They follow the market developments meticulously and respond to the wishes of the consumer. 7 Javimex, Carnicos de Jerez We import horse meat from Mexico under the brand Javimex. This meat is lean, rich in iron and contains a large amount of vitamin B and proteins. National and international veterinary agencies carry out inspections and laboratory tests every day. The horses are not bred and live in rural, open surroundings. Javimex, Carnicos de Jerez Vanuit Mexico importeren wij paardenvlees van het merk Javimex. Dit vlees is mager, rijk aan ijzer en bevat veel vitamine B en eiwitten. Dagelijks voeren (inter)- nationale veterinaire diensten inspecties en laboratoriumtesten uit. De paarden worden niet gefokt en leven in een landelijke, vrije omgeving. 7

As far as possible we keep large stocks in our own storage and manage our own transport. This results in reliable deliveries. We carry out fast deliveries in the Benelux using our own modern trucks and, in addition, we work together with reputable carriers who take care of the deliveries in the rest of Europe. This location is within very easy reach of the international ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp. A great deal was invested in storage facilities during the building. De koel- en vriescellen worden dan ook door een geavanceerd computersysteem non-stop gecontroleerd. 11 Quality control Visser & van Walsum manages most storage in-house. When the meat arrives in Dordrecht, it is checked by our warehouse managers for quality, freshness, temperature and packaging requirements, among others. Before the meat is delivered to our customers, we repeat the same quality control checks. The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority visits us regularly and checks all the hygienic processes. European laws and legislation All products are delivered directly from the abattoirs. In addition to guaranteeing extremely high quality, the abattoirs work in accordance with strict European laws and legislation with respect to animal welfare, food safety and sustainability. Certification Visser & van Walsum is certified by HACCP. This assures our customers that all our business processes are well managed and that food safety is guaranteed.
