiscale). 4. AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA Leggere attentamente le avvertenze contenute nel presente Manuale in quanto forniscono importanti indicazioni riguardanti la sicurezza di installazione, uso e manutenzione del prodotto. 4.1 Classificazione e destinazione d uso Si tratta di apparecchio illuminante di Classe II, grado di protezione IP maggiore di X2, fissato in modo permanente e indipendente, 16

L apparecchio è concepito per essere installato bordo vasca. 4.2 Condizioni ambientali Durante il funzionamento la temperatura ambiente deve essere compresa tra 10 C e 40 C, la pressione atmosferica compresa fra 700 e 1060 hpa. 4.3 Condizioni tecniche di sicurezza L utilizzo sicuro e il funzionamento a regola dell arte dell apparecchio viene garantito se: l ancoraggio della lampada al bordo vasca è sicuro dal punto di vista statico; l impianto elettrico dei locali interessati è realizzato secondo la regola dell arte ed è conforme ai requisiti delle norme in vigore nel paese di utilizzo; modifiche o manutenzioni all apparecchio vengono eseguite da personale autorizzato da SICCE. l apparecchio è stato montato e messo in funzione seguendo le istruzioni di installazione correntemente. Non guardare direttamente i led accesi e non inserire oggetti riflettenti in prossimità degli stessi per evitare il pericolo di abbagliamento e possibili danni da radiazioni ottiche artificiali. Non toccare a mani nude la parte metallica dell apparecchio poiché costituisce una superficie calda. Non appoggiarsi né posare alcun oggetto sul corpo dell apparecchio, né appendere oggetti al braccio od al corpo dello stesso, poiché in questo modo non è più garantito un posizionamento sicuro. 18 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina 18 Durante il funzionamento l apparecchio non deve essere coperto poiché in tal modo verrebbe impedito lo scambio termico con l ambiente e potrebbe verificarsi un surriscaldamento di parti dell apparecchio. L apparecchio va posizionato e gestito in modo da non urtarlo e non compromettere la stabilità dello stesso. 4.4 Note ambientali Ai sensi dell art.13 del D.L. del 25 luglio 2005, n. 151 Attuazione delle direttive 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE e 2003/108/CE, relative alla riduzione dell'uso di sostanze pericolose nelle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche, nonché allo smaltimento dei rifiuti, l apparecchiatura è considerata Rifiuto di Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche (R.A.E.E.). Il seguente simbolo indica l obbligo di non smaltire il prodotto, alla fine della propria vita utile, come rifiuto urbano, ma di smaltire il prodotto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti, tramite centri di raccolta autorizzati. L adeguata raccolta differenziata per l avvio successivo dell apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientale compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l apparecchiatura. Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell'utente comporta l'applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative di cui al D.L.n.22/1997 (art. 50 e seguenti D.Lgs.n.22/1997). 18

19 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina DESCRIZIONE DELL APPARECCHIO E COMPONENTI L apparecchio è concepito per essere fissato a bordo vasca tramite la staffa in dotazione. L apparecchio è costituito da: Corpo lampada (fig.2) Staffa fissaggio a bordo vasca (fig.3) Controller (fig.4) Assemblato (Fig.5) 6. ISTALLAZIONE L installazione di questo prodotto è semplice e non necessita di attrezzature particolari. Fare ATTENZIONE al bordo della plastica trasparente della lampada perché essendo lavorato laser potrebbe risultare TAGLIENTE! Per il montaggio procedere in questo modo: Fissare l illuminatore alla staffa come in figura 6 utilizzando le apposite viti; Fissare il supporto inox alla staffa in plastica come in figura 7 utilizzando le apposite viti; Stringere la lampada (completamente assemblata) al bordo vasca come in figura 8 tramite le apposite viti nere; Inserire i cavi della lampada nei alimentatori controller come in figura 9. Il controller serve ad alimentare in bassa tensione e a corrente costante la lampada tramite cavo di rete 230 V e presa di sicurezza. I controller vanno posizionati in modo da essere al riparo da schizzi d acqua (vedi Fig ). EN IT NL 19

Si sconsiglia anche di non tenerli troppo vicino ad una eventuale sump o qualsiasi altro apparecchio per il trattamento dell acqua della vasca. NON FORZARE SPINGENDO O TIRANDO LA LAMPADA QUANDO MONTATA A BORDO VASCA. NON COPRIRE IL DISSIPATORE IN ALLUMINIO. 7. MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA L apparecchio non ha bisogno di particolari manutenzioni. Utilizzare un panno di tessuto non abrasivo bagnato con acqua per la pulizia della plastica trasparente e dell alluminio di raffreddamento. E vietato l uso di qualsiasi solvente, alcool o sostanza diversa dall acqua pena il danneggiamento permanete del prodotto. E vietato l uso di panni o altri materiali abrasivi di qualsiasi genere sulle superfici della lampada e dei suoi accessori. Ora il montaggio è terminato e si può accendere il dispositivo inserendo la spina nella presa. 20

AM140 is gemaakt om aan de behoeften van uw aquarium biotoop te voldoen. De fabrikant geeft een garantie af voor zijn producten gedurende 24 maanden, met inachtneming van de huidige wetgeving. De garantieclaim kan alleen worden gedaan bij het hoofdkantoor van de fabrikant. De klant is verantwoordelijk voor de verzendkosten voor het verzenden en retourneren van het apparaat. De fabrikant neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid bij onbetrouwbaar gebruik van het product en verleent dus geen garantie indien: Elke installatie, wijziging of reparatie die niet is gedaan door een van de SICCE's Customer Assistance technicians of door geautoriseerd personeel van SICCE; Onjuist gebruik van het apparaat, het niet conform het beoogde gebruik en zonder en het volgen van voorschriften en aanwijzingen voor juist gebruik. Om voor garantie in aanmerking te komen moet de klant de aankoopbon (bon of factuur) behouden. 4. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN Lees aandachtig de veiligheidsvoorschriften door die beschreven zijn in deze handleiding. Ze geven u belangrijke aanwijzingen met betrekking tot de veiligheid tijdens de installatie, gebruik en onderhoud van het product. 26

Dit apparaat is ontworpen om te worden geïnstalleerd aan de rand van het aquarium 4.2 Omgevingseisen Tijdens het gebruik moet de omgeving de temperatuur hebben tussen de 10 C en 40 C, terwijl de druk tussen de 700 en 1060 hpa moet zijn. 4.3 Technische eisen voor de veiligheid De veiligheid tijdens het gebruik en de goede werking van het apparaat worden gegarandeerd indien: De lamp stabiel en veilig is bevestigd aan de rand van het aquarium; Het elektrische systeem van de gebruikte ruimte is goed gemaakt en voldoet aan de huidige regelgeving van het land waar het apparaat wordt gebruikt; Wijzigingen of onderhoud worden uitgevoerd door bevoegd personeel van SICCE; Het apparaat is correct geïnstalleerd en opgestart volgens de installatie-instructies. Kijk niet rechtstreeks in het LED-licht wanneer het is ingeschakeld en plaats geen reflecterende voorwerpen in de buurt, om verblindende reflecties en mogelijke schade als gevolg van kunstmatige optische straling te voorkomen. Omdat metalen onderdelen van het apparaat warm kunnen worden raden wij niet aan deze met blote handen aan te raken. Leun niet op het apparaat of plaats er geen EN IT NL 27

28 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina 28 voorwerpen op. Verder raden wij af om voorwerpen aan de bevestigingsarm te hangen, anders kan de veiligheid niet langer worden gegarandeerd. Dek het apparaat tijdens het gebruik niet af. Het afdekken van het apparaat kan als gevolg hebben dat de warmte niet kan ontsnappen en dat dus onderdelen oververhit raken. Het apparaat moet zo worden bevestigd dat er nooit iets tegenaan kan vallen of de stabiliteit ervan in gevaar kan brengen. 4.4 Milieu overwegingen Gelet op artikel 13 van het wetsbesluit van 25 juli 2005, nr. 151 "Implementatie van 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE en 2003/108/CE richtlijnen met betrekking tot de vermindering van het gebruik van gevaarlijke stoffen in elektrische en elektronische apparatuur, evenals de verwijdering van afval. Het apparaat als niet meer in gebruik, is geclassificeerd als "elektrisch en elektronisch apparaat afval" (Raee). Het volgende symbool geeft aan dat het product niet kan worden afgevoerd aan het einde van zijn leven, zoals stedelijk afval, maar moet apart worden verwijderd van ander afval, via de erkende afval verzamelcentra. Een goede scheiding van afval kan zorgen voor een latere recyclage. De milieuvriendelijke verwijdering van de afgedankte apparatuur voorkomt mogelijke negatieve gevolgen voor zowel het milieu als de gezondheid. Verder maakt het recycling en / of hergebruik van het materiaal waar het apparaat van gemaakt is mogelijk. Ongeoorloofd verwijdering van het product door de gebruiker impliceert de toepassing van administratieve sancties, zoals wetsbesluit 28

BESCHRIJVING VAN HET APPARAAT EN COMPONENTEN Het apparaat is ontworpen om aan de rand van het aquarium te worden bevestigd door middel van de meegeleverde beugel. Het apparaat bestaat uit: Behuizing lamp (figuur 2) Beugel voor het bevestigen van de lamp op de rand van het aquarium (figuur 3) Controller (figuur 4) Alle componenten gemonteerd (figuur 5) 6. INSTALLATIE De installatie van dit product is eenvoudig en vereist geen specifieke gereedschappen. Let op: De rand van de transparante kunststof onderdelen van de lamp zijn laser gesneden en kunnen scherp zijn. Voor installatie gaat u zoals hieronder beschreven te werk: Bevestig de lamp aan de beugel zoals weergegeven in figuur 6 door middel van de schroeven; Bevestig de roestvrijstalen beugel aan het kunststof zoals in figuur 7 met de speciale schroeven; Draai de lamp volledig gemonteerd naar het aquarium zoals getoond in figuur 8, met de speciale zwarte schroeven; Plaats de kabel van de lamp in de controller Power Pack. 30 AM140_istr_EN-IT-NL_cm14x9_stampa:Layout :37 Pagina 30 Het doel van de controller is om de lamp te voorzien van een lage spanning en constante stroom, met behulp van een 230V kabel en veiligheidsstekker. De controller moet worden geplaatst, zodat hij beschermd is tegen het eventuele spatten van het water (fig ). Wij raden aan de controller te installeren in de kast onder het aquarium. Wij raden af de controller dichtbij de sump of andere waterbehandelings apparatuur te plaatsen. FORCEER DE LAMP NIET (DUWEN OF TREKKEN) WANNEER HIJ BEVESTIGD IS AAN HET AQUARIUM. PLAATS NIETS OVER HET ALUMINIUM GEDEELTE Nu de installatie van het apparaat is voltooid kan het ingeschakeld worden door de stekker in het stopcontact te steken. 7. ONDERHOUD Dit apparaat vereist geen speciaal onderhoud. Gebruik een niet schurende doek gedrenkt in water voor het reinigen van de doorzichtige kunststof en aluminium onderdelen. Het gebruik van oplosmiddelen, alcohol of andere stoffen anders dan water raden wij af te gebruiken. Deze producten kunnen blijvende schade aan het apparaat toebrengen. Het gebruik van schurende doeken of een ander type van schurende materialen raden wij af te gebruiken op de onderdelen van het apparaat. 30
