Wij zijn in het bijzonder gespecialiseerd in in-company en maatwerkcursussen, maar verzorgen ook open inschrijvingen. Wij bieden u de mogelijkheid om uw medewerkers on-the-job te trainen en te begeleiden naar een vooraf bepaald doel, waarbij kennis en kunde op een praktische en theoretische wijze wordt overgedragen. Een aap leer je een kunstje, een mens leer je na te denken Elk bedrijf met een installatie heeft een goed beheerssysteem nodig en een vakbekwaam persoon die ermee kan werken. Je kunt deze drie elementen niet van elkaar scheiden. Een vakbekwaam persoon is meer dan iemand die een kunstje geleerd heeft. Een aap leer je een kunstje, een mens leer je na te denken. Quercus biedt u gerichte oplossingen voor de totstandkoming en het beheer van uw elektrotechnische meet- en regelinstallaties. Na het verrichten van een vooronderzoek kan een totaalpakket van maatregelen worden geboden om uw organisatie, middelen, methoden en wetgeving optimaal in te zetten voor een veilige en doelmatige installatie. Wij bieden de kennis en inzicht in de bedrijfsvoering van technische installaties, met gekwalificeerde mensen die weten wat de bedrijfsvoering vraagt. Met onze inspectiediensten bepalen we de status en omvang van de bedrijfsvoering en geven u advies en ondersteuning. Om te komen tot een blijvend resultaat moet borging plaatsvinden. Borging vindt plaats door training en opleiding. Inspecties, adviezen en opleidingen in de markt geven vaak niet het gewenste resultaat. Een inspectie heeft alleen zin als het inspectieresultaat een verbetertraject oplevert voor de bedrijfsvoering. Advies heeft alleen zin als de klant er mee verder kan. Training heeft alleen zin als mensen daardoor beter presteren. Waarom zou je mensen vermoeien met zaken die hun prestaties niet verbeteren en alleen een papiertje geven? Voor een blijvend resultaat moet borging plaatsvinden. Deze borging kunnen wij bieden door training en opleiding. After conducting preliminary research, a set of measures can be offered so your organisation, resources, methods and laws and regulations are optimally applied to ensure a safe and effectual installation. We offer knowledge and insight into the management of technical installations, using qualified people who know what technical management demands. Our inspection services determine the status and scope of the technical management and provide you with advice and support. In order to reach a sustained result, assurances need to be made through securing. Securing occurs through training and education. Inspections, consultancy and trainings currently on market often do not deliver the desired result. An inspection is only useful if the inspection s results yields an improvement programme for the technical management. Consultancy, in turn, is only useful if the client gains progress from it. Trainings are only useful if people actually perform better because of it. Why tire people with matters that do not increase their productivity but merely provide them with a piece of paper? 8 Combinatie van theorie en praktijk Vaak is de effectiviteit van theoretische trainingen niet voldoende. Terug in de eigen omgeving ziet de wereld er vaak toch anders uit. Volgens onderzoek blijkt dat slechts 10% tot 40% van de investeringen in beroepsopleidingen tot uiting komt in veranderingen in de werksituatie. Er ontbreekt een goede transfer tussen leren en werken. Gerichte training die in de praktijk getoetst kan worden is hierbij het sleutelbegrip. Hierin slagen betekent dat de motivatie van de medewerker en daarmee het rendement van de opgedane kennis sterk verhoogd wordt. Dus: praktijkgerichte opleidingen! Quercus zoekt samen met de klant naar de juiste combinatie van theorie met praktijk Quercus koppelt de praktijk aan de theorie en de theorie aan de praktijk. Onze kwalitatief hoogwaardige docenten geven ondersteuning en begeleiding om de kennis en kunde van cursisten te verhogen en de bijbehorende vaardigheden praktijkgericht te oefenen. Een training stopt namelijk niet bij de overdracht aan kennis. Het gaat er uiteindelijk om dat de opgedane kennis wordt en kan worden toegepast in de eigen bedrijfssituatie en praktijk. Mensen begrijpen op deze wijze waar ze mee bezig zijn. En veilig handelen komt in de eerste plaats voort uit vakbekwaamheid. Uiteraard is het behalen van een certificaat een bevestiging van de opgedane kennis, maar wanneer de kennis niet naar de praktijk kan worden vertaald of kan worden toegepast, of de kennis niet voldoende aansluit op de praktijk, is het bijspijkeren van technische kennis alleen absoluut geen oplossing. Snap wat je doet en doe wat je snapt. Zo niet dan is het een geleerd kunstje. Ook een goede voorbereiding op het examen (certificering van de medewerker) is bij ons van essentieel belang. Combination of theory and practice Often the effectiveness of theoretical trainings alone is insufficient. Back in one s own environment, the world looks different more often than not. Research shows that only about 10% to 40% of investments in vocational trainings result in changes in the working situation. A proper transfer between learning and working is missing. In this way, people understand what they are doing. And... safe conduct primarily stems from competence. Naturally, earning a certificate is an affirmation of the knowledge gained, but when the knowledge cannot be translated to practice or cannot be applied, or the knowledge insufficiently connects theory to practice, then merely adding to technical knowledge is not the solution. Understand what you are doing and do what you understand. If not, it is merely a trick somebody learned. 9 In-company courses and custom courses A number of our courses can be held on random locations, mainly such locations as the client s place of work or a centrally chosen location. If the client has access to a space that can serve as a schoolroom or instruction space with the corresponding facilities and equipment, then this can provide some interesting possibilities. Often, notable savings can be made by sending the teacher and the course itself to the client. These savings on course costs, but also on indirect costs such as travelling expenses and absence hours, can be significant. All courses can be tailored to your needs Custom courses can also be provided, after consideration with the client. Often this concerns client-specific situations, where a tight fit to the business is of great importance. Because of our years of experience, we are able to develop a custom course especially for you. Together with the client, we can determine what knowledge areas for the target group need supplementing and what learning modules qualify. In this way a custom course is developed that precisely meets the needs of the client. It is even possible to redevelop specific learning modules. In short, more than enough possibilities. In-company cursussen en maatwerk Een aantal van onze cursussen kunnen op willekeurige locaties gegeven worden, voornamelijk bij de klant thuis of op een centraal gekozen locatie. Als de klant kan beschikken over een ruimte die als les- of instructielokaal kan dienen met de daarbij behorende faciliteiten en uitrusting, kan dit interessante mogelijkheden bieden. Vaak zijn er flinke besparingen mogelijk door docent en cursus naar de klant toe te sturen. 10 Certificering door Certium Werken in de techniek is een spannend beroep. Ook in de letterlijke zin van het woord. In de uitvoering van dagelijkse werkzaamheden komen uw medewerkers in aanraking met de nodige risico s. U kunt deze risico s zo veel mogelijk voorkomen door uw medewerkers te laten certificeren. Voor ons is certificering meer dan het voldoen aan de norm Om bij te blijven in de wereld van de techniek dient er geïnvesteerd te worden in kennis en kunde van medewerkers en de organisatie als geheel. Meer dan ooit vraagt de markt om technisch competent personeel. Installaties moeten blijven draaien en dienen zo veel mogelijk veilig gesteld te worden. Kennis bijbrengen is hierbij een belangrijke component. Echter een aantal jaren uit de running en die kennis is bijna niets meer waard. Dus: investeren in kennis! Certium is een onaf hankelijke organisatie die gespecialiseerd is certificering en examinering van diverse elektrotechnische certificatieschema s, van o.a. Stipel en Quercus Technical Services B.V. Naast het afnemen van technische examens is Certium ook gespecialiseerd in het ontwikkelen van examenvragen over bedrijfseigen voorschriften. In samenwerking met Quercus Technical Services kan een maatwerkcursus voor u worden opgezet. Certium B.V verzorgt aansluitend het examen met een passende examenmethode. De kwaliteit van de examens worden gewaarborgd door onaf hankelijke examencommissies. Deze examencommissie houdt toezicht op het verloop en de uitvoering van de examens. De kwaliteit van de examens van de bedrijfseigen voorschriften kunnen worden gewaarborgd door een onaf hankelijke werkkamer. Deze werkkamer wordt opgericht door Certium in samenwerking met het bedrijf en kan onder toezicht staan van een certificerende instantie. Deze werkkamer houdt toezicht op de kwaliteit, het verloop en de uitvoering van bedrijfseigen examens. Certium kan uw personeel toetsen op hun kennis en kunde van uw elektrotechnische installatie. Zo kunt u te weten komen waar het aan kennis en/of kunde binnen uw organisatie ontbreekt of waar u nog behoefte aan heeft. Zodat er voor u op een adequate manier een oplossing kan worden gezocht voor het gebrek aan kennis en/of kunde. Examinering Quercus biedt u de mogelijkheid om de cursussen af te sluiten met een examen. Ondanks dat dit voor een klant niet altijd een vereiste is, kan dit voor de individuele deelnemer veelal van grote toegevoegde waarde zijn. Zowel voor het praktische als het theoretische gedeelte kan men een examen afleggen. Zowel de theorie- als de praktijkexamens worden afgenomen door Certium. Certium biedt verschillende certificeringsmogelijkheden om een cursus af te sluiten. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn het Stipel certificaat, het Certium certificaat of een bewijs van deelname. In collaboration with Quercus Technical Services B.V. a custom course is set up for you. Certium B.V. provides solely the exam with an appropriate exam method. The quality of the exams is guaranteed by an independent exam committee. This exam committee supervises the course and execution of the exams. The quality of the exams and the company s own instructions can be guaranteed by an independent work group. This work group is set up by Certium in collaboration with the company in question and can be set under supervision of a certifying body. This work group supervises quality, the course and the execution of company-specific exams. Certium can test your personnel on their knowledge and know-how of your electrotechnical installation. In this way you can learn where in your organisation knowledge and/or know-how is lacking or what you still need, in order to find an adequate solution for you for the lack of knowledge and/or know-how. Examination Quercus offers you the possibility to finish courses with an exam. Even though this is not always a requirement for all clients, this can often be of great added value to the individual participant. Both for the practical and the theoretical part an exam can be done. Both the theory and practical exams are conducted by Certium. Certium offers different certification possibilities to finish a course. Examples of this are the Stipel certificate, the Certium certificate or proof of participation. 18 Quercus Technical Services B.V. 19

11 Stipel Om eenheid te creëren in het aanbod aan opleidingen en examens in de elektro-, gas- en warmtetechniek, nam Stichting Persoonscertificatie Energietechniek (STIPEL) het initiatief om in Nederland een eenduidig systeem op te zetten. Uniformiteit in vakbekwaamheid Deze stichting is een initiatief vanuit het bedrijfsleven, met vertegenwoordigers uit verschillende richtingen: werkgevers werknemers certificaathouders certificerende instellingen opleidingsinstituten Daarnaast is het ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid nauw betrokken bij de opzet van Stipel. De examens staan onder verantwoording van DNV en KEMA. Deze Certificatie-instellingen waarborgen de onaf hankelijkheid en kwaliteit van de examens, zorgen voor synergie in de markt, de certificatie en registratie. Periodiek toetst de Raad voor Accreditatie de onaf hankelijkheid en kwaliteit van de Certificatie-instellingen. Medewerkers zonder rijbewijs zet u niet achter het stuur. Zo is het ook met het werken aan elektrische-, gas- en warmte-installaties. Een medewerker met een persoonscertificaat van Stipel op zak is vakbekwaam, en heeft alles in huis om zijn werk goed en risicoloos uit te voeren. Een persoonscertificaat van Stipel is hét rijbewijs voor werken in de energie: het energiebewijs. Stipel To create unity in the trainings and exams on offer in the gas, heat and electrotechnical areas, the Association for Personal Certification for the Energy Technical Industry (STIPEL) took the initiative to set up a clear system in the Netherlands.
