3 Page 3 HRMAN J. PTRS Born in uraçao (Netherlands Antilles), Herman J. Pieters grew up in a notoriously multicultural environment that is proper to the society of this island. The mix of uropean, aribbean and African influences provided him with the necessary background to understand the need to establish business, technological and cultural ties that could seamlessly benefit the island s population. Herman fluently speaks Papiamento (the island s national language), Dutch, nglish and Spanish. All along his professional career, he cumulated the skills and acumen to provide visionary commercial and technical solutions to the communities where he found a home, namely uraçao and Miami, Florida. Since 1998, Herman focused his attention on rescuing the fading story-telling tradition of Nanzi (Anansi) -- a mythical and friendly West African character. Under his diligent creative development, Herman has revived Anansi to a modern version that is interestingly attractive to today s younger generations and still keeping alive the moral of its original stories. He is achieving this monumental endeavor by publishing a series of books and animations. This exceptional educational material has found increasingly popular acceptance and has currently been integrated in uraçao s public school system. Under his direction of the Nanzi Group Foundation, the Anansi stories that he is rescuing are transcending languages and ethnicities and are being told to children around the world.

Na de middelbare school in 1990, ben ik ga studeren in Nederland en tot en met 2004 gewoond. Agogische werker en ommunicatie. Sinds 1998 ben ik begonnen met het vermaken van kinderen op feesten als Gini de lown, waarom een clown, voor een kind betekend de clown, blijheid, gek en feesten. Op mijn eigen manier vermaakte ik de kinderen tijdens een feest of een activiteit. k verkleedde me samen met de kinderen, zodat zij me eerst konden zien wie ik ben en daarna in een clown veranderen. De kinderen vond het leuk want ze mochten me helpen bij het schminken van mijn gezicht. Verder vertelde ik verhaal (die ik zelf heb geschreven), schminken, knutselen en koekjes baken. Dankzij Kompa Nanzi heb ik passie om te lezen en te vertellen. Als ik vertel ga ik zeker terug in de wereld van het kind om mee te genieten tijdens het vertellen van het verhaal. Als verhaalvertelster ben ik begonnen in het jaar 2004, ik werk nauw samen met diverse scholen, Openbare Bibliotheek, Kas di Kultura en stichtingen. Door het vertellen van verhalen en soms uitleg geven over creatief vertellen en opzetten van vertel activiteiten voor kinderen. Mijn doelen als vertelster is; het stimuleren van lezen, het vertelt cultuur naar voren brengen, vertelen en analyseren van verhalen van Antilliaanse en buitenlandse auteurs en mezelf verder ontwikkelen als vertelster, door veel te lezen over onderzoek die zijn gedaan over verhalen, en workshop volgen op uraçao en in het buitenland. Presentatie neemt plaats op scholen, theater, instellingen en bibliotheek. Project in samenwerking met bibliotheek; elke vrijdag middag verhaal vertellen op de jeugdafdeling, activiteiten met betrekking op vertellen en het stimuleren van lezen, tijdens schoolvakanties en sinds 2006 bibliotheek organiseert Luna di chikitin (een speciale maand voor de kleintjes) gedurende maand maart activiteiten speciaal voor de kinderen tussen 2 en 4 jaar. r worden workshop gegeven aan ouders en peuterleider over het voorlezen en verhaal vertellen aan deze doelgroep. n de ochtend uren tijdens deze maand worden peuterscholen uitgenodigd om een uur te geniet van verhalen die worden verteld. Als verteller vertel ik. lk jaar hanteren we een nieuwe thema. Tijdens het Festival kinderboeken week, vertellen bij diversen scholen. Deze activiteit wordt georganiseerd door de Stichting Nana. Tijdens de presentatie van een kinderboek Shervison vindt een schat, geschreven door harlotte Doorheiin. Mee gedaan aan de Literaire Trippelzone 2008 en 2009 in de bibliotheek. 6 Page 6 Nulmeting 2010 n het studiejaar staat een externe kwaliteitsmeting gepland in het kader van de externe kwaliteitszorg van het PA. De externe kwaliteitszorg van het PA kent een compleet traject tot aan de visitatie en accreditatie in De beoordeling van de kwaliteit van de onderwijsinstellingen in het hoger onderwijs in Nederland, Nederlandse Antillen en Aruba geschiedt door de Nederlands-Vlaams Accreditatie organisatie (NVAO). Daartoe dient een door de NVAO erkende Visiterende en Beoordelende nstantie (VB) een rapport over een opleiding te schrijven aan de hand van het Accreditatiekader bestaande opleidingen van de NVAO. De VB schrijft dit rapport op basis van haar oordeel over een opleiding, dat tot stand is gekomen aan de hand van een zelfevaluatierapport van de te accrediteren opleiding en een visitatiebezoek van een VB-panel aan de opleiding. n de loop van 2010 zal de bacheloropleiding leraar primair onderwijs van het nstituto Pedagogico Arubano (PA) te Aruba gevisiteerd worden door de Visiterende en Beoordelende nstantie (VB), HOBON ertificering. De visitatie is in het kader van een nulmeting ter voorbereiding op accreditatie. Het project nulmeting is onderdeel van het FDA projectdossier Hoger Onderwijs (2008). Volgens de planning van het FDA projectdossier dienen de daadwerkelijke visitatie en accreditatie in het jaar 2012 plaats te vinden volgens het Accreditatiekader bestaande opleidingen van de NVAO. De visitatie van HOBON ertificering in 2010 verloopt binnen het project nulmeting en kent zes fases. Fase 1 t/m 4 gaat vooraf aan het bezoek van de VB. Hierin schrijft de opleiding een zelfevaluatierapport waarin de opleiding antwoord geeft op de vragen uit het accreditatiekader en verantwoording aflegt voor de opleiding van studenten naar het niveau van de startbekwame beroepsbeoefenaar op HBO bachelor-niveau. n fase 5 wordt het bezoek voorbereidt (audit op locatie) en georganiseerd. n fase 6 wordt het project waarin alle activiteiten rond de nulmeting zijn ondergebracht, geëvalueerd. Om het kwaliteitszorgtraject van het PA op te zetten, visitaties te laten uitvoeren en accreditatie te kunnen verkrijgen, is besloten om een projectplan in te dienen ter subsidiëring door de Fondo di Desaroyo Aruba. Dit projectplan FDA Projectdossier Hoger Onderwijs Aruba is goedgekeurd en de implementatie fase is volop in uitvoering. De evaluatie en het verlenen van een kwaliteitskeurmerk, accreditatie, van de opleidin-
