24 Conclusions Reliability testen op wafer nivo (WLR) geeft op een zo vroeg mogelijk stadium inzicht in de betrouwbaarheid en levensduur van IC s en discrete componenten Vergeleken met PLR, worden kosten en tijd bespaard (package bepaalt helft van de kosten van een device ) Bij nieuwe productieprocessen of wijzigingen bepalen WLR testen de uiteindelijke stap tot productie WLR testen worden steeds belangrijker door steeds hogere worden eisen aan performance van devices, en de introductie hierdoor van nieuwe (onbekende) materialmen. Een WLR testsysteem is te configuren met building blocks tot een complete turn-key systeem
