Witkamp has been an established name in the import and export of fruits and vegetables for over 75 years. All across Europe, customers find their way to us for our incomparable assortment and our straightforward approach to doing business. In de loop der jaren hebben we een groot netwerk van telers opgebouwd. Wij zijn actief in de meeste Europese landen, maar ook in onder meer Marokko en Israël. Onze afnemers zijn zeer divers. Grote importeurs, supermarktketens, cateraars en marktkooplieden iedereen vindt bij ons wat hij zoekt. Witkamp heeft zijn thuisbasis in Poeldijk, midden in het Westland, het grootste en meest innovatieve glastuinbouwgebied ter wereld. Ons pand op het ABC-terrein is maar liefst 6500 vierkante meter groot, ultramodern en volledig geconditioneerd. Volledig onafhankelijk Zakendoen met Witkamp betekent: heldere afspraken en geen gedoe. Wij spreken klare taal en doen wat we zeggen. U kunt altijd rekenen op een persoonlijke benadering. Wij zijn volledig onafhankelijk. We doen zaken met u en verder hoeven we met niemand rekening te houden. Witkamp begon in 1936 op de Poeldijkse Groenten- en Fruitveiling. Die bestaat tegenwoordig niet meer, maar ons bedrijf bloeit nog steeds. We hebben een lange geschiedenis en daar zijn we erg trots op. Over the course of years we have built up an extensive network of growers. We operate in most European countries, but also in places like Morocco and Israel. We serve a wide range of customers, including large importing companies, supermarket chains, catering firms and market vendors. Everyone can find virtually everything at Witkamp! Witkamp s home base is in Poeldijk, at the heart of the world s largest and most innovative greenhouse horticultural area in the world, Holland s Westland region. Our building on the ABC business park measures no less than 6500 square metres and is fully air-conditioned. And as a fully independent company, we do business with you, without any third party interference. Witkamp started at Poeldijk s Fruit and Vegetable Auction in The auction no longer exists, but our company continues to flourish. We have a long history, and we re proud of it. 2

4 Meest complete assortiment Largest possible assortment 4 Bij ons kunt u overal voor terecht. Daardoor heeft u in principe genoeg aan één leverancier. Onze corebusiness is de directe aanvoer van tomaten en komkommers. Maar dat is zeker niet alles. Van kersen en meloenen tot aubergines en chilipepers het komt allemaal bij ons binnen. Wij leveren het hele jaar rond. Dit is mogelijk door belicht telen in Nederland, maar ook door onze contacten met kwekers in onder meer Spanje. Altijd vers Van één ding kunt u zeker zijn: onze producten zijn altijd vers. Ze komen direct van de teler. Transport en opslag gebeuren vanzelfsprekend geconditioneerd en door gespecialiseerde transporteurs. Door een uitstekende logistieke organisatie liggen onze groenten en fruit in no time in het schap. U bent bij ons aan het juiste adres voor bulkpartijen, maar ook voor kleinere hoeveelheden of consumentenverpakkingen. Wij zijn er voor 25 pallets trostomaten, maar ook voor 2,5 kilo pied-de-mouton. From cherries to melons to eggplant and chili peppers: everything passes through our hands. We supply all year round. This is possible thanks to greenhouse horticulture in the Netherlands, and to our relations with growers in for instance Spain. Always fresh There s one thing you can rely on: our fresh products are always truly fresh. They are sourced directly from the grower and transported and stored under climate-controlled conditions by specialist transportation companies. With our excellent logistical organisation, the fruits and vegetables are on the shelf in no time at all. Whether it s for bulk orders, for smaller quantities or even consumer packagings, Witkamp is the right address for you. We can supply 25 pallets of vine tomatoes, but also 2.5 kilos of hedgehog mushrooms.

6 Eigen merken geven producten smoel Private labels add character Wij leveren een groot aantal eigen merken. Daarmee krijgen groenten en fruit een eigen gezicht. Op die manier kunt u zich onderscheiden. De consument voelt zich immers meer aangesproken door een pakkend merk dan door een naamloos product. In 1946 kwamen we met ons eerste eigen merk: Victory, een hommage aan Winston Churchill. Later kwamen daar Jackpot, Joe s, Rembrandt en Class I bij. Onze merknamen en de bijbehorende logo s spreken allemaal direct tot de verbeelding. Vanzelfsprekend leveren wij onze merken in verpakkingen die duidelijk herkenbaar zijn. We supply products under a large number of private labels. This adds character to particular fruits and vegetables, which in turn helps set the vendor apart. After all, consumers are more attracted to an evocative label than to an anonymous product. We launched our first private label in 1946: Victory, as an homage to Winston Churchill. We later developed the Jackpot, Joe s, Rembrandt and Class I labels. Our labels and associated logos are immediately appealing, and all are of course supplied in distinctive and easily recognisable packaging. 6

8 Witkamp importeert al tientallen jaren groenten en fruit. Deze importactiviteiten hebben wij in 2009 ondergebracht in Witkamp Import. Met dit volwaardige bedrijf kunnen wij klanten en leveranciers nog beter bedienen. Witkamp Import heeft een zeer uitgebreid netwerk van telers in Spanje. Daarnaast hebben we ook uitstekende contacten in onder meer Marokko, Turkije en Israël. Vanzelfsprekend importeren wij het hele jaar rond. De hoofdlijnen zijn onder meer tomaten, komkommers, paprika s en aubergines. Daarbij komen meer gespecialiseerde producten als kruiden, pepers en avocado s. Witkamp Import regelt het volledige logistieke traject voor groupage. Op ons hoofdkantoor in Poeldijk komen dagelijks producten uit verschillende landen binnen voor cross docking of het samenstellen van mixpallets. Witkamp Import has a very extensive network of growers in Spain, plus other excellent relations in countries including Morocco, Turkey and Israel. We import all year round, focusing mainly on tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and eggplant, plus more specialist items like herbs, peppers and avocados. Witkamp Import looks after the full logistical process for groupage shipments. Every day, products from various countries arrive at our head office in Poeldijk for cross-docking and to compile mixed pallets. 8
