2 Human Centric Lighting Deze technologie is bedoeld om iemands welzijn, stemming en gezondheid te bevorderen. Het kan de concentratie, veiligheid en efficiëntie op de werkplek of educatieve omgevingen verbeteren. Het kan genezingsprocessen en de preventie van chronische ziekten ondersteunen bij personen met onregelmatige dagelijkse routines of in de ouderenzorg. Binnen het bereik van het Human Centric Lighting concept kunnen twee belangrijke stromingen worden onderscheiden: Enerzijds het stimuleren van biologisch organisme en cognitieve prestaties. Anderzijds, de creatie van een emotioneel stimulerende omgeving en een aantrekkelijke atmosfeer. Toepassing: Het succes van HCL berust op de keus voor een licht management systemen dat gesynchroniseerd kan worden met het menselijk circadiane ritme (biologische 24-uurs klok). De lichtverdeling wordt aangepast aan de verschillende daglichtcondities en specifieke vereisten van individuen gedurende de dag. Dynamische veranderingen van kleurtemperatuur en verlichtingssterkte, samen met een uitgebreide lichtverdeling van zowel directe als indirecte lichtbronnen, stimuleren het menselijk organisme. Waar conventionele verlichting systemen vaak gebaseerd zijn op een unidirectionele, tijdconstante lichtverdeling, dienen HCL systemen uitgerust te zijn met regeldynamiek, waarbij er een combinatie is tussen verlichting uit meerdere richtingen (indirect), kleurtemperaturen en lichtopbrengst. This technology is intended to promote a person s well-being, mood and health. It can improve concentration, safety and efficiency in workplace or educational environments. It can support healing processes and prevention of chronic diseases among persons with irregular daily routines or in elderly care. Within the range of human centric lighting systems, two major distinctions can be made: On one hand, biologically effective lighting represents lighting systems that are appropriate to stimulate the biological organism, thus improving cognitive performance. On the other hand, emotionally effective lighting systems are designed to create emotionally stimulating environments and appealing atmospheres. Application: The succes of a HCL system relies on an electronic light management systems that can be synchronized with the human circadian rhythm (biological 24-hour clock). The distribution of light is adjusted to the different daylight conditions and specific requirements of individuals throughout the day. This way, dynamic changes of colour temperature and illuminance, along with a wide distribution of light from both direct and indirect light sources, stimulate the human organism. Frequently, conventional lighting systems rely on a unidirectional, time-constant distribution of light, whereas human centric lighting systems leverage not only control dynamics, but also the combination of multiple directions (indirect), colour temperatures and illuminance. 4 Tunable White Controller WALL SENSOR Human Centric Lighting (HCL) valt of staat met de kwaliteit en eenvoud van de lichtaansturing. Met de Tunable White Controller (TWC) kunnen zowel kleine gebouweenheden als grote gebouwencomplexen worden beheert via het DALI protocol. Dankzij de intelligente integratie via DALI protocol van daglicht-, aanwezigheids- en tijdsensoren kan het systeem volledig autonoom functioneren. Naast deze sensoren is TWC systeem ook voorzien van een automatisch circadiaans ritme waardoor met een real time clock ook ieder seizoen een ander lichtritme heeft. Alle Tunable White (TW) armaturen worden standaard voorzien van een BST14i2 connector en kunnen daarom PLUG-and-PLAY aan de TWC worden aangesloten. Er is geen verdere programmering noodzakelijk. Indien een aanpassing toch gewenst is kunnen via de Smartphone zeer eenvoudig aanpassingen op de standaard instellingen worden gedaan. O.a. dagritmes per seizoen of kleurschemas gedurende openingstijden van winkels zijn snel aan te passen. Indien de gebruiker het programma wil onderbreken dan kan dit met het touch panel. Hierop kan eenvoudig met een slider de lichtkleur en intensiteit van de armaturengroep tijdelijk worden aangepast. Human Centric Lighting stands or falls with the quality and simplicity of the lighting controls. The tunable White Controller (TWC) can manage both small building units as well as large building complexes over the DALI protocol. Through the intelligent integration of daylight, presence and time sensors (over DALI), the system can operate autonomously. Besides these sensors, the TWC system is also equipped with an automatic circadian rhythm and with a real time clock that can manage light rhythms depending on the season. All Tunable White (TW) luminaires are fitted with a connector (BST14i2) and can therefore be easily connected to the TWC (PLUG-and-PLAY). No additional programming required. If however an adjustment is desired then via an easy to controll Smartphone App adjustments can be made to the default settings. Daylight rythms per season or colour schemes during business hours of stores are quick and easy to change. Interruption of the program can be done by accessing the sliders on the touch panel. Over één DALI leiding worden zowel de 0K als 6000K LEDs aangestuurd. Sommige armaturen worden uitgerust met een dubbele Dali driver welke alleen via Standard Dali Broadcast Protocol (SDBP) worden aangestuurd. Eén driver voor het 0k kanaal en de andere driver voor het 6000K kanaal. De Tunable White controller kan niet beide protocollen tegelijk aansturen. Indien er binnen één ruimte een armatuur toegepast wordt dat alleen via SDBP aangestuurd kan worden dan dienen ook alle armaturen met enkele DAD driver voorzien te worden van twee DALI drivers voor SDBP sturing. Where possible all tunable white luminaires are supplied with one Dual Address Dali (DAD) driver. Both 0K and 6000K LEDs are controlled over one single DALI line. Some luminaires are equipped with a double Dali driver which can solely be controlled via Standard Dali Broadcast Protocol (SDBP ). One driver for the 0k channel and the other driver for the 6000K channel. The Tunable White controller can not control both protocols simultaneously. If there is one room where a luminaire is used that can only be controlled via SDBP then all fixtures equiped with a DAD driver will have to be produced with two DALI drivers for SDBP as well.

Hierdoor zijn zeer hoge lumenstromen in het 4500K gebied mogelijk. I.c.m. Tuneable White Controller (TWC) zijn de kleuren met elkaar verbonden. Een toename van de ene kleur wordt gecompenseerd met een evenredige afname van de andere kleur.
