2 Plant Asset Management in de praktijk In de proces - en productie automatiseringsindustrie is een tendens zichtbaar om relevante diagnostische informatie uit instrumentatie te ontsluiten ter ondersteuning van een Asset Management strategie die in het bijzonder is gericht op het optimaliseren van onderhoud - en beheersactiviteiten. Endress+Hauser presenteert een praktische aanpak en uitvoering van een Plant Asset Management systeem bij DuPont in Dordrecht.

3 Doelstelling Plant Asset Management (PAM) Definitie Plant Asset Management is een strategie die gericht is op een gestructureerde benadering voor het opereren en onderhouden van de Doel bedrijfsmiddelen (Assets). Plant Asset Management is gericht op het sterk verbeteren van beschikbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid van bedrijfsmiddelen tegen minimale kosten om gedurende de levensduur de opbrengst van het bedrijfsmiddel te maximaliseren. Functie Met Plant Asset Management wordt over het algemeen de onderhoudsactiviteiten aangeduid die de waarde van de productie faciliteit verhoogt of vasthoudt. Plant Asset Management maakt het mogelijk om het risico van vroegtijdige Bedrijfsmiddelen zijn Technologie, Kapitaal en Mensen productie uitval te bepalen en onderhoudsactiviteiten in te plannen.

9 Gen-X Water Abatement project Uitbreiding van bestaand Surfactants Removal Building (verwijderen van oppervlakte actieve stoffen) met een nieuw gebouw (2 lagen - ca. 14 x 14 x 12 m) voor het plaatsen van UF (Ultra Filtratie), NF (Nano Filtratie) en RO (Reversed Osmose) skids. Op het dak is een ECR/ICR container voorzien (Electrical Control Room/Instrument Control Room). Het Gen-X Water Abatement project voorziet in herstel- en verwijderingsinstallaties (afvalwaterbehandeling waarbij chemicaliën uit het afvalwater worden gehaald zodat deze kunnen worden geregenereerd) bij FluoroProducts, Dordrecht Works.

27 NAMUR Recommendation NE 107 Self-monitoring and diagnosis of field devices First issue Status signals and their evaluation Examples of detailed information There are four defined standard signals for all field devices. They tell us about device condition. The defined status signals are: Device is operating normally Maintenance required (M) Check function (C) Off-spec (S) Failure (F) Maintenance needed short-term Maintenance needed mid-term Change of configuration Local operation, Substitute value entered Cause of failure device internal Cause of failure process related Device being operated off-spec Uncertain value due to process influence The self-monitoring and diagnosis results must be mapped to and displayed by these four status signals and kept in readiness by the field device. Status signals must be capable of being generated irrespective of the transmission media used (type of bus, protocol, contacts...)
